The Chapter 110

Akihiko stood staring at the night sky within the forest beside the western land palace. His handsome face was expressionless, and he also paid no attention to Tsubasa walking up to him from behind.

Tsubasa who then stood not far from behind Akihiko also did not say anything. His two red eyes looked straight at the southern land lord's back.

Akihiko who left the southern land and decided to stay temporarily in the western land of—Tsubasa could only think, how much the youkai world would be in an uproar if he knew what the southern land lord was aiming for; kisaki captured the western lands.

With both of her sky blue eyes having turned blood red and both of her raised lips revealing her long canine teeth, Tsubasa knew, Akihiko was angry.

"K-why? W-why not h-servant?" tsubasa said slowly. His two red eyes stared at Akihiko. "Why don't you b-can give your c-love to the servant?"

Tsubasa's question made Akihiko even more furious. He strangled the stronger the neck of the youkai bird without concern for his life anymore.

"H-amba can give you the love you expect." Tsubasa said slowly. Ait eyes flowed down her cheeks.

Love and even her life, Tsubasa can give it all to Akihiko, and she is sure, her love will also not lose to the human woman's love for Sesshoumaru. But, why couldn't Akihiko see it?

Tsubasa's words made Akihiko stunned, but a moment later she laughed out loud. Releasing his hand that was strangling Tsubasa's neck, he let the bird's youkai fall down and coughed.

"Because you're not Rin," Akihiko said after controlling his laughter. Looking at Tsubasa, a smile filled his handsome face. "And—I don't need your love."

Akihiko's reply left Tsubasa speechless. Both of his eyes widened to look at the wolf youkai he loved. A tremendous pain came back to his heart, so painful that he could think of nothing.

No matter Tsubasa's reaction, Akihiko squatted down. The smile ringing on his face did not change, whereas his sky blue eyes were filled with contemptuous gazes. "You can tell the dog, Tsubasa. All my plans and wishes, but my— will still get Rin."

Tsubasa who meets Sesshoumaru, Akihiko knows, and also, she knows what Tsubasa has been feeling to her all along. But it never mattered to him. Why should he think of something unimportant? In this world now, to him, the most important thing was that Rin belonged to him.

Laughing once more, Akihiko then stood up. Not caring for Tsubasa, she then stepped her feet leaving the forest where they were.

Tsubasa remained motionless, staring at the back that was getting further away and finally disappearing from her sight, she then raised her head up and laughed loudly.

The sound of loud laughter filled the forest and night sky. Tsubasa laughed happily. He was very happy, because the more Akihiko wanted the human woman, the more suffering the wolf youkai would be. What he wanted, everything he planned had gone very well.

Sesshoumaru would never abandon the woman, nor would the woman who could not possibly turn away from the inuyoukai. Everything she felt, Tsubasa knew, Akihiko would feel it too.

But—why is his heart so sick? Pain until it feels like it wants to break, it hurts so much that he can't breathe, as if his whole body will crumble.

Love is deep, yet painful. If only hundreds of years ago, Tsubasa knew, there would be a day like this, then back then, it was, he would definitely prefer to die at the hands of the eagle—he would definitely be happier living as a small bird in this world.

"I want to kill him, Daddy!!" akiko shouted loudly full of anger. Her two blue eyes had turned blood red, as well as her beautiful face which had now turned closer to her original figure, the nine-tailed fox.

"The woman of man!!! I want him dead!! He has already dared to snatch away all of mine!!!" akiko kept shouting no matter what around her.

Asano who was in front of Akiko did not say anything. Silently silent, the ruler of the eastern land saw his daughter overflow the anger that was there. The present situation, he does not understand. Sesshoumaru, the ruler of the western lands has loudly declared that his heir is only one, that is; the child in his human kisaki womb—a hanyou.

Sesshoumaru is not a youkai who has no logic, he is a youkai who always takes into account everything he does. So, raising a child onlyou to be his heir, does he have any hidden intentions?

What Sesshoumaru was like, Asano had been observing him since birth, because he was the son of Inu No Taisho and Inukimi from the west who were famous for being so strong. The inuyoukai is undoubtedly a dangerous and terrible youkai. Youkai who is at the top of the predatory pyramid in the world, youkai are very perfect, because—dia has no feelings. "Do something, Daddy!!" akiko shouted loudly, she knelt down in front of Asano and looked at him fixedly. "I will never forget this humiliation! I want it all back to me!!"

