A comfortable silence filled the car. Kirana enjoys the scenery around her as Miles drives a car. And her conversation with her brother slowly vanished from her head. Miles's right. Ratri was not worthy even for a single tear. He ignored her, went abroad to live with his family and enjoy his life. It's time for Kirana to enjoy her dream life as well.
She accidentally doesn't tell her brother that she doesn't need Miles' money or his possessions. He had enough money to live a luxurious life, he just thought that it was not money that would make him happy. He did not want to live his life by spoiling his parents' inheritance money. She has to work hard on her own ability to meet the needs of her life and her child.
Now she understood the reason her parents had not bequeathed anything to her brother. They knew that he would not keep their relics as they had hoped. She could have made an impulsive decision that could have ruined her life or her marriage. He likes to make people jealous of his life. It would be easy to do if he had a lot of money. He could've left Brian and been looking for a better man.
Fifteen minutes later, Miles pulled his car over to a parking lot. Kirana looked around. They're in a coffee shop. There were a lot of cars parked on their side. Miles shuts down the engine and pulls the key from the starter. He was the first to get out and help his wife out of the car. They entered the shop hand in hand.
“What's special about this place?” kirana asked puzzledly as Miles held back the door handle.
“You have to find out for yourself.” replied the mysterious Miles.
The shop was not much different from the coffee shop he usually went to while still alone. There's nothing special in it. When they order a drink, Miles asks her to trust him. Kirana laughs amusedly as Miles orders warm chocolate and black coffee. Drinks have become their habit.
“It's not something special. I know you like black coffee and you know I like warm chocolate. This place is also no different from other coffee shops.” said Kirana confused.
“I often come to this place when you are disappointed or want to be alone. Until I get better later. I brought you here because I want to show you where you can find me if we have a big fight later.” Miles has opened up one of his secrets.
“But we don't live here, Miles.” Kirana said, still confused.
“This is the closest coffee shop from our home.” Miles gave him a lead. Kirana finally nodded in understanding. “And this is our first date.” Kirana's eyes are round. Then he took a surprised breath.
“Yes, geez!” Kirana covered her mouth with both hands. Miles was playing with his eyebrows. The woman looked at Miles in disbelief and laughed. “You're right! We never date.”
“So, Kirana,” Miles grabbed Kirana's hand on the table. Kirana laughed a little. “Because it's our first date, the first thing I want to know about you is, how many children do you want if we get married later?” Kirana laughed out loud. Miles smiled
“Ka, are you serious about that question? On the first date, Miles?” Kirana laughed again.
“Questions that ask about your job, your favorite color, your hobby, how many brothers you have, are just mock questions from someone else's date, right? So, what's wrong with being creative?” Miles lifted one of his shoulders. Kirana nodded slowly.
“Bby too. But if that girl was me, I'd rather be a spinster than accept that question on the FIRST date.” Kirana taunted.
“You hurt my heart, Kirana.” said Miles pretending to be sad. Kirana smiled and pulled Miles' hand until their faces approached. She kissed her husband's lips.
“Thank you for making me laugh again, Miles.”.
“Said Amanda, it's been a tradition Bradford only had one child. We already have two. Do you still want more?” kirana asked in surprise.
“One or two more children are good too. I love kids.” Miles said expectantly. Kirana's eyes widened. Two more kids?
“I'm not young anymore, Miles. I'm not sure I'll be able to get pregnant that easily.” she said doubtfully.
“Then, we accelerate. One child next year, and another two years later.” Miles proposed. Kirana opened her mouth. The man laughed a little. “You like the process of making it, do not try to deny it.”
“I won't deny anything. I just, I hate nausea and weakness. Twice pregnant is enough.” Kirana sighed softly as she admitted it. Miles put on a pussy face. “Will I consider.” The man then smiled cheerfully.
“Thank you.”
“Don't you dare tease me again like you did in Singapore.” Kirana threatened her husband. “I want to decide with you. William was my plan. And this baby is you. If we're planning on having a third child, she should be in my womb because we both want her.”
“We agree, Mam.” Miles raised Kirana's hand to his lips and kissed her. The woman smiled.
“So, Mr. Bradford. Do you have any other questions?” kirana Goda. Miles laughed a little.
“There are so many. Are you ready, Mrs Bradford?” reply Miles. Kirana nodded quickly.
They spent two hours in the coffee shop getting to know each other. Miles kept asking her silly questions. Kirana could barely answer him well as she just laughed out loud. She has never been on a date, so she enjoys that time, laughter, touching, kissing, kissing, and a cup of warm chocolate. As Miles moved his chair to his side, Kirana could lean on him and continue their joking conversation.
Miles called his parents to tell them they were going home late. Then he took his wife to a restaurant for dinner. It was their second date. He was no longer acting silly or joking. That time he asked Kirana some serious questions, discussing their future together. Kirana appreciated his efforts to comfort her. He was trying to make his wife feel better.
In the end, Miles takes Kirana to a park. It was their third date. They sat on the grass holding hands and looking at the moon in the sky. They were not alone but Kirana's attention was entirely to her husband. He listened to every word he said, kept his promise in his heart, and enjoyed his unique male scent.
When they finally came home, no one was awake. They went straight to the bedroom. Kirana laughs so hard that Miles has to cover his mouth with his hand as he says that they are going to do their fourth date on the bed. They soak for a long time before enjoying love in bed. Four perfect first dates in a day.
“I love you, Miles.” Kirana whispered happily.
“And I love you too.” Miles kissed her forehead and tightened his embrace. Kirana smiled. This situation is so precise. Can be with Miles and live as husband and wife towards each other, then become parents to their children. It doesn't matter they had an imperfect start. Because they will correct all of these mistakes.
