Simon's Bride

Simon's Bride
16. My Dear Emilia's

"Come on, Mam Ann. Just help Leon this once." Leon cupped his hands together in front of his chest, flickering his bright blue eyes a few times, pleading with a face that was clear. He wanted to go to the mall, buy presents for his cousins.

"Help friends excellent deeds, Mam. Didn't Mom say that?" Jessi is still waiting for an invitation to greet Leon.

Anna raised her eyebrows looking at Leon who turned her head towards Jessi and gave her two thumbs. The two children seem to be getting closer and closer. Jessi has also started talking to other friends in the class thanks to Leon.

"Your Daddy can help later. He's gonna pick up Leon, isn't he?"

"No, Mam. That's problem! Dad's got a job."

Anna exhaled a long breath. Yesterday he was able to escape from the father and son. He had to go with his partner after school. Today he hopes he can go home alone without being followed. The incident of the flower pot that fell still made Ann worried.

"Nanny Lea can pick it up for Leon." Anna answered practically, grinning at Leonard. He wanted to know especially the reason that the boy was going to put forward.

Leon insisted on taking him to the mall near the dock. The reason was that he needed help choosing gifts for his cousins. A few more moments were the time of Bernard's family's regular visit to the Green Forest. A place where Leonard's grandparents were buried. They go there every year on the same date.

"Uncle Bruno's gonna pick up Leon, Mom. Uncle Seth and Nanny Lea are on leave. Reportedly, Uncle Seth visited Nanny Lea's family and would propose to her."

Leon's waiting. Anna's reaction was simply shaking her head.

"Oh, come on, Mom! Daddy lent Leon his card!"

Anna belittles. "What card?"

"So morning Leon took Dad, but Dad was busy. Dad lends this card and tells Leon to ask only Mam Ann to accompany him." Leon took out a card from his bag.

Anna gritted her teeth.

You sly man!

"Leon isn't good at picking out gifts for girls ... Or are you the one who's coming, Jess?"

ask Leon about his friend.

Jessi shook her head. "Sorry Leon, but I have an appointment with my mother."

Leon exhaled a languid breath with a disappointed face.

"Oh, okay! Jeez ...." Anna nosed Leon's nose. "You're ugly when you pout!"

Leon's smile instantly burst out. "Thank you, Mama!" his yell. They all turned their heads, when a black car stopped at the school gate.

"Come, Mam. Uncle Bruno has arrived. Drug Jessi! I'm ahead."

Jessi nodded, then smiled widely when she saw her mother had also arrived at the school gate.

The prizes that Leonard chose were very diverse. Hair tie, petite bando, clasp, ribbon. All are the same color and with the same model.

"Your cousins are twins?" ask Anna. He chose his model. Color is definitely Leon who chose. Everything should be pink.

"No. Jojo was born a few months earlier to Lex. Jojo's Aunt Yoan's son Lex is Mom Catty's son."

Anna nodded. Know that it was the name of Simon's brother and sister-in-law.

"Jojo and Lex ...." Anna repeated the name, "they're girls, right" Anna said unsure.

Leon nodded, then grinned. "Jojo is Joice, if Lex stands for Alexa." Leonard suddenly breaks down, "Daddy Claude and Uncle Vincent will protest if Leon calls them Jojo and Lex. But Jojo and Lex like it."

Anna smiled as she looked at Leon who was still laughing as he pulled his hand towards the girls swimsuit section.

"Well. Now help me pick out clothes for them. We will bathe in the waterfall the water is very clear, there is in the valley below the Green Forest. Leon will definitely be billed a gift of clothes for swimming."

A hunch made Anna stop choosing. He immediately turned around and looked back, circulating his gaze around the location where he was standing. The feeling of being watched made his heart flutter erratically. Once again, Anna examined one after another the figure that seemed to be shopping, then extended her neck to the left and right to see the figure behind the shelf shelf in the place.

"That's good."

The voice made Anna look quickly. Simon Bernard was in front of Leon, showing a pair of blue trousers.

"But the color ...." Leon squinted at the blue pants.

"Dad really likes the color. If it could be for Daddy, Dad would take that one."

Simon glanced at Anna, a mischievous wink he immediately gave. Unaware of Ann's originally tense face becoming rumbled after seeing her figure.

Anna was very sure his intuition was not wrong. he was supervised, but now he was relieved because it must be Simon who settles.

"It won't fit for Daddy!"

"Oh yeah?"

"Yes! Got a big Dad!" leon said as he threw the pants. The boy chose the red one again. He did not realize his grinning father with a face that was holding back laughter because of his words, nor did he realize that his teacher's mother was trying to hold his face flat with no expression. The unsuccessful attempt was of course, as the red hue that ran down Anna's face told her that she heard exactly what Leon had said and understood what he meant.

"Where do you know we're here?" Anna tried to shake off her awkwardness. Simon would not let go.

"Leonard Bernard ... Did you peek at Daddy?" simon said to his son who focused on his red swimsuits.

"Of course not! We changed both of those times! So Leon has seen!"

Anna now turned around, holding the temple and rubbing softly while staring at the people who were shopping. He needed to hide his face from Simon who was now laughing out loud. Feeling that he had succeeded in pranking the teacher who had become his friend.

"Why is Daddy laughing?" ask Leon.

"none. How big is Daddy?" ask Simon in his laughter.

Anna turned around, with an annoyed face she glared and trailed her waist. One hand pointed toward Simon.

"Because you've come, I want to go home!" says annoyed.

Anna had just moved a step when Simon had already caught her hand.

"I'm sorry, I'm really sorry. Okay .. come on, don't sulk, Ann."

Anna exhaled a long breath. Still with a red face he shook his head repeatedly.

In the distance, behind a pile of discounted clothes for the children, a man in a hodie jacket covering his head peered towards Simon, Anna and Leon. His eyes glittered, a grin triumphantly adorning his lips.

Already have a new life apparently. It's amazing, my dear Emilli.
