The Unforgettable Story
Section 87

“Then there are important things we need to tell you.” Amanda looked at her husband. Shane nodded his head. Miles frowned seeing them exchanging glances.

“I beg you, don't tell me I'll have a sister.” joked Miles. Kirana closed her mouth with her hands holding back laughter. Miles laughed with him.

“Hey, hey. The woman you seduced was my wife.” Shane said pretending to be angry. Miles knew he wasn't angry, so he chuckled. Amanda throbs.

“Because you are getting married in three days, as long as you are not officially husband and wife you sleep in separate rooms.” Amanda said.

“We've discussed that, Mom. I disagree.” Miles wrapped his hand around his fiancee's shoulder. “I can't sleep without him by my side.”

“But, Alastair, it's our tradition. Just for three days. You'll be fine sleeping without him.” Amanda insisted. Miles was upset. He would not let his parents dictate to him what he could and could not do.

“No.” says Miles firmly. “If you guys insist, we better sleep in hotel.” Kirana squeezed his hand but he just ignored her. This is between him and his parents.

Amanda looked at him sharply. Miles looked back at his mother. Amanda's eyes then softened. Her lips moved, trying hard to hold back a smile. Miles frowned looking at the attitude of his father and mother. Amanda and Shane's laughter exploded. He and Kirana looked at them in confusion.

“Did I say ‘kan, darling? This time he is different.” Amanda said proudly. Shane smiles.

“I don't understand.” Miles was still frowning.

“Do you remember how you and Angelica behaved when they came here for the first time?” ask Amanda. Miles nodded slowly. “You obey all our will. As long as we agree with your intention to get married.”

“Now you and Kirana don't care what we say. You think about it without immediately agreeing or denying it if you don't like it.” Shane said. He looked towards Kirana. “And I'm happy this time Alastair decided to get married here. Thank you, Kirana.”

“Same-sama, Shane.” Kirana smiled before she accidentally yawned. His face was red with embarrassment. “Ma, forgive me.”

“No, we're the ones apologizing. You must be tired.” said Shane interrupted. “Alastair, you and Kirana sleep in your room. Will got a room in front of you.”

“I'm not sleepy, Granddad. I want to watch the movie.” William said. He looked towards Amanda. “Grandma, can I have cookies again? It's delicious.” Grandma laughs.

“You sure you want to be here, Will?” ask Miles. He stood up and extended his hand to Kirana. But before they go upstairs, she needs to know that her son will be fine without them.

“Iya, Dad.” replied William.

“Do not worry, we will take care of it. If he needs you, we'll take him to your room.” Amanda promised. Miles nodded in relief. Since he needed a break, he did need someone to look after his son.

Miles opens the door and lets Kirana walk out first. They climbed the stairs and headed to his bedroom. Their suitcases were already there, placed near the door of the clothing room. He asked them not to take out clothes without orders from his woman. Kirana sat on the edge of the bed. Miles opens one of the suitcases and pulls out pajamas for her and William, as well as a nightgown for Kirana.

“Your parents are very good.” Kirana looked at him with heavy eyes. Miles knelt in front of him.

“Don't I tell you repeatedly?” Miles defends his cheek. Then he took her hand. “Come, we shower new sleep.”

Half sleepy, Kirana tried to put on her clothes after they had taken a bath. Miles laughed at him. He helped her put her nightgown through her head. After she helped him lie down on the bed and covered him with a blanket, she went out of the room to put William's pajamas on his bed. He returned to his room and lay down on his fiancee's side. With the fatigue his body felt due to the long flight, he had already slept soundly in an instant.

Feeling a touch on his face, Miles opened his eyes. Around him it looks vague. It was night and the lights in his room had not been turned on. He looked to his side. From the light of the outside lights coming through the window, she could see Kirana being awake while looking at her. The woman's hand caressed her cheek.

“Hai.” Miles touched the hand to stop him caressing her cheek and kissing her palm.

“Hai.” Kirana smiled at him.

“After almost twenty-four hours of not being able to sleep well, it's only natural.”

“Hm. I'm glad to see you here.” Miles wrapped his hands around the woman's body. Kirana touched the tip of her nose to Miles' neck.

“Miles,” call Kirana in a whispering voice.

“Ya?” Miles moved his head to look at her.

“I love you.” whispered Kirana on her lips. Miles smiled.

“I love you.” reply Miles and kiss his lips.

The first is the hardest. After Kirana confesses her feelings for the first time, she no longer hesitates to tell her love to him. Which he often says. When they wake up in the morning, before they have intercourse and after, when they separate into their respective workspaces, whenever they stare at each other, and before they go to sleep.

“Thank you for proposing to me.” whispered Kirana again.

“Thank you for accepting my application.” Miles smiled.

“Is this for forever?”

“This is for forever.” Miles lowered his head and kissed Kirana's lips to the fullest. “I'll be by your side when you're old and not beautiful anymore. Don't worry.” god. They laugh together.

“Shane and Amanda don't like Angelica?” ask Kirana. Miles shook his head. “Why not?”

“Too much he hid. That's all Mom told me. She is not an honest woman, Dad.” replied Miles quietly. He closed his eyes. “But still I married her.”

“I understand. You were in love at the time. You can't stop the urge to marry her soon.” Kirana caressed his cheek. Miles touched the hand.

“No. What I felt for him at that moment was different from what I felt for you. I don't have to fight hard to get it. Our relationship went well. Everyone was comfortable when I took her with me, so I thought, we both fit in. Only Mom and Dad don't like it very much.”

“Do you think they like me?” ask Kirana slowly. Miles stared.

“Isn't that clearly visible?” Miles asked back. Kirana was silent for a while.

“I will kill you if you dare to betray me, Miles.” threatened Kirana with a very serious tone. Miles laughed a little. “I'm not kidding.”

“I know. I will not betray you.” Miles tightened his embrace. “Shane and Amanda are on your side. They will also kill me if they hurt you.”

“Good. You better remember that.” said Kirana relieved. Miles laughed a little.

“Are you hungry?” Miles rubbed Kirana's stomach.

“I don't. Little one yes.” The woman sighed softly.

“Then, come on, let's go to the dining room now.” Miles intends to sit down but Kirana holds him back.

“Shortly. Five minutes more.” his door while tightening his embrace. “I want to lie down with my future husband.”
