At the chocolate shop, Joel was with Christina to buy chocolates to be given to Christina's mother.

Joel accompanied Christina because Cristina contacted him and asked for his help which was immediately accepted by him because he had a holiday to work.

The regrettable thing is, he forgot his promise with Ariel to go to David's place to take the Cello that Ariel left there to be repaired.

"It's okay, Joel. I can go by myself. It would be better if you were with Christina. He needs your help a lot more. He was new to the city" Ariel said that morning when Joel had just received Christina's invitation.

"He will definitely be disappointed if you cancel your promise in just a matter of minutes" Ariel reminded.

"But you're the one who's disappointed now" Joel lamented.

"I can understand, and I feel like you'd be better off accompanying her. Who else would he ask for help if it wasn't you, Joel?" persuade Ariel.

"Again, David's place is not far" he continued.

"Alright, but call me if there's anything or anything" Joel said.

"Sure, Joel," replied Ariel.

And here he is now. Christina at the chocolate shop. Sometimes they joke and laugh together just to avoid Christina knowing what Joel is feeling.

Several times Joel checked his phone and put it back in his pants pocket.

"Joel, do you think my mom would like it?" christina asked unaware of Joel's mood which looked different than before.

"Of course, he'll love it. In this store chocolate is quite popular," explained Joel.

Joel suppressed his guilt and focused his attention on Christina.

Christina was still busy choosing which chocolate she would give to her mother. While Joel checks his phone again, hoping Ariel sends him a message.

But his eyes actually caught the figure of Ariel enjoying lunch with Bram. Joel sees Ariel leaning over and rubbing the corner of Bram's lips.

'Was it because of that, he didn't tell me at all?' grumbled Joel in heart.

Joel's clenched hands held back his sense of regret. But the other side of his heart still wanted to believe what Ariel had told him.

That Ariel can't love Bram anymore. But the other side of his heart thought about the possibility that it could happen.

"Joel," call Christina while touching her shoulder.

"Ah, Eh, Yes, Yes,? Wh why? You said something?" Joel flinched as Christina touched his shoulder.

"What's wrong?" ask Christina worriedly.

"Ah, no, no, there's nothing. I'm sorry my mind was distracted" said Joel, turning his gaze to Christina.

"Did you say something, then,?" ask Joel.

"You don't have to stay with me when you have other interests Joel, you know that, right?" answer Christina.

"No, my mind was only distracted for a moment. Not because it matters" said Joel.

"Have you decided which choice you would make?" joel asked to switch the conversation.

"Yes, already. I've even asked them to wrap it up" said Christina.

"Want lunch?" bargain Joel.

"Gosh, I forgot about our lunch hour" cried Christina as she looked at her watch.

"I'm sorry, Joel," said Chritina.

"Hey,, relax. It doesn't go too far" said Joel calmly.

"How about we go to the bistrot across the street from the store?" fresh Christina.

"Again" replied Joel.

'I hope Ariel is still there, '" Joel said.

When Christina finishes her purchase, Joel sees Bram holding Ariel out of Bistrot and leaves with Ariel entering Bram's car.

"Come," Christina pulled Joel's hand towards the Bistrot they had agreed to.

Joel only complied as Christina pulled her hand. Can't think of anything else other than Ariel with Bram back then.

'Did Ariel ask Bram to accompany her because I broke my promise?' thought Joel.

'Damn it, if he approaches Ariel again, it's the same that I'm one step behind him, ' Joel's inner self.

Joel enjoys lunch with the mind not where he is at the moment. Even so, he could still cover it from Christina until he did not notice it.

Meanwhile, on the other side at the same time.

"Venice Boardwalk, huh,?" Ariel frowned while looking at Bram in confusion.

"Why bring me here?" ask Ariel.

"Remove the vexation_, perhaps," Bram replied raising his shoulder.

"You mean, skate?" ask Ariel again.

"Exactly," Bram replied, snapping his finger.

"You know very well that I'm not good at it, right?" welcome Ariel narrowing her eyes.

"Oh come on, did you forget I spent my time training here," replied Bram smiling triumphantly.

"In addition, you always like skate, whether you can or not, it does not make you stop playing skate," continued Bram.

Ariel rolled her eyeballs, no longer able to dodge.

"So, do you want to play?" tany Bram extended his hand.

"Are we going to my apartment to make something for dinner?" bargain Bram when Ariel does not welcome his hand.

"Skate is a better choice than that" Ariel replied quickly as she welcomed Bram's hand.

"Oh, my God, Ariel, your reaction is as if I'm going to put poison into the food you're going to eat" Bram said.

"Perhaps, poison is even better than that," greeted Ariel trserrious smile when remembering tasting dishes that Bram made could not be swallowed by him.

"Is my cooking that awful?" tanya Bram patted her forehead.

"Feel your driver even better" replied Ariel.

They laugh when they remember the same thing when Ariel said about the driver who worked for Bram.

"I think I have to learn from him just to impress you" Bram said after his laughter subsided.

"And how long do you think you can do it?" welcome Ariel to laugh again.

"I didn't even think about whether I would be able to or not" Bram replied.

"Do you know one thing, Bram?" greet Ariel.

"What's that?" ask Bram.

"You don't have to try to impress others. With what you have, everyone will be impressed by themselves with you" said Ariel.

"That means, you are the exception. The proof is, you're not impressed with me" said Bram.

"Because I've known you for a long time. And honestly I'm impressed with you too. Where you can manage the company very well, and be a good boss for those who work for you," said Ariel.

"But I failed to treat you well" Bram retorted lowered his head.

"Everyone makes mistakes to fix, Bram. And you did. You fix what you've broken" said Ariel.

"It also doesn't change the fact that I've ruined it" Bram said.

"That's not true, I can feel that you've changed" Ariel's rebut shakes her head. "Everybody has to start somewhere. It's like a cycle that pushes you to live life" he continued.

"You know? You've opened my mind to things I never thought would make me fall in love" Bram said.

"But in this case, I will always support you no matter what decision you make. I'm not going to see you, I've had enough just to be with you as a friend as you are now" he continued.

Ariel's stunned. His heart was again disturbed by Bram's argument, but also could not stop thinking about Joel. It was as if all his attempts to deny his feelings had ended in vain.

For the first time, his heart decided to let everything just flow.

"And for now," said Bram, moving his head out the window of his car.

"Let's have some fun" Bram asked.

Ariel smiled once more before nodding her head. Accept Bram's invitation.

Bram gets out of his car followed by Ariel and opens his trunk. Take out two pairs of Quad Skates for them.

"Have you prepared all this in the first place?" ariel asked narrowing her eyes.

"I always carry this in my car" Bram replied.

"Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah, I almost forgot, you always carry that in your car. And play wherever you go" Ariel said.

Bram chuckled for a moment, and looked at the two pairs of Quad Skates he had in hand. Reminds him of a time when they played together.

Bram helps Ariel wear it along with elbow and knee safety. Hands holding each other, and making sure Ariel remained safe, they began gliding with laughter. Enjoy the afternoon accompanied by sea breeze.
