Chapter 129

"Sister!!!"

"Sesshoumaru-sama!!!"

The voices of Inuyasha, Kiri, Kira and the western land youkai calling out his name were clearly heard in Sesshoumaru's ears, as well as the pain he was now feeling. Lowering his gaze, he could see a white youki arrow piercing through his heart and body from behind.

Sesshoumaru.

Rin's smiling face reflected in Sesshoumaru's mind. But a second later, the laughter turned into a cry full of sadness, fear and despair.

An excruciating pain invaded his heart. Sesshoumaru did not know which now hurts more, the arrow that pierced the heart or the tears on Rin's face that crushed his heart.

Unplugging the bakusaiga that pierced Akihiko's neck. Sesshoumaru vomited blood from his mouth, and knelt down. Unbelievably sick pain strikes the inuyoukai—s aching feeling that he no longer knows what the pain is due to. His whole body was unbearably painful.

Again, he thought; is he going to die? Will he, Sesshoumaru, the ruler of the western lands die from the arrow that pierces his heart?

Sesshoumaru.

Rin's smiling shadow flashed back through Sesshoumaru's mind. The difference is, this time the human woman smiled very beautifully and happily while hugging a tiny baby in her arms.

Sesshoumaru did not know what was happening, but his aching heart seemed to throb as the shadow flashed through his mind. Then—ada warmth that appears. The ruler of the western lands did not know what was happening, the pain and the concomitant warmth he felt now were unexplained.

Sesshoumaru-sama, see—Shura..

Closing his eyes, the soft voice was heard again, as was Rin's shadow holding the baby in a chest embrace.

Baby it—Sesshoumaru know; Shura. A little baby who is proof of their love. The baby in which he will bequeath all that he has, titles, swords and lands west—heirs of the great western lands.

Shura, she has not touched it, has never hugged it. In fact, she still had never seen the face of their son, therefore—how could Sesshoumaru leave her child?

Sesshoumaru did not want Shura to grow up like Inuyasha who had never seen his biological father. She wants to be together and see her son's precious growth from infancy to being the ruler replacing him— with Rin.

If hell is something he has to go through to be with Rin and Shura, Sesshoumaru is willing to go through it. If death was what would separate him with his wife and son—he would surpass death itself.

Families.

What is most important to the ruler of the western lands is the family; Rin and Shura. Therefore, for the two of them who are waiting for his return—Sesshoumaru will always come home soon.

Opening his eyes, Sesshoumaru moved his right hand and pulled out an arrow that pierced his body and heart. Blood flowed out unstoppably from his wound hole soaking the snowy ground below.

Closing his eyes again, Sesshoumaru immediately used his right hand back to press against the hole in the chest. Gathering his youkis, he concentrated on speeding up his regeneration ability.

"Sister!!" Inuyasha who ran up to Sesshoumaru immediately knelt down to check on the condition of his half-brother. Fear was clearly visible on his face when he saw that the inuyoukai did not reply and continued to press against the hole in the chest.

As well as Kiri and Kira, the two brothers immediately knelt down to check on the state of their ruler.

"Akihiko-sama!!" Tsubasa and Koga who also arrived beside Akihiko immediately knelt down to check on the state of the southern land lord. Their voices were just like Inuyasha's voice full of fear.

Withdrawing the southern land ruling body, Tsubasa immediately examined Akihiko's condition closely. Tears flowed down the cheeks of the bird's youkai and a feeling of gratitude filled his heart upon seeing the condition of the ruler of the southern land which, though severe enough, would not take his life.

Akihiko did not give the slightest reaction to Koga and Tsubasa's attitude, his two sky blue eyes were still directed at Shui who was above the night sky.

The fight that was raging stopped. Everything that existed was unable to move in the slightest staring at Shui's unexpected appearance and injuring Sesshoumaru.

An overwhelming anger filled Inuyasha's heart seeing Sesshoumaru who was still blindfolded and trying to control his wound. Standing up, the inuanyou stared hatefully at Shui. "Shoppers!! How dare you use such cowardly means!!"

Shui laughed at Inuyasha's words. There was not the slightest change to the expression of happiness on his face. "This is the battlefield, Inuyasha. All ways allowed."

"Thosebirds you!!" yell Inuyasha again. The anger in his heart grew increasingly to the point of hearing Shui's laughter.

Similarly, Inuyasha, Kiri and Kira and the entire western land army also could not accept Shui's remarks that did not reflect the attitude of castria in the least. Their hateful gazes were all directed at the neutral land leader.

