Simon's Bride

Simon's Bride
35. Wake up

Leon woke up, looking at the sofa in the room. He sees Aunt Joanna sleeping in Uncle Vincent's arms. Both were closed with both feet stuck to the floor.

Slowly Leon got up. He wanted to see his teacher's mother, but everyone always said later. Her teacher's mother was in need of rest and not to be disturbed.

With great care Leonard got out of bed. He looked for room sandals and put them on. His two eyes occasionally glanced at his sleeping Uncle and Aunt.

Leon stepped silently, opening the door very slowly. He grinned when he glanced and found his uncle and aunt still asleep.

Arriving in the hospital hallway, Leon walked down the road to Mam Anna's care. She heard that Mommy Catty and Mommy Mary were talking about their teacher's mother. He knew his teacher's mother was still unconscious.

Leon crept around as he passed the nurse counter, hiding and walking quickly to avoid being seen. He smiled as he arrived in the hallway and found Uncle Bruno sitting in a long chair near a treatment room door. The eyes of his father's bodyguard were tightly closed, his hands were crossed with legs stretched out on the floor.

Leon passed Bruno, paused for a moment and waved his hand in front of the man's face. He grinned when there was no response.

Slowly Leon pushed the door of the treatment room.

Bruno had actually seen when Leon came from the end of the hall. He is awake and not sleeping. Mr. Simon tells her that Leon can't wait to see Anna. I don't know when they can hold the boy. Bruno decided to pretend to sleep and let the little master into the care room of his teacher's mother. If he forbade and drove the boy back to his room, Bruno was sure the little boy would make a fuss. At least he would cry and wake up his father who had just fallen asleep.

Leon who had entered stood in front of the door for a moment. Look up at the bed. Seeing Mam Anna sleeping with various hoses connected to her body. Leon circled his gaze around the entire room. Near the bed, on a sofa against the wall, his father fell asleep on a long sofa. The blanket her father used had already sagged to the floor.

Leon walked closer. Raise the dropped blanket to the floor, then put the blanket back into his father's body, enveloping up to the chest. Leon wanted to kiss his father on the cheek, but did not, for fear that his father would wake up.

Then he approached Anna's bed. He stood beside the bed, holding the hand of his teacher's mother who was palpably warm. Leon just realized his hands were very cold. A walk outside in sleeping pajamas makes his skin cool.

Seeing that the mattress beside Anna was still sleeping, Leon climbed up slowly and laid his body carefully beside Mam Anna's body.

"Mam Ann is warm" whispered Leon. He held Anna's arm.

"Why isn't Mom awake? Leon's coming home from here ... Mama's healing fast, so we can go home together."

Leon looked up, staring at Anna's face from the bed. He touched the forehead and cheeks of his teacher's mother. Feeling warm lying next to Anna made the boy yawn wide.

"Leon can sleep here huh, Mam ...."

The drowsiness finally caused Leonard to fall into a deep sleep beside Anna.

Simon awoke when he heard the footsteps of the man running from the hallway outside the room. He had just stretched his body, then sat down and intended to get up when the door of the ward room opened.

The appearance of Joanna at the door made her forehead wrinkle.

Simon's mouth had just opened to ask why Joanna had come, when with her finger Joanna signaled to keep Simon quiet. Her brother placed his index finger on her lips, with the other hand pointing towards the bed.

Simon turned to look at the sight of Leon sleeping beside Anna. Half of the boy's body covered Anna's side.

"Gosh ... when did he get in here?" hiss Simon.

Joanna closes the door, letting Vincent talk to Bruno outside. He approached Simon's sofa, then sat at the end of the sofa with his eyes fixed on the bed.

"We woke up and were surprised to see his bed empty .. apparently he came here," said Joanna softly.

"Leon has been asking since yesterday to see Ann ...."

Just then, Simon and Yoan saw Anna's hand move, and the woman's eyelids moved as well. Simon and Joan immediately got up, coming to the side of the bed.

When Anna's eyelids opened, she blinked repeatedly. Simon and Joanna exhaled a sigh of relief.

Joanna pat Simon on the shoulder. "I'll call the doctor" he said with a smile.

Simon nodded. Letting Joanna go, she waited for Anna's confused eyes to look at her.

"Hey ... You're finally awake" said Simon.

Anna swallowed, her lips feeling dry. His body feels very sick. But his body feels squeezed. He looked down and found Leon next to him.

Anna's mouth opened, wanting to call out Leon's name. But no sound came out, his throat felt very dry and sore.

"He moved here himself. Wait, I'll move it."

Just now Simon was moving to move his son. Leon opened his eyes, looking at his father's lowered face with both hands holding his body.

"Reg ... "

"Leon moved on first, okay. Mam Ann is awake. So it has to be checked first."

Leon immediately turned his head, seeing that the two soft green eyes of his teacher's mother had indeed opened.

The one big smile that was present on Leon's face seemed to rub off on Anna. Simon sees the woman smiling back, the two look at each other until the door opens and Joanna enters with the nurse and the doctor.

"Okay, we're out first?" take Simon to Leon.

Leon nodded, but before he approached Anna and looked down at her mother's face. Leon kissed Anna on the cheek before reaching out both hands towards his father to ask to be carried.

Joanna felt a little astonished as Leon kissed her teacher's mother's cheek and Simon waited at the side of the bed with a gentle face staring towards the two. For a long time he had not seen such a flash of eye light in his sister's eyes. He felt like he was looking at a small family ...

What the fuck is that look? Ck ck ... Simon Bernard ... has not looked at a woman with that gaze for years. Something moving at the bottom of your heart now, boy?

Joanna stared fixedly at Simon's smiling face, her arms holding Leon. Then he grinned inwardly as the two boys father and son stared in unison at Anna. If she could have thought, it was a relief to see Anna finally awake, but also a loving gaze .. and for Simon, Joanna bet a glint of adoration flashed past.

Since when? Joanna really wanted to know the answer.
