I'LL ALWAYS LOVE YOU

I'LL ALWAYS LOVE YOU
128. Eliminating Trauma

That one sentence was enough to make Ariel shudder. The movement of his hand that was bribing food stopped in the middle of the road, and lowered his hand again, replaced with a grim face.

"Why go there?" asked Ariel doubtfully.

"Remember what I said about Flyboarding?" joel replied asking.

Ariel did not respond to Joel's question. Instead, he wished it was just a joke Joel had told him just to stain himself.

"I've signed you up to join the Flyboarding activities with me" Joel said. "And our flight is tonight" he added.

Once more. The words he was not expecting to hear, as if giving Ariel an affirmation that Joel was not joking. Ariel continued to stare at Joel with a gaze that she herself could not decipher.

"I don't want to" Ariel replied in a stiff voice.

Joel got up from his seat, immediately catching what Ariel was feeling right now. His outstretched hand gently rubbed the top of his head.

"Sweety, listen to me" said Joel softly.

His hand shifted the chair where Ariel was sitting, and knelt in front of him. His hand turned gently rubbing Ariel's cheek.

"I never thought to make you feel that fear again, but the only way that fear goes away from you is by doing what you've always avoided,"

"I promise I'll keep you safe, and I'll never let anything happen to you" Joel said.

Ariel remained unmoved, avoiding as much eye contact with her husband as possible. The shadow as one pressed his head in the pool water re-spun before his eyes, even as he fell into the sea again filled his memory.

The feeling when sea water filled his lungs, the futile effort he made to stay on the surface of the water actually made him more dragged deeper, until everything turned pitch black.

"Hey,, Sweety," called Joel in a soft voice.

"Stop thinking bad things. That's not gonna happen again. Not as long as I'm by your side, and I'll never let anyone else do it again, okay?" said Joel.

"But I_,,,"

"No problem if you don't want to play Flyboarding. Then, we just need to enjoy the holidays there, that's all," Joel said.

His hand turned to hold Ariel's hand.

"I just want to show you, what you're afraid of isn't what you're really afraid of. You're just afraid of the people who did that to you,"

"And in terms of fighting someone, I don't doubt you can deal with it,"

"I want to show you, even if you can't swim, that doesn't mean you can't have fun with water-related things,"

"If you still don't want to do it, it's okay, then we just have to do something else there,"

All of Joel's gentle words to Ariel, slowly erased the slight feeling of fear in his heart. Makes her fully confident that she can trust everything Joel says, that nothing bad will happen.

Finally, Ariel nodded slowly, bringing a wide smile on Joel's lips. He stood up and kissed Ariel.

"I promise it will be worth it, and you won't be disappointed" Joel said.

"Now, finish your lunch! We can go for a walk afterwards if you want to" he continued.

They continued their lunch. Decided to sit back on the long sofa after finishing with their lunch.

On the other hand at the same time, someone who was talking about Jesica that morning with Evrad was staring at his computer screen with a serious face. A man who is known by many people by the name of Adonis and known as Ariel as Darcie.

"Sorry, my master interrupted you for a moment. I've got it" said the man who was always with him as well as his right hand.

The man stood behind Darcie while thrusting the tablet in his hand.

"As you may have guessed, the person named Evrad who previously spread the personal information of Miss Ariel, still continues to target the lady" he said with respect.

"Hemmm, keep an eye on that guy! If he comes back, you know what to do, right?" greet him in a cold voice.

"I understand" he answered obediently.

"But may I ask you one question, sir?" coined.

"About why did I do it when he got married?" guess it.

"Uhm,, really. It's like you're not when you can say you don't know the lady yet, but you've done things so far" he said.

"Come on," replied Darcie raising her shoulder.

His finger was still continuing to scroll through the tablet in his hand, his eyes were keenly reading what was written there when he suddenly stopped his finger with a look of laughter.

"Have you ever felt the urge to protect someone so great, Frank?" ask Darcie.

"As far as I'm concerned, I just feel it for my brother" Frank replied.

"What's your reason for that?" guess Frank.

"Yes and no" replied Darcie.

He put the tablet on the table, then got up from his seat, put his hand in his pants pocket while walking towards the window.

"The first time I met her, the first time I touched her hand, I felt so anxious to protect her from anyone who bothered her or anyone who took that smile off her lips,"

"I don't know where this feeling comes from. But my heart keeps urging me to do whatever makes her happy,"

"He knows me or he doesn't, he knows whether I did it or not, which is not important to me. All I think is important now is that no one will let me touch it" Darcie said.

