Simon's Bride

Simon's Bride
13. Uninvited Guest Part 2

Anna exhaled heavily when she arrived at her living room and saw Simon already sitting leisurely. Leon who came from behind Anna immediately approached his father and pointed towards the bag of food they had brought.

"Daddy, is the food taken back or is it here?" ask Leon.

"Let's just here Leon. Daddy doesn't fit if we eat at Mam Ann's desk in the back."

Anna nodded at Simon's words. Not because of Simon's remark that said indirectly that the kitchen was small, but because the conclusion that the father and son wanted to eat dinner in his cottage made Anna feel riled up.

Leon nodded his head towards his father, then looked towards the motionless Mam Ann, just looking at Leon and his father alternately.

"Mam, we'll have dinner with Mam. The food Daddy brought. So Mam doesn't have to cook for tonight."

"Wait a minute, Leon ... This .. can't. Why all of a sudden and why should I be here. Mr. Bernard ...." Anna stopped talking as Simon got up and turned around, stepping towards her. Under the illumination of his hut lamp, the figure of the man appeared tall and large. Simon's shadow extends even to the walls of the cottage.

Anna looked at Simon's eyes that seemed to sparkle with a challenging impression as well as a bit amused. While tidying his black hair with his fingers, Simon stopped one step in front of Anna. Making the teacher's mother have to look up so that she can continue to look at the man's face.

"You said I just needed to give my time, play with Leon and listen to what he wants. I did it exactly as you suggested, Ann .. and Leon's current wish is to enjoy dinner with his teacher's mother. So here we are ...."

Anna's head shook, the twitching on her forehead deepened, her lips were just about to say when Simon had stepped back.

"Come, Ann. We'll get the plates."

The speech made Anna follow Simon into the kitchen.

Anna intended to send the man home with her son. But the determined look in Simon's eyes made him undo the intention.

"It's free if you want to kick us out. You're just gonna make Leon sad. We better get the dishes ready, then have dinner without much debate."

"But, Mr. Bernard ...."

"Yes my. Simon, Ann. Call me Simon."

Seeing Anna clenching her lips tightly, Simon chuckled in amusement.

"Ann's plate..."

Anna moved with a force. Prepare the necessary tableware and bring it to the living room.

Simon was grateful that dinner finally went well. They ate three at Anna's table. Leon is in control of most of the conversation. Anna serves all of Leon's questions and is only willing to have a conversation with the boy. Simon knew Anna was ignoring him.

When the dinner was over, Anna busied herself with the tableware and cleaned it in the kitchen.

Following his instincts, Simon awakens and intends to catch up with Anna.

"Leon wait here. Dad helped Mam Ann out back then. Okay?"

Leon nodded with excitement. He stared at his father until he disappeared at the kitchen door.

"Is there anything I can help you with?"

The question made Anna glance, then she shook her head while continuing to do her job washing dishes.

Simon leaned against the wall, away from the door and was just a few steps behind Anna.

Feeling noticed from behind, Anna turned her head, finding the pair of eyes of the man watching her.

"Mrs. Bernard. Please just sit in front."

Simon answered with a shrug.

"Or just go home. It's not good to go home too late with a little kid." added Anna again.

"May I ask, Ann?"

Simon looked at Anna sharply. Made the woman finally turn off the water faucet. He turned to face Simon and sat down. His ass is leaning on the side of the sink.

"alright. Ask, then go home, Mr. Bernard." - Bernard."

Anna frowned, astonished by the question.

"You're having a hard time calling me Simon. That was the first step so we could be good friends."

"I don't need a friendship with you."

"Friends aren't done only when you need them, Ann ... Leon likes you. He wants to get to know you more familiar. It's just you, your words and the activities you're doing that he told me about when he got back home. You can be friends with Leon. Why not with me?"

"Leon is my disciple, Mr. Bernard." - Bernard."

"You mean, with Leon just a liability, right? With me there is no obligation. So there is no need to accept friendship or anything unnecessary? Wh why? Because you can live alone?"

"It's none of your business."

"really. But I'm really curious. Just as curious as Leon. Why do you think Leon was so pushy about coming here all night? Once enough to come here, you've made him want to know more about you. This cottage reflects a mystery to her."

"Keep Leon out of my personal life, Mr. Bernard"

"Tell him yourself. Shelove you. Favorite teacher. Just get rid of him now," challenge Simon.

Anna took a deep breath. Refuse to argue and turn back toward the sink, choosing to continue his job washing dishes.

Silence while in the kitchen until Anna finished then wiped her hands with a napkin.

"May I have a coffee?" ask Simon. He was still leaning in the same position.

Anna turned her head, the man's body language telling her that Simon would not move to go home until he decided for himself that it was time to leave.

"Sure" replied Anna.

"With a little sugar" said Simon.

"One spoon? Half spoon?" anna asked as she began to take a cup and make coffee.

"Half."

"It will still taste bitter with half sugar" Anna said.

"That's enough. My day is sweet enough, let alone plus a threesome dinner with a beautiful woman."

Simon's words made Anna look up. There was not a face of shame or a flattered expression even the slightest surprise on the face of the teacher's mother. His gaze was flat and even slightly disdainful towards Simon.

"Mrs. Bernard. You picked the wrong person. I don't like sweet talk, don't like seduction, don't like approach. Stop whatever is on your mind.

"What I thought .. was just curiosity over the life of a teacher mother that I thought was a bit strange. Approach? Yeah, just to pay for my curiosity. A seduction? Sweet talk? It wasn't seduction, Ann .. it was just a compliment to a friend. Because if it's seduction, you'll find your body's been surrounded by my arms from behind since the moment you started making coffee. If it's seduction, I won't say it from here, but right behind you and whisper it straight into your ear."

Simon was very satisfied. Anna's face flushed in embarrassment hearing her words. The woman threw away her face and busied herself with coffee. Another cup was prepared by Anna. The woman seemed to decide she also needed caffeine.

Half a grin Simon decided to leave Anna and wait for her coffee in the living room. Join Leon who has set a half-sleep position on the sofa.
