Simon's Bride

Simon's Bride
39. Slips

Simon put a pair of sandals to the floor near the bed.

"Wear this," she said while helping Anna get up.

A nurse came in with a wheelchair. "Ah, you're ready. Don't forget all the messages the doctor said, Miss Ann."

"good. Thank you for helping me so much" Anna told the nurse.

Simon helps Anna in a wheelchair and replaces the nurse. "Let me. Thank ye. We went home" he said goodbye.

Simon pushes Anna's wheelchair through the hospital hallways. Arriving at the elevator he entered and pressed the button towards the ground floor.

"Ann .. may I give an opinion on where you live ...."

Anna looked up, looking at Simon who was standing behind her wheelchair.

"Home residence? What's wrong with my cabin?"

"After yesterday's incident, don't you think that place is a bit remote?"

Anna was silent, looking at the closed elevator door.

"Mrs. Sanders found a place ... close to his house, also not too far from the school."

Simon is waiting for an answer. However, until they arrived and the elevator door opened, Anna did not say anything.

Simon pushed back in his wheelchair. They were silent until they arrived at the double door leading out. A black car approached. Stop right in front of Ann's wheelchair.

Before long, Bruno came out and opened the door. Anna got up and thanked Bruno before getting into the back of the car. After moving away from the wheelchair, Simon walked around the car and got into the side next to Anna.

"We go, Bruno ...."

"Yes, Mr Simon ... emm ... to the cottage house?" ask the man.

"Yes" replied Simon confidently. There was no response from Anna about the house she suggested telling her that the woman disagreed with the idea.

Anna glanced towards Simon, the man's face looking ordinary. No one was disappointed or offended because he did not answer or at least thanked her for her attention who had taken the trouble to think of finding a place for Anna. To be honest Anna herself felt gambled by her own feelings. In White Sand Bay, only her cottage home has she known for months, giving her a sense of security even with the thought that Martin is coming. The solitude and solitude of the place gave Anna a sense of peace, giving her strength even if Martin came, she readily accepted it in the cottage.

Anna held back all her questions about Martin. Simon also seemed to have no interest in conversing with Bruno driving.

When he arrived at the field to the path of Anna's house. Car stopped. Without waiting for the door to open, Simon came down and opened the door for Anna.

Anna was just about to incline down when Simon's half-body came in and both of his arms pulled Anna's body.

"Ap-" Anna's speech was cut off when she saw Simon's expression.

"Don't argue" Simon said in a soft voice.

"Thank you Bruno, I'll call you later!" simon told Bruno.

After a nod from Bruno, Simon stepped into the path. Anna held on to the man's shoulders and neck, looked up and found Simon's eyes staring judgmentally at every tree they passed.

"What are you thinking?" ask Anna.

"Please" Simon replied briefly.

"Tree? What's wrong with the tree?"

Simon exhaled, glancing at Anna's face which still looked pale.

"I count ... how many trees should I cut down if I want to spread this path."

Anna's eyes widened, yet they had already arrived. Simon climbed the steps, and the man slowly lowered Anna onto the floor.

"Wait, I open the door first" Simon said.

Before Simon lifted her up again, Anna immediately walked in when the door opened.

"Welcome .. I'm finally home" said Anna with a big smile.

Simon smiled back. "Sit down" he said. He himself went to the back, took a glass of drinking water, then came back and put it on the table. Anna was already sitting on her small long sofa.

"Now ask what you want to know" Simon said directly. He knew Anna would want to know about Martin.

Anna leaned back, tilting her body towards Simon who was sitting on the other side of the sofa.

"Tell me .. whether he .. has ...."

Simon saw Anna swallow. The woman seemed to have trouble speaking. Simon decides to start the story from the last Anna lost consciousness, was taken to the hospital, then also tells about Martin and his family without anyone missing a single one.

"So ..he's been buried," said Anna softly.

"Yes ...."

"The Andreas family ...."

"They asked to see you. But Claude and Alric have not given permission. The decision to meet them or not is your decision. So we wait for you to recover, then decide for yourself."

Anna changed her sitting position, this time looking at the ceiling of her living room.

"I will definitely meet them .. but not now .. later after I've been completely healed ...."

"Accept ...."

"As for the house you suggested, I'm sorry .. I should thank you .. but ...."

"Tell me if you refuse."

"I ... finally got rid of Martin. This place gave me a sense of security, even when Martin was alive ... now he is not .. What else can scare me? No ... So I chose to stay here .. sorry Simon."

