124. Holy Promise.

The wedding altar in the open is decorated with coral roses and soft cloth that dangles to the ground with a sign. Blue sky and green grass as a complement to add to its beauty.

A neatly lined white chair in front of the altar was prepared for the guests. Dozens of chandeliers adorned each corner and ceiling of the tent that shaded the place where the wedding procession was held.

In another corner, tables and chairs with a wide selection of food and drinks are presented to the guests present at the event.

In a room, Joel had just finished wearing a black tuxedo suit with Bram and Ken accompanying him there in their matching suit.

"Who would have thought, your big day would be done today," said Bram breaking the silence while staring at Joel from top to bottom, then smiling with satisfaction.

"And now I'm nervous" said Joel grimacingly stroking his own chest.

"Of course" Bram replied laughing. "Just breathe as usual" he added without burden.

"And, I have a chance to see him first compared to the two of you," Ken interrupted with a wide grin on his face.

"Let's just say you're lucky" said Joel, pursing his lips.

"Sister Joel won't kill me once the show's over, will he?" ask Ken.

"That's a very good idea, I think I should think about it," Joel said grinning.

"Now I'm no longer surprised by my brother's answer" Ken said.

"This Cello player is no longer a boy" said Bram ruffling Ken's hair.

They laughed lightly together, until it was time for Joel to come out. Bram was in a row of chairs with the other guests, while Ken walked towards the dressing room.

"You're so beautiful, Ariel. The prettiest bride I've ever met" Charlie praised.

"I wouldn't be like this without Jessi's help" Ariel smiled.

"I have nothing to do with your appearance" replied Jesica.

"Isn't he a little bit of a bitch? He doesn't realize how he looks like right now" Jesica gerundel told Charlie.

Charlie was wide-eyed for a while, but nodded in agreement with what Jesica had said.

"It's time for us to go" Jesica said.

"Right, maybe Ken's waiting ahead" Charlie said as he looked at his watch.

"I'm very grateful about that, Charlie," Ariel said.

"You mean, Ken?" charlie asked who was greeted with a small nod.

"She's just a good sister because you're a big brother to her, doesn't that mean we're brothers?"

"If you consider him a sister. How could he not think of you as a sister?" greet Charlie.

Ariel smiled haru. Friends and friends, encounters he never expected, all relationships that naturally intertwine and become stronger as time goes on.

Jesica and Charlie go out first leaving Ariel alone, allowing Ariel to use the time she has left to calm her heart before she exits the dressing room. When he opened the door, Ariel greeted Ken who was waiting for him.

Ken could not hide his face when he saw Ariel coming out in her wedding dress.

"It feels like, uh, I'm going to want to switch positions with Joel right now" Ken said bluntly.

"And be a corpse the next day?" keep Ariel.

"Keenn,," Ariel chuckled softly at Ken's now bold behavior of licking Joel or Bram even in front of their faces.

"The prettiest bridal brother I've ever met, and trust me today will be the perfect day for my sister" Ken said.

"Sister just needs to smile, and everything will be fine," comforted Ken to gently pat Ariel's hand.

Ariel took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, turning to Ken for a moment and refocusing her attention on the path in front of him.

"Please promise not to make me fall" Ariel said.

"Never, ever" promised Ken.

Ariel adjusted her breathing again, then nodded slowly.

They began to slowly walk towards the altar. At first, each step felt heavy for Ariel, her hands clutching firmly several times as nervous feelings re-emerge.

However, Ken still stepped calmly, showing that everything would go well. The guests stood up and set their eyes on the bride who was walking towards the altar. All eyes gave the same astonished look as they took a closer look at the bride.

That actually makes the nervousness that Ariel felt increased. Until his eyes met with Joel who had been waiting at the end of the middle. The gentle smile that Joel gave Ariel as if rubbing against her, made Ariel return her smile.

When the two of them had reached the end of the altar, Ken extended Ariel's hand to Joel who immediately greeted her. Their gazes met for a moment until Joel led Ariel in a step and stood in front of the priest.

The show started with service. No one made a sound when the priest began to recite the prayer. Until it came for the two of them to declare the wedding vows that started from the priest.

"I, Joel Graciano,,,"

The priest began to say that followed by Joel where they had stood face to face and looked at each other with interlocking hands.

"I, Joel Graciano, accept you Ariel Esther, as wife. To have each other and keep each other, from now on and forever. Promise to understand you for who you are and what you are in the future. Be by your side in sorrow and happiness, rich and poor, healthy and sick. And I swear I'll love you above all else, and for the rest of my life,"

The sound of a promise spoken full of sincerity makes anyone who hears it touched by the promise Joel said.

The promise of marriage continues with Ariel who reveals her promise after Joel.

"I, Ariel Esther, accept you Joel Graciano, as husband, to love and cherish one another. Promise to be faithful and love you today and every day. Always be with you in joy and sorrow, in abundance and lack, in health and in pain. And I swear I'll love you all my life until death do us part,"

After saying their promise, Joel pinned the ring on Ariel's ring finger, alternating with Ariel who also pinned the ring on Joel's ring finger.

The priest closes the marriage process with a solemn prayer. At the end of the prayer reading, the two of them faced each other again, stepped forward and kissed.

There was a pause of silence for a few moments until the rumbling sounds of applause and cheers of the guests who were witnesses to their wedding were heard. Also happy for their marriage.

Joel looked at Ariel's face with a loving look in his eyes, never tired of seeing the face of the bride in front of him who had officially become his wife.

The two of them turned to face the guests, conveying their gratitude before they joined the guests.

Some friends Joel and Ariel take turns to come forward to congratulate them and express their happiness as a friend in front of the guests.

It didn't last long until Joel and Ariel mingled with the guests. Talk lightly, joke and congratulate.

"Congratulations to your marriage,"

"I don't think he's getting married so soon. You tau? He never even talked much with any woman" he said.

"really?" welcome Ariel to laugh lightly.

"Shut up, Seth!" sahut Joel's.

"That means, brother Ariel a suitable partner considering that the brother is always fierce to any man who approaches including coach Gerry," Ken said.

"Kenn,, it looks like you're tired of working," Ariel blushed.

"It doesn't matter if you fire me, it means you will take care of those thirty people alone" Ken replied lightly.

Ariel grumbled to lose. They just laughed and continued to tease the newly married couple.

Without notice, the day had turned dark. Some guests say goodbye to go home, but many guests still choose to survive to enjoy the party.