However, amidst the tension and silence, the sound of Takeru's laughter suddenly rang out breaking the atmosphere. "Haha! Shui's right!!" he smiled with a big smile. "War is war!! If you die from not being able to guard your back, it is not the fault of anyone other than yourself!!"

What Takeru said made the joint soldiers aware. They all felt that what the ruler of the northern land said was true, this was a battlefield, a place where negligence would be paid with the life of—Shui was not at all wrong.

Asano who was silent from earlier also let out his voice. Gazing at the unmoving Sesshoumaru, his eyes stared joyfully at the inuyoukai. "What are you waiting for!! The enemy leader has fallen!! Attack it!! This war is not over!!"

Asano's shout resuscitated the joint soldiers. Staring at the still motionless Sesshoumaru, they began to move and raised the weapon in hand.

The war is not over. Until the western ground troops are destroyed and the leader is completely dead, they must not stop—victory is in sight, stay a little longer.

Moving on, the youkai joint forces came back to attack. However, they had not had time to launch an attack something suddenly stopped them.

From above the sky where Shui was flying with a wide smile on his face, a gigantic golden-coloured staff shot down with incredible speed.

Shocked, Shui immediately dodged, his two white eyes wide open staring at the sudden attack directed at him.

The stick fell down and hit the blood-filled snow ground below. A great tremor is like an earthquake created, as well as a gust of wind. Sticking on the ground, the eyes of all the youkai below were pointed at the stick. Their movements all stopped.

"I have arrived!!!!" the sound of loud laughter breaking the silence sounded.

Directing their gaze, the eyes of all the existing youkai stared at the source of the voice. At the end of the giant stick that was directed towards the sky, a monkey youkai crouched down while scratching his head. A smile filled his face directed at Shui.

"Kenji, saru shogun from the west has been present."

Miroku, Kohaku and Jaken who were separated away from the battlefield had no idea what was really going on, but they could see the wounded Sesshoumaru and the direction of the war that would not benefit the western lands anymore.

"My miroku! The kohaku!! Jaken!!" the voice calling out the names of Miroku and Kohaku sounded out all of a sudden.

Looking at the source of the sound, Miroku, Kohaku and Jaken's eyes find Myoga clueless since when it has been on Miroku's shoulders and hopping around.

"Yoga-san is? Why are you here?" miroku asked confusedly at the sudden appearance of Myoga.

"I came following Kenji-sama," Javan Myoga. Sitting on Miroku's shoulders, he folded his hands on his chest. "And he told me to wait here."

"Kenji-san?" confusion fills Miroku's heart, Kohaku and Jaken hear the name of the monkey youkai that Myoga mentioned.

However, as yet Miroku, Kohaku and Jaken asked further, a noise was heard from the battlefield. Looking forward again, their eyes saw a gigantic golden stick darting down rapidly against the ground and stopping the moving youkai back.

That golden stick, both Miroku, Kohaku and Jaken know is Kenji's weapon. Only, they did not understand why the monkey youkai appeared in this way?

"Fuckin' monkey?" inukimi's voice suddenly sounded from behind.

Shocked, both Miroku, Kohaku, Jaken and Myoga turned their heads to look at Inukimi who did not know since when it had been behind them.

Standing up, Inukimi's hand hugged something that kept moving . However, Miroku and the others do not know what it is because the moko-moko of the former ruler of the western lands cover it perfectly from sight.

Inukimi's face was flat expressionless, but, anyone who saw her could see the full vigilance of the inuyoukai. It was as if he would attack without hesitation if anyone dared to approach him.

"Are you waiting for me, Shui?" kenji asked with a radiant smile that had not changed on his face.

Staring at Kenji, the smile on the face of the neutral land leader did not disappear. "No," his friend slowly. "—but, if you're coming now, I'm curious about what you want to do, Kenji-san."

"Of course be the main character in this skit," Kenji laughed loudly. She stroked her genitals and tidied her hair, her eyes sparkling happily staring at the white-eyed youkai in front of her. "You think I'm a good fit as the lead, right?"

Shui laughed. His white eyes stared fearlessly at Kenji. The appearance of this monkey youkai is not something surprising, because he had predicted it. "Please—if you can."

Laughing louder, Kenji then turned his gaze to the bewildered youkai staring at him below. Standing at the end of his giant stick that stuck the ground, with white snow falling in the winter night the monkey's—youkai felt the stage for him was perfect.

Breathing out, Kenji shouted out loudly. "Based on you all useless!!"

Using youki to amplify his voice, Kenji's screams rang out to tens of kilos of meters. "Shame the youkai nation only!! Just waste your long life!! The older the senile, huh?"