Anna sees Simon pull out his phone, sending some messages to who. He reached out, reaching out to the glass of water Simon had placed on the table, because of his unstable grip, the drinking water spilled slightly on the floor.

Anna continued to drink the water in a glass, then put it back down. He saw the floor wet with water spills.

"This floor is very clean" he said.

"Hmm? Oh ... I had people clean it up. Don't be too tired. Your house is clean, there's nothing you need to do" Simon said without turning his eyes from his phone. He contacted Bruno, executing a second plan because the first plan to make Anna move had failed.

Anna gave a glance. The house looks very clean. He wondered how the kitchen was.

"I will take the mop, the floor is wet," Anna rose in haste, afraid Simon would forbid her to move. But his bandaged leg stepped on a little water, because it still hurt to be moved to the floor, but his legs were shaky, Anna slipped.

Simon reflex throws the phone over the sofa, then catches Anna's body before falling.

"God! You want to bang your head!" exclaim Simon. Her heart is beating, Ann's head will hit the table if she doesn't catch it right away.

Anna opened her eyes slowly, the wrinkles around her eyes slowly disappearing when she knew she had not fallen against the table or the floor.

"Hufhhh .. thank you. I slipped. I spilled water, the floor was clean and slippery. The water was stepped on by me" said Anna. He intended to get up, but Simon's arms were hugging him even tighter. Anna held Simon's arm and pushed him. But not off either. He finally looked back and met Simon's eyes, the man's face looking down at him.

Anna felt her heart pounding began to have problems, she threw a look because she felt unable to keep looking. Simon's eyes were unsettling.

He looked down at his half-body on the couch, his waist up in Simon's arms. His back was on the man's chest, Simon's arms wrapped around his chest. Anna began to feel her cheeks warm up. Simon caught him from behind when he slipped.

"I'm fine ... emm .. can you let go of your hand?" ask Anna.

"No. If I let go, you'll start moving as you please ...."

Anna frowned at Simon's hoarse-sounding voice in his ear. Then he felt the man looking down, feeling a kiss land on the top of his head.

"What ...."

"Stttt .. You're freaking me out!

You just got back from the hospital, but look what you did just now .. You almost banged your head."

"I'm not accidentally .. I promise to be more careful."

Anna thought Simon was going to let go of her hand, but he didn't.

"Simon .. your hand ...."

"Why? Let me hold you like this for a second."

"But ...."

"Why?"

"Emmm .. This feels uncomfortable ...."

"not comfortable? Okay ... Here," said Simon. He changed his position, easily pulling and lifting Anna up to a sitting position on his lap.

Simon saw Anna's pale face slightly colored, a reddish hue adorning the woman's cheeks. They stared, one pat from Anna's hand landing on Simon's chest.

"It's even more uncomfortable" Anna said.

Simon tightened his arms. Pulling Anna's body to lean on her chest.

"You're offending me a little. Leon likes my arms, my nephew also .. Then you said my arms were uncomfortable."

Anna laughed dryly. He felt a bit goosebumps as Simon's arms tightened around his body, making him forced to stick and lean into the man's chest. His heart rate is getting faster. Anna felt her breathing become somewhat congested.

"That's not what I mean .. really .. this ...." Anna was confused to explain how she really felt.

"This what? It uncomfortable? Making fret? Especially?" cecar Simon, deliberately pretended to be offended.

"This ... I .. ah, look .. I feel a little claustrophobic if you hold me. So feel uncomfortable. After all.Male and female are not good at hugging too long."

"Who said that?"

"I .. You'll hear me say it. Friends do not hug for long" said Anna with a small smile, trying to eliminate her awkwardness with a small joke.

Simon's eyes were shining. Anna's eyes widened as Simon's hand lifted and held his cheek. Anna's head was pushed to Simon's shoulder.

Simon's palm holding his cheek was cold on his warm skin. Anna started to panic as Simon started to look down.

"Friends can cuddle .. but it shouldn't be long, right? ... Then friends can also give the original kiss not long," whispered Simon with fingers began to move to hold Anna's chin.

"W-who said that? There can be no kissing between friends!" exclaimed Anna with widened eyes.

"I. You just heard me say it, right?" Simon turned back Anna's words while grinning. "But okay .. kisses are not allowed .. but kisses are allowed."

When the sentence ended, Simon brought his face closer. Her lips landed on Anna's lips. Anna was speechless with widened eyes feeling

the first touch of Simon's lips. Unknowingly his hand gripped the material of Simon's shirt, ripping the material until it shriveled and tangled.
