The big waves on the beach attract the attention of some people to surf or swim there.
Bright weather becomes a supporter to enjoy the beauty of the beach with the pounding waves.
A woman was walking with sandals in her hand. His bare feet were left alone, leaving his toes doused in waves and sand.
His long hair was draped in a hat that protected him from the scorching sun that afternoon, as well as short denim pants and a white T-shirt lined with thin shirts without buttons occasionally fluttered in the wind.
The woman halted her steps and stared at the beach, then closed her eyes enjoying the wind and the splashing sea water that hit her face.
In the opposite direction, a man was engrossed in his cell phone without seeing the surroundings. One hand held another glass filled with young coconut ice.
The man who only wore shorts and a shirt without buttons, showed his perfect body with his abdominal muscles that were left plastered clearly.
The man stepped while photographing the beauty of the beach and occasionally selfie without paying attention to the path he passed. Until the inevitable happens,,, and,,,,
BRRUKK,,,!!
CURR,,, MAN,,,!!
"Ohh,,,!!!" the woman was suffocated when someone hit her and spilled a cold drink onto her body.
The slippers in his hand reflexively fell down and made him step back, as his other hand rubbed the cold water running from shoulder to foot.
"Gosh,, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry," the regretful response the man gave off made the woman look up to see who had hit her.
The man seemed to deeply regret his actions, the glass filled with ice water had previously landed smoothly on the sand.
"I'm sorry, miss. Really, I didn't do it on purpose" he said regretfully.
The man took off his shirt and immediately attached it to the body of the woman who had been partially wet with water from her glass.
"I don't have a handkerchief, but please use this first for a while" the man hoped.
"I'm going to buy you new clothes, can you come with me to buy clothes for you to wear?" hope the man.
The woman narrowed her eyes and looked at the man suspiciously.
"Please don't misunderstand me,!" welcome the man to realize the suspicious look the woman gave him.
"I just want to make amends, it's really an accident that I didn't intentionally do" he continued.
The man showed sincere regret on his face, making the waita feel pity. Smiling gently at the man, the woman finally opened her voice.
"It's okay, it will dry by itself later," the woman refused.
"Ah yes, you should take back your shirt, it will only get wet if it continues like this," he continued trying to remove the shirt from his shoulder.
"No, No. Please use it for a while, "reject the man who is now bare-chested while holding the woman's hand. Letting his shirt stay on the woman's shoulder.
"Come,!" take the man.
The woman followed the steps of the stranger in front of her.
The man went to a small shop around the beach and let the woman choose the clothes she wanted.
Not long after, the woman came out of the fitting room with new clothes she chose.
As if he had just realized the woman's face completely, the man was stunned to see the figure of the woman who was now standing in front of him.
"Let me take this," said the man, seizing the woman's dirty clothes. "I'll wash it, and give it to you after it's clean" he continued.
"Where do you live,?" ask the man.
"You don't have to do that, I can clean the clothes myself. And again you've bought me new clothes to wear," she refused.
"No, please let me do it" the man insisted. "I feel bad if you do it while I'm the one who stains your clothes" he continued.
"All right, it's up to you" replied the woman giving up.
'I don't want to argue, I won't necessarily see him again, I'll talk to him, ' he thought.
The man smiled happily and wrapped the dirty clothes to take home.
"I'm Joel, I live not far from here" he said, introducing himself as he reached out.
"Ariel" he answered, welcoming Joel's hand.
"Do you also live around this beach?" ask Joel.
"You can stop being formal if you want to" Ariel said. "My place of residence is about 20 minutes from here" he continued.
"Do you mind?" ask Joel to make sure.
"Not at all" replied Ariel.
"Thank you" said Joel with a big smile.
"May I ask for your phone number?" pinta Joel is polite.
"For,?" ariel asked, frowning.
"Make it easy for me to return this to you," Joel explained showing the bag of clothes in his hand.
"Oh, okay, okay" Ariel replied.
Ariel gave me her cell phone number.
"Have you come here with someone?" joel asked after keeping the phone in his pants pocket.
"I came alone" replied Ariel.
"Do you mind if I take you around?" ask Joel again.
"No, I don't mind" Ariel said.
They also began to stretch along the beach, enjoying the breeze that hit their faces. Letting the grains of sand sweep their bare feet.
"Isn't this beach beautiful?" joel opened the conversation.
"There were times when this beach had bigger waves than the current one, and it got me excited" said Joel.
"Do you like swimming?" ask Ariel.
"To be more precise, surfing," Joel explained.
"Impressive," greeted Ariel.
"So, what do you like about this beach, then,?" ask Joel.
"Hmmm,," Ariel thought for a moment before replying. " You were right about the beauty of this beach, and I agree. However, this beach also has its own peace of mind for its visitors, and well, I like it here because of that," said Ariel.
Joel nodded in agreement with a bright smile adorning his face. Their chatter continued until the sun was seen starting to set.
Ariel tells Joel to go home. With a heavy heart, Joel simply nodded.
'I hope, we meet again soon, Ariel, ' Joel's inner hope.
