Miles' heart was pounding so fast. Kirana sat by his side, making him so happy. He refrained from touching her. The time will come. They were in the car to the hotel. He had not known that they would stay in the same hotel and room as they spent their first nights together. Gregory insisted that he stay in the suite where he usually stayed every time he visited Singapore.
Two nights was enough time for him to launch his plan. Since the woman did not want to marry him, she would use other alternatives to persuade him to say yes. She doesn't know Kirana's monthly cycle, but she still has plenty of time to use another chance if her plan fails.
Yes, that was her plan, getting her pregnant. She could run away from him, refused to be with him, unwilling to accept his proposal, but not while she was pregnant. She would say yes and agree to marry him once she knew that she was pregnant with her child. Their boy. And they won't just have a child, it would be nice to have two or three children between them.
But what if she still refuses even though she is pregnant with her child? Ah, he'll think about that later. He'll find a way to change his mind. They met again after the painful years had passed, he would not waste the opportunity to be with her. The woman is only his.
On the plane, Kirana protested loudly as they sat next to each other on a first-class flight. Kirana grumbled every time she could not help her sense of regret. Miles just laughed. The flight that feels long to Kirana, it feels short for him. He could already imagine the woman's anger later when he found out that they were living in the same room.
When they arrive at the hotel and receive a suite entrance card, Miles smiles triumphantly. They only receive one card, not two. Kirana's face flushed red as her anger peaked. But the woman was smart enough not to express her protest in front of the receptionist. Miles thanked her and took the woman's hand to the elevator.
“You said I got my own room. Why am I even one room with you now?” kirana protested as slowly as possible as they waited in front of the elevator.
“Because if I say so at the beginning, you won't want to come.” Elevator door opens. Miles in.
“So, all this is just a trap? The seminar didn't really exist?” Kirana remained standing in her place. Miles pulls his hand to get him into the elevator. He scanned the card, pressed down on the destination floor, then waited until the elevator door closed. As soon as Miles' grip loosened, Kirana immediately brushed off the man's hand.
“Oh, I'm not lying. Seminar exists. It starts tomorrow morning in the hall of this hotel. But if you have other plans and want to miss the show, I don't mind. Especially when the plan involves me too.” Miles blinked one eye.
“Miles,” protest Kirana again.
“Juliett,” cut Miles. “Remember with our deal? What happened in Singapore remains in Singapore. Now we're here. Stop thinking. You will be tired yourself if you continue to deny the interest between us.”
“No. That was our deal six years ago, not now. And I don't see any interest between us. At least, I'm not interested in you.” Kirana said firmly. Miles laughed a little.
“I'm willing to make a new deal. Like six years ago, I will obey and obey you. But the deal this time should involve a wedding.” Miles approached. Kirana could not go anywhere in that limited space. When he was cornered, Miles smiled in satisfaction. “I won't let you go again.”
“You're not fair, Miles.” He stopped moving as the man's hands wrapped around his body. “You lied to me six years ago saying you were single. Now you hope that I will forgive you and continue this relationship? Our deal six years ago was based on trust, Miles. After you lied about the seats on the plane and our room, I couldn't trust you. Without a trust, I can't make a new deal with you.”
“This is how you persuade other women? How many fall in your charm? Don't lie by saying no because I won't believe it. You seem to be shrewd in seducing women.” spray Kirana sharp.
“After my wife's death, you're the only other woman I've ever slept with, Kirana. You believe it or not, it's a fact.” I'm Miles honest.
“Where can I be sure you won't do the same with another girl when I'm not around? You must have been used to doing this with women before and after me.” Kirana said again. Miles just looked at him with a smile. “You see? I don't trust you. There will be no advanced deal.”
“What should I do to earn your trust again?” ask again.
“Let me have my own room. Don't touch me again. Then I'll believe everything you say.” challenge Kirana. Miles laughed a little. He knew that this woman would say that.
“No. You are avoiding me. It was not an option I offered.” he said amusedly. Kirana growled softly and looked at him sharply as she could not escape from his embrace.
“I'm not trying to avoid you. How could? We stay at the same hotel.”
“Well, then, staying in the same room should not be a big deal.” Miles concluded.
“I know the first thing you will do once we are in that room. You're gonna take me to bed! You think by forcing me to sleep with you, all our memories will come back and I'll just marry you? Stop dreaming, Miles. Build.”
“If what happened during our time together in this place will not change your stance to marry me, why are you afraid? Isn't that what we did before? Just body relations? No private conversations, no commitments.” Miles challenged back. “Why should this time be different? No one knows us here.”
“I,” Greeting Kirana was cut off because the elevator door was open. They arrived at the destination floor.
Not wanting to give Kirana the time to debate him, Miles clasped his hands towards their suite room. As soon as he locked the door and the lights had lit up, the woman tried to get away from him. Miles managed to hug her again without needing much effort. Knowing what Kirana liked, it was not difficult for her to take the woman to bed.
And he managed to start his plan.
