Leon watched closely the wrinkles that formed between the eyebrows of his teacher's mother. Mam Ann was cleaning Leonard's mouth with a tissue. Dinner they just finished. Every time Leon saw his teacher's mother frowning and rubbing the temple.

"Is it really painful, Mama?" ask Leon.

"Mam seems to need some sleep, Leon. Mama was asleep for half an hour."

"Want to take medicine? Or is she just sleeping again?" Leon looked at Anna with a worried face.

"Medicine seems good .. The pain will not go away if you do not take medicine. But sleep later, soon ...."

Leon nodded. As Anna moves to take the painkilling tablet, Leon pours a glass of water and gives it to Anna.

Anna swallowed the tablet, then leaned back against the back of the sofa. Leon took out a small apple-shaped pillow and placed it on Anna's left side. He himself sat on the right side.

"Dad promised to pick up Mam."

Leon nodded, believing that he had seen for himself Anna's situation.

"Mom, sleep ...."

Anna who closed her eyes shook slowly. "No. Mam is not sleepy. Let's just have a chat. Come on, tell me about tomorrow's show. Who will be there?"

"Mmc ... Grandpa Hamilton, Daddy, Leon and Uncle Bruno are leaving here. Later in Green Forest all the families will gather."

"But Leon's here to see Mam. So it's impossible Mam sleep .. ah, Mam there buy some picture story books, have not had time to read. Wanna read it?" Anna recalled some of the books that were on her bedroom table. He could keep the boy busy with reading.

"could. Where's the book, Mam?" Leonard nodded.

"On the room table. Leon can take it all."

"Then, we read it in the room. Mommy can lie down and rest."

Feeling her head start to weigh, Anna agrees to Leon's proposal. They immediately moved into the room. Anna put together a pillow and started leaning in a comfortable position. He also arranged a pillow for Leon next to him.

Leon lifts a set of picture storybooks from Anna's table and takes them to the bed. He set up a position leaning next to Anna

"Start reading, Leon."

"Yes, Mama. The picture's great." Leon started to open page by page. Reading in a slow and sometimes flattened voice. He also sometimes stops when he is staring at the picture that attracts his attention. He looked down and noticed the details of the picture, stroking with a happy expression of the book sheet, before returning to reading.

The first book is finished. Excited and curious, Leon chose again. Anna saw the boy liked the books he had. More casually Anna positioned her body to relax and closed her eyes.

"Don't go anywhere, Okay. If Mam is asleep and your father has arrived, wake Mam to open the door. Don't open it if it's not your father" whispered Anna.

Leon nodded, and Anna began to hear the boy return to reading.

After the second book is finished, Leon realizes his teacher's mother is already asleep. Leon closed the book and picked up the third book. The stack of books turned out to be a series, an adventure story that was very popular with Leon. Since Mam Anna was already sleeping, Leon only read inwardly.

"Daddy?"

The voices that Leon heard stopped. The person on the porch waited in silence.

"Dad?" ask Leon again.

Leon heard the sound of someone thumping outside the cottage.

"Anna? You're home?" ask the person outside the cottage.

Leon glanced towards the frame of his teacher's mother's room door.

"Anna, someone sent this to my cabin. Turns out this was sent for you."

"Whose uncle?"

"Neighbor's uncle Mam Anna. Can you open the door?"

"Leon will wake up first."

Leon was just about to turn around when the man spoke again.

"Oh, no. Don't wake her when she's asleep. Just open the window, Uncle will enter this post through the window."

Leon hesitated for a moment, looking again at the door of the room. He looked up and saw the doorstop was quite high, he had to find a chair if he wanted to open it.

Leon saw the window, the window was small, the hole was fitted with some wood that was barred across, but it could be passed. Of course, it depends on what objects will be inserted through the hole. An apple-sized object can come in. Imagining apples because he saw the picture of the fruit he just read, without suspecting Leonard opened the window lock.

Just as Leon was about to push the shutters, someone had already pulled the window from outside.

An adult's hand slipped in. Caught Leon's upper arm and pulled him firmly until the boy came forward and hit the wood on his head. A scream of pain came straight out of Leon's mouth.

"really. Yell out. I'd rather wake up your teacher this way. I'm lucky you're here. Does your father exist too? What a great coincidence if your father is there too."

Leonard was wide-eyed, staring at a man who was grinning wide outside the window. The man was wearing a black coat. The man's head was covered by a hood from his coat. His glittering eyes reminded Leon of the witch in the book Mam Ann he had just read.

Anna's eyes immediately opened when she heard the sound of screaming. He looked over and found Leon not on the bed. As fast as lightning he jumped and ran out.

"Le ...!" Anna's voice stopped. He clamped, his hands directly holding on to the frame of the room door.

"Martin ..," whispered Anna as she saw one more hand outstretched from the outside. Holding Leonard's upper body very firmly. Holding the boy towards the wood in the window hole.
