118. Double Date

"Excuse me,,,"

Again someone interrupted her activities, leaving Ariel with no other choice but to raise her face to find out who the person who greeted her was.

"Darcie?"

Ariel is shocked by Darcie's sudden presence. His big smile seemed to tell himself that the man was happy to meet Ariel at the cafe like the previous time.

"Can I sit here?" ask Darcie for permission.

"Ah, yes please," greeted Ariel.

"Thank you,"

"During not meeting. How are you?" ask Darcie when she's sitting down.

"Ah, right, I forgot when was the last time I met you" Ariel said.

"I'm good, how about you?" reply Ariel.

"Much better after meeting you," Darcie replied smilingly.

"Are you really such a sweet talker before?" welcome Ariel to smile.

"Honestly no, but it just came out looking at you" Darcie smiled.

Anyone who saw her smile would have said it was dazzling, and Ariel acknowledged that. However, it made him compare with others. A person who he thought had a smile was much more dazzling than anyone, and that was his own lover.

"Ouch, I never thought you would say that honestly," Ariel said softly.

"I just said what came to my mind" Darcie said, raising her shoulders.

"To tempt someone?" seloroh Ariel smiled mischievously.

"Well, does it work?" darce replied asking.

"For someone else, I think yes," Ariel replied.

"What does it mean not if it's for you?" ask Darcie.

"It's a shame, it didn't work" Ariel replied grimacingly. "you've got to try even harder" he added.

Darcie failed to hold back her laughter, she looked back at Ariel who looked more cheerful than the last time she met.

"It looks like something good happened to you" said Darcie.

Ariel was sipping coffee from her cup when Darcie asked. When she opened her voice to answer, Ariel felt someone's hand land on her head, making her look up.

"I'm sorry, I'm late" he regretted.

The man smiled as Ariel looked at him. The smile that he had even just thought of was now in front of his eyes. His eyes looked tired behind the glasses he wore, making Ariel lose her appetite to ask the reason for arriving late.

"It's okay, sit down" Ariel said.

"You're with a friend?" he said while giving a friendly look to Darcie.

"Inadvertently met here" replied Ariel.

"You seem familiar" said Joel slowly as he tried to remember something.

"Ah, yes, yes you were with Ariel at the cafe," said Joel after successfully remembering.

"True, it's been happening for quite a while," Darcie said.

"Joel," he said, extending his hand to introduce himself.

"Darcie," she greeted him smilingly with Joel's hand.

"Dating?" god Darcie made Ariel blush.

Darcie laughed in satisfaction and gave a look of understanding. As he was about to speak again, someone approached him while slightly bowing his body.

"I'm sorry, sir, it's time" he said politely.

Darcie glanced at her watch and smiled.

"Unfortunately, my time seems to have run out" said Darcie.

"It's nice to meet you, Joel. Hopefully we can meet again on another occasion, as well as you, Ariel," said Darcie.

"Well, hopefully we can talk more next time" Joel said.

"When we meet again,"

Darcie said goodbye as she waved briefly and left followed by the man who called her master.

"Sir, isn't that the lady you helped secretly? Miss it's like together_,,,"

"His love. Well, I know, I think I like the wrong people, but I don't regret helping them. That smile was far more precious than anything," Darcie cut down calmly.

"I understand, sir," he greeted.

While Joel and Ariel continue to stare at Darcie's departure until the man disappears from their sight.

"Want to order a drink?" tawar Ariel's.

"No" replied Joel. "This is it," he continued.

Joel took over the cup from Ariel's hand and drank it.

"Should we just cancel today's plan?" ask Ariel.

"No, why should it be canceled?" welcome Joel immediately change his sitting position to face Ariel.

"You look exhausted" replied Ariel.

"Ahh, that's apparently. Hemmm, I'm just a little upset that Seth just changed his schedule and threw his operating schedule at me" Joel explained.

"You're really wasting a lot of time!"

A man's loud voice sounded annoyed at the voice of the woman who responded casually as if not feeling guilty interrupted Joel, making him not finish his sentence and set his gaze to the source of the voice.

"Hey, we're not even late, after all, the show's late and it's still late,"

"If you asked me to pick you up, you should have been ready from the start, Keanpa still asked me to wait and it was half an hour,"

Jesica walked side by side with Ariel, and Bram on the other side, while Ariel also walked side by side between Jesica and Joel.

They set foot towards the lantern festival which is being held by the local people. Lantern flights that will be carried out at night make them have time to go around enjoying the festival before the event begins.

Jesica pulls Ariel's hand and heads towards a basketball throwing game tent, resulting in two men who are with them being slightly left behind. A wide grin adorned his face as he arrived in front of the tent and turned to look at the two men behind them.

"Bare challenges?" challenge Jesica to lift the basketball in her right hand.

"Challenge?" reset Bram.

"Well, who gets the most balls, he's the winner" Jesica said.

"No, thank you," Bram refused.

"Fearful?" ledek Jesica's.

"Who is afraid? I'm just lazy" replied Bram.

"Your efforts in evasion are lousy, cowardly," said Jesica.

"Hey,, Ugh, fine, just don't get mad when you lose" Bram replied.

"A,, A," Jesica shook her head.

"Not me, but Joel," replied Jesica at will.

"I didn't even say I wanted to play" Joel said.

"Then, just think about the gift," Jesica replied pointing to a row of gifts in the form of large-size dolls.

Joel looked at the large doll for a while, and turned to Ariel, then back to the doll, challenged to get it.

"Here you go, let's go somewhere else" Ariel asked as she pulled Joel's arm. "Jessi only provoked you into following his game" he added.

"Wait a minute" prevent Joel from holding his hand.

"The prize looks interesting, I want to play for a while" continued Joel.

"Good," said Jesica with a satisfied smile.

The tentkeeper smiled kindly and gave the ball as requested by Jesica. He put down ten balls each and asked Joel and Bram to choose his own basket.

With a cue from Jesica, the two of them started throwing the ball at the ring that was far ahead of them.

Bram clucked irritably when his score was below Joel, making Jesica laugh even more.

"Take this," Bram gives Jesica the doll he got.

"Forku?" welcome Jesica a little doubtful

"Take it or I throw it away" Bram said again when Jesica did not receive the doll in his hand.

"Eh, no, no!" jesica said immediately snatch the doll.

"But, are you sure you gave this to me?" ask Jesica to make sure.

Bram just shrugged his shoulders indifferently and avoided looking at Jesica.

On the other hand, Ariel smiled again when she saw the attitude of the two of them. His hand grabbed Joel's arm and walked back. Every now and then they stop being fined others who sell food or accessories.

Until the event they had been waiting for finally arrived. Some other couples have one lantern in their hand ready to be let go.

As the countdown begins, Ariel and Joel slowly release the lantern in their hands. The originally dark sky turned bright as the lanterns began to fly higher and higher.

Ariel felt Joel clasping her hand, as if asking Ariel to look at her.

"Ariel," call Joel.

"Yes,,,?" greet Ariel.

Ariel turned her head only to realize Joel had kneeled down in front of her with a box of bright ash velvet and a ring inside with one hand.