Asano remained silent, his brain thinking of changing the circumstances that were unfavorable to him now. However, all of a sudden, the shoji door of the room opened. A fox youkai ran in with a pale face.

"Asano-sama," said the fox youkai while kneeling, his eyes staring fearfully at Asano and Akiko. "The youkai village of the blue rabbit clan and the water bird has been destroyed by humans!"

"Eat this" Shippo said softly and threw the two apples in his hand at Yuki and Sora."We'll spend the night here today."

Yuki and Sora who caught the apple that Shippo threw nodded their heads. Not wasting any time, Sora immediately bit the apple and chewed it gratefully, as he was indeed very hungry.

However, not for Yuki, he stared at the apple for a moment and then looked at Shippo. "Shippo-kun, you think," he said slowly. "What's really going on?"

Shippo silently listened to Yuki's question, as she did not have the answer.

"W-what do you think, S-shui-sama, the honorable one who did all this?" yuki's voice shook saying what was in his heart.

Shippo sighed and scratched his head. "I don't know. But, there's a possibility."

Following continuously the youkai disguised as humans, Shiipo, Yuki and Sora gained some information, though it was not detailed. The day after they saw Shui's subordinates appear, the troops returned to move.

However, there is something different. They headed towards the eastern land and there, they slaughtered the youkai village of the blue rabbit clan. As before, the army left the flag of the human nobility—as if the one who attacked was indeed human. Then, after destroying the blue rabbit clan's youkai village, they again moved to attack the waterbird clan's youkai village.

Shippo was really hoping to find Kagome and the others. If they existed, he was sure, they would definitely be able to find an answer to what had happened. However, neither Yuki nor Sora wanted to, the two of them were still determined to keep an eye on that army and gather information.

Shippo couldn't just leave the two of them behind. They were still not even able to search for food themselves properly, how could he leave them? Leaving them is the same as letting them die.

The feelings of Yuki and Sora, Shippo actually understood. The two little youkai just wanted to know who their enemy really was to provide a clarity on the demise of their clan. However, looking with his own eyes the village chief youkai clan of snow butterflies, blue rabbits and water birds perished without being able to do anything—he felt himself to be completely useless.

Shippo then sighed. There was a feeling of despair filling his heart, when he thought he had now become strong, in fact he was still very weak. He could be like the Inuyasha who though stupid and thoughtless dared to jump out with the tessaiga sword when finding enemies, no matter they were stronger or numerous.

"Shippo-kun," Yuki called out slowly. He looked at the fox youkai with his two red eyes full of worry. "What's wrong?"

"It's okay—" Shippo's reply was unresolved, as he could feel the aura of youkai leading towards them. Pulling Yuki and Sora who were still unaware of anything, they immediately hid behind the bushes.

Yuki and Sora instantly find out what happened seeing Shippo's reaction. Their faces instantly paled, and did not dare to utter a word.

Slowly, they heard footsteps. Stealing a look from within the bushes, both Shippo and Yuki could see two youkai men from the troops they were following walking past.

"I'm getting tired of this work" said one of the youkai. "Why are we just told to slaughter those weak youkai-youkai? There is no challenge at all."

"Don't look for trouble" his friend replied with a sigh. "We must follow orders."

"Yes," the youkai who first spoke took a deep breath. "I know, we go north and slaughter the village of the weak youkai clan over there, right?"

"It's good that you know." replied the friend and then laughed. "I hope that after the north, we will be tasked with slaughtering the youkai clan of the western lands."

Shippo who was silent at the two youkai's talk couldn't stop the growing unpleasant feelings. Neutral, east and now north, then possibly west. What is their purpose? Do they want to create a human and youkai war?

"Kenji-sama!! Can you help me? Can you give me a hint!?" cry Myoga loudly. He sits on the shoulder of Kenji, a monkey youkai who was both Inu No Taisho's best friend and right-hand man.

Kenji did not answer Myoga's question. He sat quietly in the cave that was his residence thinking of something that did not know why it so hardened his heart.

