7. Leopard Mansion

Leon turned his head left and right. The small path they were going through led to a small wooden house. The shade of trees on the right left side of the road makes the air feel cool and cold.

"Mam Ann is alone here?" leon asked, tightening his hand held by Anna.

"Yes." Yeah."

"Not scared?"

"At what?"

"Entah ... wild beast? The bears? A wolf?"

Anna laughs. The boy's imagination seemed to have wandered everywhere due to the situation around his cottage.

"That's where Grandpa and Grandma are buried! There is a beautiful villa! Also waterfalls and huts like this!" Leon looked at the inside of Anna's humble cottage. There was only a small bright green guest chair, then a door to his room, and towards the back directly towards the kitchen which was only bounded by wood.

"But Mam's cottage is better! The hut there is nothing but all the equipment for the hunters!"

"The hunters!? What are they hunting there?"

Leon raised both his shoulders. "Do not know! Daddy Claude said sometimes they just come to hunt rabbits or deer! Some kind of picnic on your day off!"

Anna nodded, then placed her bag over the small sofa in the living room. Then he went to the kitchen.

"Come, wash your hands and sit on that chair" Anna pointed.

Leon said he washed his hands in the sink with Anna's help, then sat down on a chair on a small round table in the corner of the kitchen. The only seat there.

"Mam will cook. Leon's not a voter, is he? Mam can't cook a famous chef's dish. Just cook to eat and not starve. But Mam assures me, it won't be so bad."

Leon grinned when he saw Anna brandishing an egg at him and took out some things from inside the refrigerator.

"Leon loves eggs! Daddy's smart to make omelets!"

Anna took out an apron that was hung on the wall, then put it on in front of her body.

"Oh yeah? Is your Daddy's making good?"

Leon looked up, looking up at the ceiling, thinking of answering the question. Anna chuckled at his expression.

"You look a lot like your father ..," he said unknowingly.

Leon who heard this smiled immediately. "People say that too! He said I look like Daddy! Though Leon's eyes certainly follow Mommy Mary's and Mommy Catty's eye color!"

Anna frowned. The name Daddy seems not only pinned by Leon on one person, as well as Mommy.

"Say ... How many people does Leon call Daddy? And how much is Mommy?"

Anna shuffled the egg while continuing to converse, putting some slices of mushrooms and meat into the egg shuffle.

Leon raised his hand, then started counting with a finger.

"There's Daddy Simon ... Daddy Claude ... Daddy Alric, hmmmm .. and then there's Mommy Mary and Mommy Catty."

"Where is Leon's real father?"

Leon nodded enthusiastically.

"So? Which one's Mommy Leon's birth?" Anna asked again, he was very curious about the parents of this one student.

"Mommy Mary! But Mom and Dad aren't married! Mom Mary is married to Daddy Alric. Leon has two sisters! There's val and Aislin!"

So they divorced .. and Mary remarried ... Anna bathes.

"If Daddy Claude is Daddy Simon's older brother, there's Aunt Yoan and Uncle Vincent! All of Dad's sisters ...."

Anna prepared two wide plates. Put an omelette on it, then start preparing potatoes.

"If Mom Catty was Leon?

"Oh! Mom Catty Mommy Leon too! Mom Catty's sister Mom Mary, also Daddy's wife Claude."

Anna raised both eyebrows to hear the relationship Leon spoke with the names he had mentioned. The relationship between Mary and Catty means two brothers, as well as Claude and Simon. Then Mary married Simon and got Leon, while Catty's sister Mary married Claude Simon's brother ... Anna thought of the complicated-sounding relationship. They were fine when Simon finally divorced Mary.

Why call Claude and Catty Mom and Daddy? Though they are equal status with Joanna and Vincent ....

Anna did not continue her question when she saw Leon who seemed to be very hungry. Keep staring at the plate he prepared.

"OK .. we eat while warm .. wait for yes ... Mam prepare the sauce, the bread and also the drink ...."

Anna's approval made Leon's smile grow wide. He was eager to go to the Leopard Mansion to visit his two younger brothers Valencia and Aislin. His two younger siblings were only occasionally in White Sand Bay. Leon finds out they're leaving again and returns home to the main mansion of the Lucca family, which is far from the island.

Anna glanced at Leon's head that was nodding next to her. The boy seemed to be asleep. With a side of her hand, Anna let Leon's head lean against her. They were sitting on the bus, right behind the driver.

Moments later, Anna felt Leon move to the middle of her chest, then hugged her with his eyes still closed. To keep the boy's body from falling, Anna wrapped her hands around Leon's body.

"I've never seen you take a bus in this direction" said the driver in front of Anna.

"Oh," Anna was surprised to realize the driver was talking to her. "Yes .. I have never been here, "said Anna.

The driver nodded his head. "Because who live in the middle of the island very little .. people who travel by bus, I know well," said the driver.

"You and your child I've never seen before" the driver continued with a smile.

"Oh, I ...."

"Where's your stop?" ask the driver again.

Anna has clarified her relationship with Leon. Let alone the estimate of the driver who thinks they are mother and child. Reduce the words he needs to say to the driver.