The phone ring resuscitated Joel who immediately reached into his pocket. On the screen of her phone was 'Elena' as the name of the caller.
"Yes,?" Joel answered the call with a different tone of voice than before.
"I'm sorry I interrupted your time, doc. But, there is an urgent situation, and this involves you. I didn't dare to fight because Doctor Seth started it" he said.
"I'll be there soon" replied Joel.
"Okay" he answered and turned off his phone.
"What are the problems now?" sighs slowly.
Joel rushes off the beach to the hospital where he works. His time off was disrupted because of his position as a new doctor in the hospital where he was transferred.
Joel arrived at the hospital and was immediately greeted by a nurse who contacted him some time ago, and explained the situation.
"I told Seth to postpone the surgery as ordered. However, Seth's doctor said the surgery would remain on the run. The result is , the operation did not go well, and the patient is still unconscious even when the anesthetic effect has disappeared" he explained.
" Where is he?" ask Joel.
"In the room, doc," Elena replied.
"Does the patient's family know this?" ask Joel again.
"For now it's not yet," Elena replied.
"I will try to overcome this, if the patient's family asks, just say nothing bad happened. Don't say anything as long as we can handle it. It would only make them panic,!" pinta Joel's.
"Okay" he answered obediently.
Joel entered the patient's ward and began to examine her condition. A small smile grew on his lips when he found out the patient's condition had no problems at all.
Without wasting any time, Joel came to Seth's room, and saw him face down on the table.
"He's fine, Seth" said Joel, raising his face, looking at Joel in disbelief.
"Well, it's thanks to you. You can handle it. I've been here longer, but you're the one who's always helping me solve my problems and the mess I've caused" Seth said.
"I was in your position before I moved to this town, Seth," said Joel.
"And I was being a breng**k when I first met you," Seth said with a shy smile.
"I go home first" said Joel ignoring Seth's remarks.
"Well, sorry to interrupt your time off" Seth said.
"I'm not bothered, it's our job as doctors" Joel said with a smile.
Jeol leaves Seth and returns home to rest. Yet again, the unexpected happened.
A woman was waiting for him next to his car. Joel looked at the woman with an angry look.
"What are you doing here?" joel asked coldly.
"Come, Joel. Don't be cold to me. I just miss you, that's why I'm seeing you," he said calmly.
"You've seen me, now go, "push out Joel.
"It's very rude" the woman quipped.
"You're a much different person than when you loved me before" he continued.
"I feel better than I used to" said Joel, smiling cynically.
"I'm not sure about that unless you fall in love again" she said.
"If you're done talking, get out of the way! You're blocking my car" said Joel, shifting the woman's body from her car.
"Joel,,, man,,,!" call the woman while holding Joel's hand.
"Can't we go back to what we used to be?" asked the woman with a sad look.
"No,!" joel forcefully pulled his hand and got into the car.
Ignoring the woman again, Joel runs his car, ignoring the screams of the woman who keeps calling his name.
Jesica, that woman's name. The woman who once filled his heart. But their relationship ended when Joel found out, Jesica was in a relationship with her own best friend.
Anger suddenly filled Joel's heart. Unknowingly, Joel has increased the speed of his car. Hope to reach home soon.
ZRASSHHH,,,,,
The rain was pouring down the streets of the city through Joel. That's when the car suddenly slipped. Joel loses control of his car and crashes into a woman crossing the street.
BRAAKKK,,,,,!!!!
CITTT,,,,!!!!
The sound of the impact of the car and the squeaking of the tires rubbing against the asphalt was loud enough to attract the attention of the people who immediately gathered to see what was happening.
"Oh my God," said Joel.
Joel got out of the car to check on the woman he had hit.
"Ariiell,,,!!" hiss Joel saw Ariel, the woman he had just met, lying covered in blood.
"Oh my god, what have I done" said Joel, lifting his drooping body motionless.
"I will take him to the hospital, and I will take full responsibility for his situation" Joel explained as people gathered and stared with judgmental gazes.
People nodded and helped open Joel's car door.
"Thank you" Joel said after getting in the car and immediately driving back to the hospital.
"Don't let anything bad happen to you, I won't forgive myself if something bad happens to you, Ariel" Joel murmured occasionally looking back where Ariel was lying.
Upon arriving at the hospital, Joel orders the nurse who welcomes him to prepare his supplies and clothes.
"I'll take care of it, there's no need to call Seth" Joel said before the nurse asked.
Ariel was taken care of by Joel until his critical period passed.
Joel even waited by the bed where Ariel was lying. His pale face made Joel's heart fall.
"How could I be this stupid?" regrettable. "I hope the medical report isn't bad. All my life, I'll only be in a circle of regret if something bad happens to you, Ariel," she said quietly in a trembling voice.
Secretly, Joel admired the beauty that Ariel had. Her tenderness while chatting with him made Joel unable to forget the short chat that happened that afternoon.
Joel sat leaning with his arms folded until his eyes were closed, his tired face showing great worry so that Joel himself did not know where the sense of care that just appeared.