"I've been looking for Totosai, Bakuseno, I've even visited Toga-sama's grave" Myoga shouted continuously not caring about Kenji not caring about him. "But, I still can't find any clues about Fushi No Kusurai!!"

"Myoga," call Kenji and then quietly. He began to be troubled by Myoga's voice. "Whispering."

Myoga was silent at Kenji's words. With eyes still full of tears, he then said slowly. "Sesshoumaru will probably call me soon. I-I might be dead soon..."

"You won't die" Kenji interrupted, scratching his non-itchy head. "Sesshoumaru won't be calling you anytime soon, because there are too many things he has to take care of right now."

Myoga's tears came to a halt, with a look of disbelief, he looked at Kenji expectantly. "really?"

Kenji nodded his head. "She definitely won't call you until little Rin gives birth to her heir."

Kenji's reply made Myoga's eyes widen again. "P-heir?? Rin-chan is pregnant with Sesshoumaru's child???"

"Oh, don't you know?" ask Kenji and smile. "Sesshoumaru had even announced that the child was his rightful heir and only one."

"S-sesshoumaru wants to pass the land west to a hanyou??" ask Myoga again. He who was on his way looking for fushi no kusurah had absolutely no intention of hearing any other news, therefore, he had no idea that the western land kisaki had conceived an heir.

"I don't think it's anything to surprise, Myoga," Kenji's smile saw his friend's reaction. "That child though hanyou, he is the son of the only woman who means so much to him—Sesshoumaru will love his son as Toga used to love him and Inuyasha."

Myoga fell silent again. But, he felt that Kenji's words were very true. The human woman he brought to life, raised in his court well, was appointed to the western lands, and wanted to extend her life. Rin is indeed the only woman who means anything to Sesshoumaru.

"Yes," Myoga replied later quietly. Slowly, a smile spread across his face. "Sesshoumaru will love the boy."

There was a sense of happiness filling Myoga's heart. He felt Inu No Taisho would definitely be overjoyed to see the development of Sesshoumaru now. Inuyoukai the ruler of the western land had received his heir who was a hanyou, therefore, he must have also received his hanyouya—Inuyasha sister.

The relationship between Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha, which has never been good since then, has now begun to change. But, perhaps no one thought, that what made the impossible a reality was a human woman without any power.

Kenji did not say a word hearing Myoga's words. Silently silent, she recalled the information she had obtained regarding Rin's pregnancy. From the entry will be unreasonable.

In a world where the powerful and weak laws of the jungle are perishing, the destruction of a clan of white rats and snow butterflies has become something of a shame. A Youkai that was weaker than a human, no one thought to investigate it, including; Shui.

Shui the neutral youkai leader did nothing with the destruction of the two clans under him. Who's Shui? Kenji clearly knows. He knew both his true nature and his madness, therefore, everything felt very bad.

Kenji was a general, nearly two thousand years he lived, he had gone through countless wars and battles. Experience talking to him; something strange, something awkward and— dangerous.

"Kenji-sama!!" yell out the voice of a monkey youkai who ran into the cave where Kenji and Myoga were suddenly.

Kenji and Myoga instantly turned their faces at the breathless young monkey youkai as it arrived in front of them. "Kenji-sama, why don't you ever want to move out of this cave? Do you know how hard and far we have to run to get to this place?" the youkai protest was full of annoyance.

Kenji didn't care what his subordinates said. He who is the leader of the monkey youkai clan does not live in their village, he prefers to live alone in a cave far from the crowd, and also, he prefers to live alone in a cave, wasn't asking his subordinates to come from the village by accidentally training their abilities?

"Kenji-sama, there's something I want to tell you" the young youkai said then as he scratched his head. The expression on his face that was full of annoyance immediately became serious.

"What's wrong?" ask Kenji.

"The youkai village of the blue rabbit clan and the water birds of the eastern land have been destroyed by humans," the young youkai replied quickly. "And, like the two clans before it, no one lives."

"Eh???" myoga was surprised. The youkai village perished in the hands of humans?

Kenji did not say anything, but the awkward feeling in his heart grew stronger hearing the information. His heart was beating fast, and no matter what, the monkey youkai knew, he had to check it out for himself; he could not remain silent anymore.

Rising to his feet, Kenji then opened his mouth while staring at the young youkai in front of him. "Tell those in the village, I'll leave the village to check what's going on."
