"BRRAKKK,,,,,!!!!!!!"
The loud clashing sound of the door being opened violently deafened the ears. The loud sound that managed to make someone inside jumped in shock.
"KENN,,,,!!!! What the fuck?" jolt Charlie.
Ken looked up and ignored Charlie. Walked past him just like that and planned on heading towards his room.
"Where have you been?" charlie asked a little annoyed. "Why come home this late?" coined.
Ken's still tight-lipped. He continued to walk up the stairs to his room with footsteps that looked like people were losing strength in his legs. As if he had run out of patience, Charlie pulled his brother's hand and twisted his body to face him forcefully.
Feeling his sister's attitude has crossed a line that continues to behave arbitrarily in his own home. However, Charlie was stunned when he saw the grim face of his sister when he managed to make her stand in front of him.
"Hey, what's up? Why put on a face like this? What's going on?" charlie asked soften his voice, gripping gently on the sister's shoulder.
"Shut up!" ken brushed Charlie's hand off his shoulder.
"I want to be alone" he added.
Ken was about to turn around to head for the room when Charlie quickly stopped him, turning his body back to face him. Only then did he realize his sister's eyes were red, not as usual. And the smell of alcohol from him.
"You drunk?" charlie's emotions are back on the hook.
"Stop acting like a kid! You're an adult, Ken. How long are you gonna act like a kid like this?" hadrik Charlie's.
"Whisper,,!" ken's jolt brushed Charlie's hand violently.
"What does my sister know? My sister doesn't know how I feel. My brother doesn't know anything about me. My sister doesn't know anything about my life either. There's no need to teach me what I should and shouldn't do,"
Ken vented his emotions, until he realized that he had called Charlie his brother.
Charlie was stunned for a moment, feeling happy, but there was also sadness in it. He was happy that Ken had called him brother, but he hoped to hear that not when his brother vent his emotions. Especially in a drunken state.
"Why? Is it wrong to like someone? Is it wrong to love him? Why does it hurt to see him with someone else? Why does he love others? Why not me? Why?"
Ken was talking about his feelings. It made Charlie not say anything.
For the first time, he saw the brother who was so myopic, the hard side in him seemed to evaporate without a trace. Now Ken hugs Charlie, sobs on his shoulder and continues to fumble about the woman Ken didn't mention by name.
"Why didn't he see me just once? Why should that guy? Why that guy? I've changed everything that looks bad in me, but why doesn't he see me?"
Charlie led his younger brother, who was still rummaging into the room, laid his body on the bed and removed the jacket and shoes he was wearing, and then covered his body.
He circulates his gaze in Ken's room and finds nothing to help him find out who his brother really loves.
Ken's rumble began to stop, replaced by a quiet and regular breath.
"Who exactly are you talking about, Ken?" sigh Charlie slowly.
Charlie cleans up his sister's body using a towel that he had dipped in water. Wiping his face that had fallen asleep. After a moment of silence, he immediately exited after turning off the room lights.
The next day, Charlie slips the drunken soup at the dinner table before he leaves for work.
Not to forget, he also put the cello suitcase in a place that is easily visible so that Ken can see it.
"Enghh,,,,"
Ken squirms over his bed, groaning softly as he feels his head throb.
He spread his eyes in a daze. It feels strange to his own room.
"Did I make it home?" gumamny.
But he soon realized he was no longer wearing the jacket and shoes he had previously worn. Even those shoes and jackets had been in the basket of dirty clothes.
As if hit by an electric shock, Ken immediately reached down the pillow, and took out a picture frame that still remained there.
"Did Charlie take me? Did he see this picture?" Ken muttered.
He feels a little anxious if Charlie finds out he's hiding a picture of someone in his room.
"Here you go, if he asks, I just need to make an excuse" Ken said indifferently.
By dragging his own body, Ken immediately headed for the bathroom to clean himself up, and got off.
Ken frowned when he saw the drunk soup that was ready at the dinner table, and a briefcase of Cello on the chair with a memo stuck there.
'For you, I hope you like it,'
And another one next to the soup bowl.
