94. A changing attitude

They bowed their heads as if they were in the courtroom. With whatever punishment they will receive, because from the beginning their attitude is wrong.

"I asked ma_,," Marc just started to open the sound, but Ariel cut it first.

"Not even a little bit" replied Ariel.

Ariel's reply suddenly made them all raise their faces, directing their gaze at Ariel who was returning Bram's gaze.

"You sure?" ask Bram again.

"Why are you asking like I'm saying the wrong thing?" ariel asked, frowning.

"Just like that" said Bram, pointing at Joel with his head. "If the four eyes don't like anything that bothers you, I won't like it either" Bram said.

"Once again you call me four eyes, I'll make sure you wear glasses for the rest of your life" Joel said.

"Alright, not anymore, doctor Arogan," ledek Bram.

"Whatever," welcome Joel.

"So tell me!" Bram turned back to Ariel, waiting for her answer.

"No, they welcomed me well" Ariel replied.

"You sure you're telling the truth?" ask Bram again.

"You mean?" ariel asked, frowning.

Sometimes Ariel glanced at Joel who had chosen silence. This makes Ariel convinced that Joel has said something to Bram.

"I know you, and you're going to act like this just to protect someone" Bram replied.

"What do you think if I say they're doing something bad?" ask Ariel.

"Anything that might be useful" replied Bram.

"Including will you vent to the person who is not concerned?" ariel folded both her hands.

"Maybe," Bram replied slightly.

"Don't you think that's unprofessional?" ask Ariel.

"Come on," Bram answered, raising both his shoulders.

"You sound like you chose to be impulsive, instead of looking for a better way out" Ariel said.

"Is not impulsive sometimes necessary?" reply Bram.

"Yes, only if that person can control it," Ariel replied.

"I was just asking if they were being bad to you or not" Bram replied.

"I answered him" replied Ariel. "And my answer is still the same" he added.

"Well if that's your answer, I'm assuming it's over?" greet Bram.

'Huuft, I almost let out my anger, ' Bram sighed inwardly.

"I'm sorry if I interrupt" Oscar said.

Ariel, Bram and Joel turn to Oscar.

"Yes?" greet Ariel.

"Did they treat you like they shouldn't as long as they were with you, miss?" ask Oscar with a worried face.

"Absolutely not" replied Ariel. "I enjoy my time with them. They can even make amazing songs that I can hear" he added.

"Songs?" reset Oscar.

"What they're doing tonight is their own creation" Ariel said.

"Where do you know?" chirps Albert.

Albert immediately shut his mouth as Ariel turned to him.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt" Albert said.

"I know from you guys," replied Ariel smiling.

"And, Albert, come on, why are you so much me now? Don't you think I'm a friend?" ask Ariel.

"I_,,,"

"I don't accept your formal attitude" Ariel said.

"I'm sorry for my previous attitude" Marc said suddenly.

"Haahh,," said Ariel.

Ariel let out a long sigh, looking at those who still kept their heads down.

Joel and Bram chose silence as if to give Ariel some space. While Oscar who did not know anything just looked at Ariel and Albert's team in turn, trying to digest the situation that occurred.

"Look,,! Whatever happened before this, please, need not be discussed again. The reaction you showed me, especially the two of you, Marc and Marius, it was just a defensive reaction that anyone would show,"

"The difference is, to what extent the reaction is carried out by a person. I'm not going to say whether your attitude is good or bad, you know better about it,"

A few minutes later, Ariel and Joel also leave followed by Bram, leaving the Palais Granier building which has always been a place for orchestral or theater performances.

#### The next day.

Joel's eyes rounded perfectly as he exited the hotel where he was staying with Ariel and saw Bram waiting in the hotel room.

With a bright smile, Bram waved at the two of them.

"How did you get here?" joel asked as Bram approached them.

"Don't I tell you I want to go on vacation" Bram replied casually.

"Why should you join us?" greet Joel.

"That's it, just let him join," interrupted Ariel mediating them.

"But kan_,,,"

"Ariel is fine" Bram cut.

"Alright," replied Joel relented.

Bram smiled triumphantly. However, just as they were about to begin their journey, Bram's phone rang.

Bram immediately pulled out his phone and saw Sam's name on the phone screen.

"Yes?" welcome Bram to put a cell phone in his ear.

"I've got it sir" said Sam.

"Although this is not entirely, but it is quite enough if you want to fight against a great master" Sam explained.

"I even found some illegal documents and also documents about your matchmaking" he explained.

"Where are you now?" ask Bram.

"I'm at the branch office, in your room," explained Sam.

"Go from there, and move to the next building. I'll be there soon" Bram said.

"Okay" replied Sam.

The call ended by leaving a sharp frown on Ariel and Joel's forehead.

"Did something happen?" ask Ariel.

"I'm sorry, I have to go now, there's a job problem" Bram said.

As Bram is about to move away, Ariel's hand unconsciously catches Bram's wrist.

"Wait, Bram!" hold Ariel.

"What's wrong? Did something bad happen?" ask Ariel.

"Just a job problem, and they fail to address it. I can't possibly let them, can I?" callah Bram.

"You sure that's all?" ask Ariel again.

"Of course, and again, it seems like this is indeed required to be the day of the two of you," Bram replied chuckling softly.

"Have a good time" said Bram.

Bram brushed off Ariel's hand gently, then rushed off. Leave them with their own thoughts.

'What is he really hiding?' inner Ariel.

'Does this have anything to do with Ariel? I still can't find any evidence that the culprit who nearly kidnapped Ariel back then was her, Joel's inner self.

The two of them continue their journey after Bram's car disappears from their sight.

"Does Bram also have a car and a house in every place that has a branch of his company?" chirps Joel.

"Haa,,,???" Ariel tilted her head looking at Joel who had a serious face.

"I think he has a different life that we can't understand" Ariel said, raising her shoulders.

"Have you never been with her? Of course he treats you special considering how rich he is" Joel said in a skeptical voice.

"Yes, that's true," Ariel replied smiling wryly.

Joel's voice changes when saying that, for a moment to disturb Ariel's heart. The first thing he wanted to say to Joel, inevitably he swallowed back. It would feel useless to say that now.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to" Joel regretted when he noticed Ariel's change in face.

"It's not your fault, and I also know you didn't mean to" Ariel said.

While Joel and Ariel are about to travel for several hours, Bram enters an empty building where Sam has been waiting for him.

Sam waited in one of the spaces that had been neatened before. His eyes were on the building next to him, where the building was one of the companies Bram had managed to reach its peak.

Coinciding with the opening of the door to the room where Sam was in, Bram entered and immediately approached Sam.

Sam gave some documents to Bram who immediately read them.

"No," said Bram, shaking his head.

"It would be enough if only to silence him, but less if it were to defeat him,"

"I still need more than this" Bram said as he opened the document in his hand.

"Is there anything else you found?" ask Bram.

"I had a bit of difficulty looking for it, either since when, a lot of cameras installed in the corner of the office, including your room," said Sam.

"Are you also caught on camera?" he added.

"No, sir. I realized there was a camera before I got into the office, so I looked for a place where the camera blind spot was, and it helped me not get caught on camera,"

Bram rubbed his face in frustration. Trying to think of any way he could to turn things around.

'The only person who can help me right now is him, because he has a stronger connection than Dad. But, I'm not sure he'll help, ' Inner Bram.
