21. Caught

"Leon, come. Run faster." Anna slowed down her footsteps when she felt Leon's steps slowing down. He turned his head, the darkness around him did not give any vision, only black was visible.

They really run in the dark. I don't know how many twigs have scratched their bodies.

Anna crouched down, groping Leonard's body. I could only hear the hunting breath of the boy.

Martin stabs, and Leon's body twitches. The tears had already descended down the slope of the boy's cheek. Never imagined in his life would experience such terrible things as what he read in picture story books. It's just that in the book the villain is a witch, whereas this is a human.

"Stop! Okay, Martin. Alright!" Anna fell down. His body was limp and tears of frustration poured down his cheeks. Imagining Leonard's neck hollowed with wood made his heart seem to stop.

"You never kill people to get your will, Martin," Anna said. Looking anxiously at Leon.

"Take him off Martin. I'll follow all your orders."

"Everything!?'

"Yes. Everybody!'

"Including all the plans I've had with Gery?"

Anna closed her eyes, disgusted at the figure of the name Martin had just mentioned.

"Yes." Yeah."

"You'll do it until my wish is fulfilled?" ask again.

"Yes." Yeah."

"Then stand up! Follow me!"

Anna rose up with all her might, ignoring her limp body. He stared for a moment at the cottage.

"Road!" martin's orders.

Anna goes first, with Martin accompanying Leonard.

They arrived at the field where Martin parked his car. After locking Leon in the back of the car, the man picked up the rope and started tying Anna's wrist behind his back. Afterwards he told Anna to go forward next to the wheel. After putting a seatbelt on Anna's body, he walked around the car and got behind the wheel.

"We're leaving. Andreas' private plane is waiting. We'll be faster to circle the island by motorized ship. I've rented one. Forty minutes we arrive at the runway. You know why I borrowed that iron bird? I said I'd take my wife on a honeymoon for the umpteenth time so I could quickly give them a grandchild!" Martin laughed full of falsehood, no fun or excitement at all. Anna shuddered. He looked back, finding Leonard sitting curled up in the backseat toward the locked car door.

Anna's heart melos. The only son of Simon Bernard, raised with sufficiency and protection. Today because of Anna, experiencing the most gripping and terrible thing possible for the first time in her life.

Anna hopes Leonard's perceived terror soon ends when she finally leaves with Martin.

"Leon, did you hear Mam, honey?"

Leon moved when he heard Anna's voice.

"Hu uh," he replied while nodding, his blue eyes staring at Anna's back-strewn hands. He knew that his teacher's mother was tied up.

"Everything will be fine. Mama promised. In a minute, Leon's gonna meet Daddy. Okay?"

"Yes ..," Leon replied in a hoarse voice.

A loud snort sounded from Martin.

"Your fault has this one teacher, boy! You're getting involved with his business!" tease Martin while increasing the speed of their vehicle towards the dock.

The story of the next chapter about Leon and Ann who were taken away by a motorized ship.
