54. The Feelings That Start to Appear.

Ariel squirms in her bed. For the umpteenth time, he changed his sleeping position, hoping it would put him to sleep. However, his eyes still did not want to be closed.

His mind kept on going to Joel. Even Joel's face was always in his eyes.

Joel left hours ago after a long debate that made Joel think Ariel would move back.

"Arrghhh,," growled Ariel ruffled her hair.

"Why is it so hard to sleep?" sigh Ariel.

No matter what kind of coincidence Ariel got, her phone rang with Joel's name on her phone screen.

"Did I wake you?"

Joel's voice sounded right as Ariel pressed her phone in her ear. The voice that sounded anxious from her brought a small smile at the corner of Ariel's lips.

"I was dreaming when the sound of my cell phone was bothering me" Ariel teased.

"Ah, I'm sorry, then, I'll just close it, you just continue your sleep. Sorry to wake you up" Joel said in a panic.

"Hey, listen! I'm kidding, I haven't even slept yet" Ariel let out a small laugh.

"Arielll, you surprise me" Joel protested.

"Should I apologize? Even when I do it intentionally?" ariel replied.

"Tck, do you like to tease me when we're far away?" Joel Decak.

"That's his name to take advantage of an opportunity, Joel," said Ariel defending himself.

"All right, tell me! What's up?" ask Ariel.

"I just wanted to call you, I couldn't sleep" Joel said.

"Okay, I'll be honest, I can't sleep either, and I think you came at the right time" Ariel said.

"Thinking me?" joel Goda.

"You're overconfident, young master," Ariel said as she laughed softly overshadowing the sudden nervousness.

"I'm pretty sure you didn't hear me wrong" Joel replied.

"It's so much confidence" Ariel sneered.

"Your lips are sweet, and I can't forget them" Joel said.

"JOELLL,,,,!!" ariel exclaimed with a reddened face.

"Now I wonder, is your face red? I'd love to see it" teased Joel.

"You still owe me a slap" Ariel said.

"Please, I don't mind, even if I have to get ten slaps with one kiss from you for the payoff, I'll do it" Joel replied.

"Shut up,,!!!" greet Ariel with a dead red face.

Joel laughed heartily at Ariel's reply. As if he knew for sure Ariel wasn't mad at him. Makes him want to keep teasing Ariel.

"What makes you nervous?" joel suddenly changed his tone.

"You mean?" ariel asked, asking,

"I feel like you're nervous about something, can you tell me, what's that about?" ask Joel.

"That's_,,,," Ariel rolled her eyes.

"Well, whether it's about arrangement or not I don't know for sure" Ariel replied.

"What if you come to my house tomorrow afternoon?" bargain Joel.

"What's there?" ariel is interested.

"There are no special events actually, but seeing the sunset can sometimes feel peaceful. And you can think right about the offer Albert gave you" Joel said.

"I don't think you'd like it if I accepted the offer" Ariel said.

"Honestly, I don't like it. It's just, it's like your soul, just like me who loves surfing, I'll also behave the same if I get an offer regardless of who's making an offer to me" Joel replied.

"I'll think about it, thank you for understanding, Joel," Ariel replied.

"So, you're coming tomorrow?" ask Joel.

"I don't think that's a bad idea" Ariel said.

"The answer is yes. I'll prepare something after work" said Joel girang.

"I'm happy to do it, and if you want to help, just say what you like and don't like. Don't just think I made it, you ignore yourself" Joel said.

"I don't" Sagkal Ariel.

"Hey, wait, Ariel!" hold Joel.

"Yes?"

"When I can't sleep, I have a habit of putting pillows on my waist and legs, I don't know if it would be the same if you did it, but you can try it" Joel suggested.

"I'll try it" replied Ariel.

Ariel puts down her phone and tries out Joel's advice. He placed a pillow under his waist and legs, and then stretched his body.

"Ugh, this is an uncomfortable position" murmured Ariel.

Ariel squirmed and shifted her body again.

'The longer, the more comfortable this position is, ' Ariel's inner self.

The cantunk feeling gradually approached Ariel, until without realizing it, she had fallen asleep with a smile adorning her lips.

At the same time elsewhere, Joel did the same, and when the drowsiness was almost completely overpowered, his phone rang.

With a groping motion, Joel grabs the phone and sees Christina's name on the phone screen.

"Do you have another show?" guess Christina.

"Yes," Joel replied.

"Can't you come with me for a minute?" persuade Christina.

"I'm sorry, I can't cancel a promise I made a third time" Joel replied firmly.

"Even for me?" talk to Christina again.

"I can't if I have to keep disappointing someone, Christina. I hope you understand," replied Joel subtly.

"All right, I get it. Sorry to interrupt your sleep. Good night, Joel," sighed Christina disappointed.

Joel raises his shoulder and throws his phone the other side of his bed. It didn't take long, Joel fell asleep with the pillow under his waist.

"Tck,,, sucks," snorted Christina.

Christina threw her phone after Joel ended her call without replying.

"Did Joel really like me or was he just being nice to me?" furious Christina.

"I'll see you tomorrow, Joel. You just wait. I already know where you live, where you work, and where you will most likely visit" Christina told herself.

Christina squashed her body on the bed and tried to close her tired eyes. Imagining Joel's face, he fell asleep with a smile on his lips