'May your drunkenness disappear after this meal,'
Ken recognized that the writing was his brother's handwriting. It made him even more certain that Charlie had entered his room last night.
"I hope I didn't say anything weird to her" Ken hoped.
"...."
"...."
"Why does it feel like this cello from Ariel's sister?" muttered Ken astonished.
He felt the Cello was set up well, and it felt the same as when Ariel set it.
Ken immediately brushed aside all the thoughts that filled his mind, feeling it was impossible for Charlie to know Ariel who was his music coach. Not wanting to think too much, he immediately ate the soup that had been prepared for him. Want to get ready soon to head to the studio to practice.

*In studio.
For the umpteenth time, Ken received a stern rebuke from Ariel. That's because Ken continues to lose focus and mess up practice sessions together, making the melodies played out of tune.
"You can rest" said Ariel. "Return back after three hours" he added.
"Good,,"
A simultaneous reply rang out, along with that, those who trained Ariel out left the training room, except for Ken. Is he still thinking about what is wrong with him? Why is it so hard to stay focused?
The two questions swirled in his mind without him being able to answer. Even as Ariel stood beside her, she did not notice it.
"What's going on with you, Ken?" asked Ariel put her hand on Ken's boat which looked pensive.
"Why is your game so messed up in a month?" ask with gentle intonation, without insistence.
"Sorry, brother," regretfully Ken lowered his head.
"I asked, Ken. Don't want to hear you apologize" Ariel said.
"I_,,," Ken hung up his sentence, lowering his head even deeper.
"What's wrong?" ask Ariel.
"If I ask you to accompany me to a family business meeting, can you take it?" please Ken.
"Why, I feel like this meeting will involve me playing music in front of everyone, and they hope I fail to use that to make me stop" Ken said.
Actually Ken knows, his parents often contact Charlie to persuade Ken to attend his family business meeting. However, Charlie always covers it from her, feeling it was just an excuse for Ken to come and get humiliated in front of a lot of people just because he loves music.
However, Ken also does not want to continue to be in the protection of his brother, he wants to be able to show his family that music is not something that can be underestimated. However, it actually suppresses his mind, in addition to Ken who sees Ariel looking friendly with a man in a restaurant that makes his emotions so high.
"When?" ask Ariel.
Ken looked at Ariel with widened eyes, as if he could not believe what he had just heard.
"Tomorrow at night" replied Ken.
"All right, I can accompany you" Ariel replied.
"really? Brother doesn't have to meet them, maybe it's much better. Because I don't want them to intimidate you either" Ken explained.
"I can see enough if they ask me to play,"
"Alright, but for now, fix your game first" Ariel said.
"Well, thank you very much, brother," said Ken.
Ken looks better than ever, but somehow Ariel feels there is something Ken is hiding from her.
Ken's game is back to how it was, but it sounds doubtful. Like there was something that made him worry.
Until, without feeling the event that Ken was talking about arrived, the event seemed to be filled with people who only talked about business. And sure enough, Ken's conjecture came true.
When Ken came with Ariel beside him, everyone present seemed to underestimate him. His family openly encouraged Ken to play the musical instruments provided by them, Piano and Cello.
Ken seemed to be trying to hold back his emotions when some people looked down on Ariel who was beside him. However, Ariel calms him down and persuades Ken to comply with their request by playing music.
"Just shut them up with your game" said Ariel slowly.
"But what if they're bothering you while I'm playing?" reply Ken whispered.
"I can take care of it" Ariel replied calmly.
With encouragement from Ariel, Ken finally complies and plays a short song using Cello.
In another corner, a woman approached the waiter in charge of delivering drinks and giving a packet of medicine to the waiter, asking the waiter to give a drink mixed with medicine to Ariel. Not to forget the woman gave some money to the waiter as a tip.
Despite his family's expectations, everyone was amazed when they heard Ken's game.
While Ariel was just standing in the corner of the room, watching her with a satisfied smile on her face. He took a drink from a waiter to him.
The thing that Ariel did not realize was, the maid showed an indecipherable smile. The smile on the servant's lips widened when he saw Ariel sipping a drink in his hand.