Frank wailed. For the first time he saw his master with such an attitude now. The master he knew and always served was a person who had great ambition. Destroy anyone who hinders his business.

A figure who would not even think twice when already saying his wish. His master never even seemed interested in any woman who sought sympathy from him. No matter how beautiful she was or how attractive she was, no woman could ever move her heart.

Many people call him a cold-blooded man, who can even finish off his own family. Although the truth is that they started it, people's views do not change anything that has been flawed.

It was actually beneficial for him where people would think twice if they wanted to deal with him.

"Tell me one thing, Frank!" darcie's words jolted Frank a little.

"I, sir?" welcome Frank to the nod.

"I have not dared to interpret the meaning, yet" Frank replied cautiously.

"However, you have a deep sense of care for Miss Ariel, that's obvious. I also can't say it's love or just plain affection, because as far as I can remember, you'll behave the same when it comes to your late sister,"

Darcie pensively thought about the words of her assistant. The assistant who has been with him for years. People who had known him when they were both in the same school, however, he had always been respectful towards Darcie. He sat back in his chair, retracing what Frank had gotten for him.

"Ariel Esther, she even had a dark life in her childhood without getting any protection from anyone and surviving alone by working in a burger stand,"

"And the man who used to hire him no one knows where that man is, either,"

"Right, sir," welcome Frank.

"All I got was, the house that the lady used to live in when she was a child, now is a nightclub founded by Mr. Evrad. At once he was the perpetrator of violence committed against Miss Ariel just because he wanted to take over the land that the lady occupied," said Frank.

"Evrad, he was quite the opposite of his son Bram. The boy has more of a humanitarian side than his father,"

"And who is Jesica written here? Company owner NN Group. That's a pretty big company, even bigger than Evrad," asked Darcie.

"Miss Jesica was a friend of Nana Ariel. And he's the one who almost went into our server to investigate the master who helped Miss Ariel" Frank said.

"Friend huh? Let's see how far he's going to find out. If he continues to be on Ariel's side, then I'll also help him when he's in trouble" Darcie said.

"Then, what about Ariel's parents?" ask Darcie.

"I've been looking for him, sir. But I can't get it. I only get one piece of information" Frank explained.

"What's that?" ask Darcie.

"Miss was left alone in by her parents when she was five years old in a state of illness" Frank said.

"Find out!" Darcie's Word.

"Let me express my opinion, sir," hoped Frank.

"Say!" welcome Darcie.

"If we find out more about this, I'm just worried that one day she'll find out, and see what we already know, I assume Miss Ariel would prefer to forget her parents, or it would just present another trauma for Miss Ariel" Frank explained.

"A very reasonable explanation" replied Darcie.

"Take a careful look, if you still don't find anything, then stop" said Darcie.

"Okay, sir," replied Frank.

"Ah, I forgot to say one thing, sir," Frank said suddenly.

"Miss Ariel and her husband have plans to travel to the Caribbean tonight. Their names have been registered on the flight tonight and they are joining the Flyboarding activities" Frank said.

"Can't he swim?" welcome Darcie not willing.

"According to my arrest, Ms. Ariel's husband may want to remove the trauma that Ms. Ariel felt after so many years," Frank replied.

Darcie paused for a moment and thought, then set her eyes on her assistant.

"Isn't there one person who wants to work with us and I haven't responded yet?" ask Darcie.

"Really, sir. Are you_,,,"

"Yes, make the trip for tonight" Darcie cut.

"And you're coming with me, too" he added.

"Well, sir," welcome Frank.

"One more,"

Frank waited patiently.

"Set up the same flight as them,"

"EEHHHH,,,,????"

Frank was surprised, his eyes widened perfectly. He kept looking at his master to ascertain whether the one who had just requested for an ordinary flight and not Class A was his master or not.

"Don't make me repeat it, Frank" said Darcie.

"B-well," welcome Frank.

Frank rushed out of his master's room with a puzzled face. While Darcie's face turned soft.

#At the airport at night.

Ariel sat in the plane seat by the window with Joel beside her. He looked out the window as if he was thinking of something. Until his hand felt another hand squeezing his hand gently.

"Want to change your mind?" ask Joel.

Ariel shook her head, leaning her head on Joel's shoulder before opening her voice.

"No, I don't want to ruin what you've arranged even if you don't mind it" Ariel said, looking up at Joel's face.

"I want to enjoy it with you" he continued

Before Joel could answer, they heard a voice that felt familiar to them. The two of them immediately let out the same sound as when the person was sitting in the same row as their chair.

"DARCIE,,,!"
