Joel was still sitting in his room, busy writing something in a big, thick book.
He took off his glasses and pressed two fingers between his eyes, then sighed softly.
Joel looked at his watch, then smiled knowing he could go home because another doctor must have come at that hour.
Imagining Ariel's face and hoping to meet her today, Joel immediately tidied up her things.
Just as she was about to take off her doctor's suit, the sound of knocking on the door rang out, and she also knew, it wasn't the nurse.
"Hahhh,,, it seems to be delayed again," complained Joel slowly unbending the intention of removing the doctor's coat from his body.
"Come in," he said.
Joel finds a woman wearing a hat and a black mask behind the door. The coughing sound of the woman inevitably made Joel feel unbearable.
"Uhukk, Uhukk, excuse me doctor, did I come at the wrong time?" tanyakanya.
"Ah, no. Let's go ahead," said Joel, letting the woman sit down.
"I just, Uhuk,, uhuhuk, felt like the doctor was telling me to see another doctor" he said, ending with a dramatic cough.
'JLEBB,,,!!!'
'On the very target of this man, ugh, no, no, no, after all, he is a patient to be helped, ' Joel's inner self encourages himself.
"Ah, so. Please forgive me, it seems like my mind was distracted for a moment. Please sit down," pinta Joel.
The woman sat down, her hoarse voice making Joel feel bad because it showed the look of the face that made the patient uncomfortable.
"Well, now, did you come in regarding your cough?" ask Joel.
"Yes, right. I coughed in a few days, my throat was burning" he lamented.
"Sorry before, could you please give me your hand?" pinta Joel's.
The woman according to stretched out her hand, and was a little bit uncomfortable in her sitting.
When Joel saw the woman's hand, touching it, he felt familiar when checking his pulse. He began to look for a gap to find out who the woman in front of him.
Just as Joel finished checking the pulse of the woman in front of him, Joel saw something sparkling around the woman's neck, a necklace he knew best because he gave her the necklace, and deliberately chose a necklace that was the only store he went to. And it seems that the necklace failed to be hidden by the woman in front of him.
Joel smiled faintly, looking at the masked woman in front of him.
'Trying to tease me? Let's see how far you can pretend, Ariel, Joel's inner self.
"Have you previously taken drugs that were not from a hospital or doctor?" joel asks following Ariel's play.
"Only medicine from the clinic, uhuk,,uhuk, and it doesn't help at all" he explained.
"So," Joel answered and started writing something down.
Joel secretly asks a nurse through a message to deliver some of her belongings to distract her.
Shortly after, the sound of knocking on the door made Joel wake up from his seat, smiling kindly and saying he was going to show some medicine that might be the same as the one he had taken as an alibi.
"Wait a minute, I'll show you examples of drugs, maybe one of them is the drugs you consume, and I can find out why the drugs don't work on you" said Joel.
"Okay, doctor," he answered nodding his head.
The woman who was none other than Ariel tried her hardest to hold back the laughter as Joel approached the door and a nurse gave Joel a box of medicine.
Saying thank you, the nurse left and Joel closed the door. What Ariel didn't know was that Joel locked the door.
His wide grin was clearly painted on Joel's face as he approached Ariel who was now sitting on his back.
Standing right behind her, Joel turned the chair, made Ariel face herself, and bent her body, brought her face closer to Ariel's face, and removed the glasses she was wearing
"Hemmm, these eyes make me think of someone, you have beautiful eyes, miss," said Joel smiling.
Feeling that her disguise had been revealed, Ariel smiled back behind her mask.
"Is that so?" ariel replied in a normal voice.
"Does that mean you would consider becoming my doctor's lover?" asked Ariel teasingly. "I would love to have a handsome lover like you" he added.
"Sadly, I already have a boyfriend. You're a little late" Joel replied.
Joel took off the hat that Ariel was wearing, causing her hair to break, and continued to remove the mask that covered Ariel's face.
"Don't you feel like your lover would be jealous if you saw you like this doctor?" ariel asked, turning her head.
"Hemmm, you're right. But it makes me wonder what his jealous face looks like" said Joel.
"You are very brave. Does that mean I'm prettier than your lover?" ariel asked, pulling Joel's collar towards her.
"After seeing you, I think she's getting prettier now" Joel replied.
Ariel could not hold back her laughter anymore.
"Your imagination can really bring anyone who hears it to your knees, Joel. Are you aware of that?" ariel ended the game.
"If you were one of them, I would gladly accept them" Joel replied.
"It seems like my disguise is very bad," Ariel said in her laughter.
"I barely recognized you with a voice that tricked me" Joel said.
"Big liars" said Ariel. "The fact is you recognized me quickly" he added.
"Because of this," said Joel touching the necklace on Ariel's neck that came out from behind his clothes.
"It looks like I didn't hide this necklace properly," Ariel chuckled softly.
Joel pulled Ariel's body to stand up, and in one jolt, he pulled Ariel into his arms.
"How long haven't I seen you? It felt so long, and it really made me miss you so much" Joel half-whispered.
"You're not the only one who feels that way" Ariel replied in Joel's embrace.
"That's why I came to see you," he added.
"I'm sorry for being too busy these few days, and ignoring you a little. I really don't intend to do it" Joel lamented.
"If you can understand when I'm busy, it'll be selfish if I can't understand you" Ariel said.
Ariel loosened her embrace, slightly pushing Joel's higher body away from her.
"It would be dangerous if a nurse suddenly came in and saw us together" Ariel warned.
"I've locked the door" replied Joel lightly.
Joel brought her face closer, but Ariel immediately pushed her by putting a finger on Joel's cheek and turning Joel's face away from her.
"Basic doctor pervert," ledek Ariel.
"Let's go out, and wait for dinner" Ariel said.
"Alright," greeted Joel in a lethargic voice.
"Hey, Bunny, don't cover your handsome face with such an expression, it doesn't suit you" teased Ariel, then laughed.
Joel smiled widely, and took off his doctor's suit, then kept his special diary.
"Let's go" Joel said, holding Ariel out of her room.
Joel deliberately intertwined Ariel's fingers on hers, as if telling anyone who saw them that they were lovers.
No matter if he is going to be the talk of the day or not, he just knows he wants to spend time with Ariel, the person he loves.
Ariel gives the keys to Jole's car, as Joel does not bring the car today, planning to spend the afternoon together ahead of dinner, they agree to go to the city center.
They both stopped at a movie theater, but did not immediately get out of the car, as if they had chosen the wrong choice. For a while, they looked at each other, then laughed.
"I think we have the same voice about cinema" Joel said.
"I agree, let's go somewhere else" Ariel asked.
In the end they just drive around town and end up having dinner at a restaurant. They sat in a corner that was not too much of a limelight, waiting for the waiter to deliver their order with their hands interlocked.
Without the two of them noticing, there were eyes that continued to look at them with a gaze that was hard to decipher. The man continued to sit there, watching Ariel and Joel for a few minutes.
A person who wears a hat to cover his head, and wears a jacket with a high collar covering part of his face. His eyes continued to look at the togetherness of Joel and Ariel with a dislike gaze. The man moved from his seat with an annoyed face, leaving the restaurant.
