Morning had arrived and Sesshoumaru who was lying on the futon did not close his eyes all night. Those two golden eyes of inuyoukai were only focused on staring at the peaceful sleeping human woman beside him regardless of the time.

It had been more than a week since the events that had shaken their happy lives, and within a week or so, he, Sesshoumaru, the ruler of the western lands was caught up in his fear.

Kagome's moving. Standing up, he immediately ran to the next room. He did not know what was going on right, but if until a Sesshoumaru shouted like this, the answer was only one; something had happened to Rin.

The first thing Kagome saw when opening the closed shoji door was Rin Sesshoumaru's figure who hugged Rin tightly.

"Rin's not breathing."

Fear filled Kagome's heart. Approaching Rin, he immediately asked Sesshoumaru to lay the human woman down. Examining Rin's returning heart to stop beating, he immediately used his hand to pump out the unconscious woman's heart.

"Rin-chan, wake up!!!"

What the hell's going on? Why is this happening again? Where's the fault of all this? Kagome doesn't know anymore.

Rin walked in endless darkness. His bare feet continued to move without direction. Here it is dark, silent and also–cold. There was no sign of life other than her. Where is this?

Rin scrunched his forehead. He never knew where this was, but, not knowing why, this place also did not feel foreign to him. It seems like he has visited this place before.

"My son..."

A person's voice suddenly rang out from behind Rin, making the human woman immediately turn around facing the source of the voice. The voice that his ears caught was the strangest voice he had ever heard, like the voice of a woman, but also not a woman, like a child but also like an adult and also a parent.

But, there was no one behind Rin. What his eyes saw was still one; endless darkness. "Who???" yell Rin loudly.

There was no answer, and it made Rin sigh. Maybe the voice was just his delusion, he was alone here, no one else. Reversing her body again, she intended to take a step, but once again, she again heard the voice.

"My beloved son.."

Rin stopped walking. He believed the voice he heard was true and was not his delusion. Taking a breath, he then turned his back. "Who?"

Behind Rin, there was something now, but it was also not a living being like a human or a youkai. Behind him was a light–or rather, a beautiful golden-white ball of light.

"Rinku darling.."

"Rin wants to go ahead." Rin answered while pointing out the direction where he had been. A sweet smile filled his face.

"Why do you want to go ahead?" ask the voice again.

The question left Rin stunned. Quietly, he thought, why would he want to go ahead?–he has no idea at all. Gnashing his forehead again, he looked back at the ball of light. "Rin doesn't know. Do you know?"

The ball of light laughed again. "I know, therefore I won't let you there–not for now."

"Why?" ryn asked confusedly.

"My beloved Rink" called the ball of light again quietly. Although her voice was strange, Rin could feel affection and tenderness as the voice called out to her. "That place will be a place that will make you sad and miserable if you leave now."

"That's it, huh?" muttered Rin slowly. A moment later, she smiled again very sweetly. "Then, thank you for telling Rin."

The ball of light laughed again. There was joy filling his voice. "My beloved Rinn, do you believe me?"

Rin immediately nodded with a smile still on his face. "Believe."

"Why?"

"Rin feels you are not a bad person" Rin replied with a laugh. "And your voice is so soft. Rin is happy to talk to you."

The ball of light laughed again. "I'm also very happy to talk to you, my beloved Rinku. You don't know how long I've wanted to talk to you–how long I've wanted you to be aware of my whereabouts."

"My dear Rinn" call the ball of light again. His voice softened. "You are truly beloved, how innocent and pure is your soul."

Rin blushed embarrassedly and lowered his head down to hear the speech of the ball of light.The ball of light was praising him, right?

"My beloved Rink" call for another ball of light. "Have you been happy all this time?"

Rin raised her head and smiled very widely. "Sure!! Rin has been so happy all along. Rin has..."

The handsome face of a man was reflected in Rin's mind. Beautiful long silver hair, handsome face, charming little smile and a pair of eyes that looked at her gently. However, along with the shadow of the man, the overwhelming pain felt in his chest?

The ball of light was silent. However, a moment later he asked again in a soft voice. "My dear Rinn, who's more important, that man or you?"

The question of the ball of light left Rin stunned again. Who's that important? He didn't know who the man was, and he also didn't know who himself–who was more important? He doesn't know how to answer.

But...

A pair of golden eyes that were looking at him gently. He could only feel, how beautiful those eyes were–how the golden color was shining amazingly and made his heart feel warm. Who's more important–men that's what's more important.

