30. Ambush

John recognized Claude Bernard as soon as the man jumped down from the helicopter. The face of Simon's older brother looked crumpled. He wore a wide black coat that covered up to his knees. He moved quickly closer to Hamilton.

"Uncle," said Claude.

"Where's Vincent?" ask Hamilton.

Claude automatically looked up, then squinted at the heli flying away.

"He wants to go around" he said short. Then he glanced at a man who had also just descended from the heli that landed together with Claude. The man who immediately patted Jhon's shoulder from behind and made him very surprised.

"Is that you called Jhon?" ask the man.

Hamilton, who recognized the man, reached out with his hand.

"Alric, you came ...." Hamilton guessed it was Claude who contacted Alric.

"Of course, Uncle Hamilton. This concerns Leonard, thankfully Joanna told me. I am not calm if I don't see the situation directly" Alric said as he welcomed Hamilton's hand.

"Jhon .. tell me everything again. From the beginning" Claude told Jhon.

"Mam doesn't want to throw up any more near where we rest."

"Vomiting? Why ...."

Unfinished Leon asked, Simon pulled back his son's head.

"Sleep Leon. We need energy to walk again. Let's just wait for morning, so don't count in the dark."

"Yes, Dad. Mam ... here, near Leon," said Leon with one hand outstretched toward Anna.

"alright. Mama sat there again. But Leon's got to go to bed, in the morning. You just took a little nap."

Anna sat down beside Simon, smiling at Leon who was looking at him with satisfaction because Anna was obedient to sit near the boy and his father.

Anna took a deep breath. He really did not want to discuss the reason why he vomited.

"It's okay" he answered briefly. Hope Leon ends. But as per his estimation, Leon would not stop before getting an answer that satisfied him.

"That vomit must be the cause, right, Dad?"

Simon leaned against the tree trunk behind him. Looks relaxed and closes eyes.

Leon looked up, scratching his father's soft palpable jaw rough because of the new fine fur feathers growing on the jaw.

"Daddy hasn't slept yet."

Anna smiled seeing Simon forced to reopen both eyes.

"You want Daddy to answer?" Simon thought about what kind of answer would make Leon stop asking questions.

Leon nodded.

Simon looked up, looking at Anna. Seriously he spoke.

"Mam Ann isn't vomiting. He just needs to go to the toilet. So he went behind the tree there."

"Ohhh ....." Leon immediately stopped talking. Leaning against her father's chest, closed her eyes with her face facing towards Anna.

"You" Anna sizzled as she slapped Simon on the shoulder.

Simon grinned. Ann's face finally returned to normal. He even seemed embarrassed by his deliberate remarks about the toilet. Anna dodged to the back of the tree as she continuously vomited out her entrails. Simon was worried to see his pale face. The conversation about Martin seems to be very heavy. He had to stop him getting there. It's about having offspring. However, broadly speaking he has been able to conclude how the woman's life so far.

"Not curious anymore? Why stop asking?" simon asked in a amused tone to Leon.

"Yes." Yeah." Simon smiled, looking at Anna who pursed his lips. He sighed at the woman's shoulder, hugging her again like the first time Anna started telling stories.

"Place down the jacket, Ann" said Simon.

Anna immediately puts Simon's parka jacket back on their bodies. Then they looked at Leon.

"You see .. he stopped asking when I offended the toilet."

"Stop talking about the toilet."

Leon opened his eyes, moving sitting on his father's lap.

"What's wrong? Why not sleep?" ask Simon for wonder.

"Because Daddy talked about the toilet, Leon's gonna pee."

"Here, Mam befriend. Behind that tree alone" pointed Anna.

"Why not on that tree?"show Leon.

"That's Mam Ann's ex" Simon chuckled to find Anna glaring at him. He was just about to get up, but Anna stopped.

"I don't want to wait in the dark alone. You're here, I'm accompanying Leon. We brought the flashlight." Anna stood up, held Leon's hand and took him away.

"We won't be long" he said with a smile.

Simon stared at every light in the dark. The light bias is seen from behind the tree where Anna and Leon are. Until the light reflected a large body shadow that ambushed the two.

Unknowingly Simon curses, he jumps up, gets up and runs towards Anna and Leon.

"Stop! Bajinggan!" simon's screams blared.