Kenji's scream is probably something no one ever imagined. Stunned, shocked and confused, no one youkai made a sound to reply to the monkey youkai's cry, including; Shui.

As if he had still not finished casting a pang of resentment in his heart, Kenji continued to shout. "Where are you guys really?? In your ass?? Or do you guys keep it under the bed??—use your useless stump brains to think, idiot!!"

While everyone was still stunned in disbelief at what they heard, Inuyasha who was below shouted loudly in protest. "Oi!! Fucking monkey, what do you mean??!!"

Kenji stopped shouting as soon as he heard Inuyasha's voice. Looking at that innuanyou, he found a pair of eyes staring at him sharply full of anger.

Laughing, Kenji stroked his beard. "Silence, Inuyasha. The idiots I'm referring to aren't you—you're not an idiot, just a little stupid."

"What do you mean you son of a bitch??!!!" inuyasha shouted in anger. If only Sesshoumaru was okay, he would have jumped up and made a calculation with the monkey youkai.

"Already, already," Kenji smiled as he wagged his hand. Looking back at the youkai troops staring at him, the smile on his face grew wider. He nodded his head apologizing, laughing. "I'm sorry for my words that deviated from the topic of conversation for serving my best friend's child."

Kenji's strange and unpredictable demeanor really leaves the youkai under confusion. Is this old general crazy?

Lifting his back, Kenji stood up straight. His eyes that were full of ignorance, now again shine full of seriousness. "The idiots I'm referring to are you guys—youkai neutral."

Surprised cries filled the faces of the youkai warriors below. Anger immediately filled the hearts of the neutral youkai seeing Kenji insulting them like that.

"What do you mean, Kenji-san!!?"

"Don't be rude, Kenji!!"

The outcry from the neutral land youkai sounded. However, Kenji did not care about it. His face also did not hide the slightest contemptuous smile that existed.

"You are cowards and afraid of deathI know that," Kenji replied again, shaking his head. "But letting yourself and your clan be led to the destruction of—what else if not idiots?"

Kenji's remarks once again left the neutral ground youkai stunned. Increasingly confused, they do not understand the meaning of the words they hear.

"Humans who can exterminate youkai villages without waste in neutral lands, eastern lands, northern lands and southern lands" Kenji continued. Both of his eyes were then raised to look at Shui who was still calm. "—do you think is right the actions of humans?"

Kenji's sudden question instantly created a commotion. The youkai below whispered, looking at each other, but no one dared to answer the monkey youkai question.

"As powerful as man is, man cannot destroy the youkai village without a remnant," opening his mouth again, Kenji did not allow the slightest view of Shui. "The ones attacking youkai villages in neutral, east, north and south are—youkai, not humans."

Not caring about the commotion below as a result of his words, Kenji raised his right hand pointing at Shui above. "You've all been played! You guys are nothing more than chess seeds by the real mastermind—Shui, the neutral land leader!!"

Kenji's words this time caused a commotion that could not be dammed anymore. Look at the disbelief and doubt all the youkai below were fixed on Shui.

"What do you mean, Kenji-san!?"

"You lied!!"

"Don't slander, Shui-sama!!!"

Kenji casually paid no attention to the protests of the youkai below. Lowering his gaze, he looked at Takeru and Asano. Smiles filled his face. "I'm not going to say anything to the east and north, because you guys are —likes the charade."

Neither Takeru nor Asano replied to Kenji. The two rulers stared straight at the monkey youkai in front as if they did not understand the meaning. Only, the two of them felt a bad feeling, for fear that the appearance of this old general would ruin all their plans.

Kenji's gaze then falls on Akihiko. The grinning smile on his face disappeared replaced ****** quietly. "To the south—Akihiko, although I understand your choice," he said slowly. "You're being stupid like Inuyasha."

"Hey!! What do you mean????!!" sela Inuyasha who had been called a fool twice by Kenji.

Kenji once again paid no attention to Inuyasha. Staring at Akihiko, he was silent. The choice of the ruler of the southern lands who participated in this war, he knew. Everything is just to keep Rin safe. It's just, that option—salah.

Akihiko who was still injured did not reply to Kenji's words. His two sky blue eyes stared at the figure of the shogun saru in silence.

Ja. Akihiko wouldn't pull over if he was said to be stupid now, because he was indeed—doll. But, he has no choice. For Rin, he was willing to be the most stupid person in the world.

Shui who was at the top then laughed out loud. Staring at Kenji, there was still not the slightest change in his face even though the monkey youkai had revealed what he was doing. "Kenji-san," he called out quietly while smiling widely and clapping. "What a wonderful story."

