The Unforgettable Story
Section 78

An hour later they arrived at Kirana's house. Miles pulled over and stopped his truck in front of the fence. He got out of the car and helped Kirana get down first. Then he helped William to remove his seatbelt and get out of the truck.

The two of them joined hands to enter the house. Kirana is not everywhere. William ran up the stairs and went upstairs. Maybe he went to his bedroom. Miles checked the house. Small and comfortable. He loved how the woman decorated the walls with photos and paintings.

Kirana came from behind the house. Kitchen, guess Miles. He carried a tray with three mugs and a plate neatly placed on it. The tray was placed on the table, then he gave a mug to Miles. Die frowned. Black coffee.

“You store ground coffee in the kitchen?” tanyanya's confused.

“Of course. That's for our guests. William and I don't drink coffee.” Kirana inhaled the contents in the mug she was holding. That must be warm chocolate. He really likes that drink. Miles sat by his side. William came down the stairs and cheered happily towards the front of the house. Miles laughing.

“Honey, don't get out of the fence!” Kirana warned.

“I know, Mom!” answer William. “And my name is Will!” Miles laughed at the last sentence. He turned his head towards Kirana who looked worried.

“Quiet. He'll be fine.” Miles squeezed his knee. “I'm sure he won't come out without telling you.”

“I know. But I have to remind him of everything. Kids love to break or forget rules when we don't keep reminding them.” Kirana rolled her eyeballs. Miles took the mug out of Kirana's hand and placed it on the table. The woman frowned confusedly.

“We're alone now.” Miles rolled his eyes. Kirana's laughter exploded. He stopped laughing as Miles stroked his cheek and closed his eyes as the man approached. “I love you, Kirana.”

They finally kissed. First just a short kiss. Miles changed their position to deepen his kiss. And a loud shout suddenly stopped them. Miles turned his head and listened. The scream stopped but his heart beat rapidly. He ran towards the terrace.

“William?” call him. There was no William on the terrace. He looked around and saw two men holding a rebellious boy. They forced him into the car. “Hei! Just stop! Release the boy!”

“My boy!” shout Kirana. The kind of scream that sliced Miles' heart so deeply. The man did not stop trying and eventually managed to get William into the car. It can't be real.

“Oh, no!” Miles panic. He framed Kirana's face with his hands. “Sweetheart, listen, Contact the police. I'll go after them. I'll bring our son back. Okay well? Quick phone cop.”

As he nodded his head, Miles immediately ran to his car. As soon as he sat behind the steering wheel, he started the car. He opened the window while putting his seatbelt on. “Log in the house and lock the door. Don't let anyone in but me. Are you listening to me?”

“Iya! Go!” shouted urgently.

Miles stepped on the gas and drove his truck. He followed the direction in which they went but he lost them. The black SUV is no longer visible. From the way people look in one direction in front of them, he believes that's where the car went. The driver drove quickly to avoid anyone following them. Miles pulled the phone out of his shirt pocket.

“Sial, Al. You can't tell me to do what you want when you only give me one clue. You didn't even greet me first!” Luke scolded her. “I'm trying to find you. Okay. What do you do by driving your own car? Where is Mark?”

“We don't have time to chat now.” Miles turned his car into the highway. He's starting to worry. “You have found the SUV I asked for, not yet? I want you not to take your eyes off her.”

“Why are you suddenly interested in a car? You have a better car.” Miles could imagine Luke rolling his eyeballs.

“My son is in it.” Miles hears Luke breathing in surprise at his confession. “I don't know what happened but someone tried to take my son from me. Okay?”

“Putra? Your son? Are you kidding me? Since when do you have a son?” luke asked confusedly. “Angelica has been dead for, how many, five years? And suddenly you have a son, Al?”

“I told you, we don't have time to chat. Follow that car!” Miles repeated his orders. Frustrated, he searched for the SUV and did not find it.

“I'm looking for him! Stop yelling at me! What the hell is going on?” exacting.

“Stay looking for the SUV is fine. I'll tell you. I was at my lady's house and our son was playing on the porch. I heard her screams, ran to the porch, and there were two men trying to push her into the car. I gotta get it back, Luke. I can't lose him. Not now, or anytime.”

“OK, friend. Calm. I'm following him, okay. You have taken the right path. Just keep going forward. I'll tell you when or where you go next.” Luke tried to calm him down. “But, can you change your vehicle? You need a vehicle that can get through traffic. You'll lose him.”

Nah! He can't lose her. After what happened in her life, she finally found happiness. He is reunited with his love and his son. He can't lose anyone anymore. What the hell is going on? Who would want to kidnap his son? Andwhy?

“Come, find a shortcut. I'm not gonna stop and change vehicles now. It was not the best choice.” Miles refused. He heard Luka typing something. He waited patiently.

“OK. Turn left at the next crossroad. They stop.” He sighed softly.

Miles complied and saw the car was not far from him. His heart was beating fast. What are they doing? Seeing the car parked on the front and back of the SUV, Miles decided to stop by his side. They won't be able to move anywhere.

He immediately jumped out of his truck and approached the SUV. From the glass of her window, she saw a man sitting beside her son. He did not see any weapons in the man's hands or on the floor. Without wasting any more time, he asked for help and people came to him. Miles pointed to the car window.

It didn't take long, they freed his son and tied the man to the car. The police arrived a few minutes later. The man confessed that two of his friends had gone to the store to buy food. They must have fled somewhere after seeing people trying to catch their comrades.

They've been following Miles for the past two days. As a result, they had not had a chance to eat anything since this morning. They argue whether to go ahead or buy food. They thought no one was following them because they were already far away from the scene of the abduction. The people around them also did not look at them suspiciously. Miles was relieved they chose the second option. Because it saved his son.