"The man" replied Rin then full of confidence. "The man is more important than Rin himself. The ball of light-sama, do you know who that man is?"

The ball of light is silent. However, not knowing why, Rin felt the ball of light seem to smile at her. A moment later, a soft voice came back. "My beloved Rinn, look at your stomach.."

Rin immediately lowered his gaze on his queen stomach. He again did not understand the intent of the ball of light. However, looking at his queen stomach, the shadow of the man appeared again in his mind.

The gentle look in that pair of golden eyes, the small smile on that handsome face, the loving touching hand of his queen stomach, as well as the heavy voice that whispered softly–'Our son.'

Rin. Immediately, he raised both hands hugging his queen belly. She could see now, there was a light in her stomach. There was his son with the man in him; his son with Sesshoumaru.

Raising his head with both hands tightly hugging his stomach, Rin looked back at the ball of light. Tears flowed down from his cheeks. "R-rin wants to go home to Sesshoumaru-sama. Rin doesn't want to be here anymore.."

'Dead, stay. This Sesshoumaru ordered, never leave this Sesshoumaru...'

Saying Sesshoumaru, his order, his request–Rin remember all now. He said he was not going anywhere; he and their son would always be with the inuyoukai.

"Light ball-sama, can you show Rin and our son the way home to Sesshoumaru-sama." Rin asked with a teary face.

"My beloved Rink" said the ball of light softly full of tenderness. "I can lead you home to him.."

"Thank you!" reply Rin quickly. A beautiful smile bloomed on her face. Relief filled his face. "Thank you light-sama ball!! Thank you!!"

"But, dear Rinku," the sound of the ball of light returned to speak. "Time has stopped moving again. This time, I can't stop it anymore.."

"Eh?" Rin was stunned to hear that sentence. It was a familiar sentence, a sentence that instantly made a tremendous fear fill his heart.

"You are the first soul to be preserved twice. You're also a different soul to all the souls that exist, because that's a consequence–"

"Please!!" cut Rin fast. He knew what the ball of light wanted to say. Not being told, he already knew the answer. Deep in his heart, his soul and body knew it all. But....

"Thank you!! Thank you, light ball-sama!" a smile of laughter filled his face. Removing the tears, Rin said his sincere thanks to the ball of light.

Flying close to Rin, the ball of light shone very brightly. Then, slowly, in a torrent of light he went to Rin's chest and entered the human woman's body. "My dear son, Rinku, I will beat guiding you.."

Rin opened both of her eyes wide. His heart stopped beating as usual. Opening his mouth, he immediately filled his empty lungs with air. His blurry gaze slowly focused, and he instantly found himself in a warm embrace.

"Rin-chan!!" kagome's happy voice sounded. Looking over at the side, Rin saw the future miko laughing with tears in her eyes. "Thank God, you're conscious."

Looking to the side again, gazing around, Rin's eyes could see, Inuyasha, Miroku, Sango, Jinenji, Inukimi, Kiri and Kira smiled with relief at him.

Not yet had she said anything, the warm embrace that enveloped her caught Rin's attention. The hug grew stronger and tighter, yet he could also feel, how vibrating the sturdy warm body that was holding him.

Raising both hands, Rin then returned the embrace. "Sesshoumaru-sama, Rin is still here, we are not going anywhere..."

Sesshoumaru did not retaliate, he simply closed his eyes and hugged the tighter the woman he loved. Almost. Again, he almost lost them. Her helplessness, her fear–Sesshoumaru felt like going crazy facing this all.

"Sesshoumaru-sama," a soft sound like the clanking of bells rang out again. He could feel the warm hands patting his back slowly. "It's okay. Everything's gonna be okay..."

Speech and attitude that calms him. Taking a breath, Sesshoumaru then regulated his feelings and opened his eyes. Releasing his embrace, his golden eyes looked at Rin who was smiling at him.

Rin's face was still pale, his body also looked very exhausted, but his heart had returned to beat in rhythm with–? Sesshoumaru's eyes widened.

Not caring about everything, Sesshoumaru again raised his hand and opened the wide collar of Rin's kimono. His ears could hear, not one, but two–there were two heartbeats that were the same as his heart beat right now.

The eyes of everyone else were stunned, and their eyes were wide in disbelief. Not because of Sesshoumaru's attitude, but because of what they saw. Fear has re-established their hearts.