Kenji replied to Shui with a smile. He could already guess what the white-eyed youkai would say next.

"But—" continued Shui again with a smile. "Where's the evidence?"

Kenji laughed out loud at Shui's question which really fit his guess. Raising his hands down his hair, he desperately held back the laughter that wanted to slide out.

I don't care about Shui's questions. Kenji then jumped down from his cane. Landing on the snow ground, his giant stick shrank to its usual size and darted quickly into the grasp of the hand.

No matter what all the eyes were on him, Kenji walked up to Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha, Kiri and Kira slowly.

"You!!! Goddamn it!!" inuyasha shouted annoyedly at Kenji. He moved his hand to punch the monkey youkai, though it was quickly avoided.

"Don't make a fuss, Inuyasha," Kenji said. As usual, he did not care about Inuyasha. "I'm not done yet."

Inuyasha stopped and closed his mouth tightly hearing Kenji's words. But, inwardly, he promised to make a calculation with the monkey after all this was done.

Reversing her body, Kenji then raised his head back to look at Shui. A very wide smile filled his face. "You want proof?? I'll show you!!!"

Kenji's words made the commotion that existed fall silent again. The eyes of all who are back are directed at the shogun saru who now stands full of trust.

Shui didn't move. However, the smile on his face disappeared. Kenji can't possibly have any proof of what he's doing, right?—because he's obliterated all the evidence that leads to him.

Moving his hand, Kenji pulled out a small bottle from behind his kimono. Opening and pouring it, instantly, the figure of three small youkai appeared before the thousands of pairs of eyes present.

Shui's eyes widened as he looked at the three little youkai who were now raising their heads looking at him fearlessly. He was familiar with the three small youkai, but—how could they still be alive?

Inuyasha did not know two of the little youkai. But, there was one youkai that he knew very well. "Shippo?"

"Brava!!!" reply Shippo happy. Waving her hands, her green eyes sparkled at the family member she desperately missed.

"Yuki's? Sora?" From the crowd of soldiers in front, the voice of a youkai sounded, and he was none other than Koharu, a squirrel youkai from neutral ground. His eyes were wide in disbelief staring at the two white mouse youkai that he thought was dead.

"Uncle Koharu!!" call Yuki and Sora happy. Tears flowed down the cheeks, after a long time, they finally met again with people who knew them since childhood.

Running towards Yuki and Sora, Koharu immediately embraced the two little youkai. Tears also flowed down her cheeks. A feeling of joy filled his heart, for they were the grandchildren of his best friend, the leader of the white rat clan, and also—with his own eyes, he saw the two boys grow up.

Yuki and Sora returned Koharu's embrace equally tightly. They did not hold back even the slightest of their broken happy cries.

Shippo smiled happily at Yuki and Sora. Pride filled his heart, because, he had successfully done his duty—protects Yuki and Sora to reunite with people who know and love them.

No matter everyone's confused gaze, Shippo fearlessly raised his head again looking at Shui. "You wonder why we're still alive??"

Shui stared hard at Shippo. No more smiles on her pretty face.

Laughing, Shippo took out three leaves from behind his kimono. Throwing them, the three leaves turned into the figures of himself, Yuki and Sora.

Laughing loudly, Shippo walked over to his copy, Yuki and Sora who were also laughing stared at Shui. "The one you killed and fell into the abyss is—they!!"

That night, in the southern land forest in the fall, Shippo who escaped with Yuki, Sora and Kenji from the pursuit of Shui and his bodyguards, made this impromptu idea.

Using a copy and hiding in a bottle, and supported by high-class acting Kenji who was angry and desperate because he could not save anyone—they managed to fool Shui.

Smiling Shippo couldn't imagine how angry Shui was right now, because he who was behind the screen and toying with the world turned out to be tricked and toyed with by him—a little youkai who wasn't famous at all.

Kenji approached Shippo and patted the head of the little fox youkai. Smiling, she looked at Shui. "How's Shui? My acting that night was great, wasn't it?—makanya I said, I fit as the main character in your skit."

Shui didn't reply to Kenji. His white eyes stared hatefully at the monkey youkai as well as the little fox below.

Yuki who later had managed to control her emotions released herself from Koharu's embrace. His two red eyes looked straight at the confused squirrel youkai eyes. 

"Uncle Koharu," called Yuki while wiping away the tears. Strengthening his feelings, his eyes shone full of determination. Today was the day he had been waiting for, so he should not be afraid. "—yang attacked the village and killed everyone was not a human, but a—youkai."

Surprised, the eyes of everyone who had indeed been fixed on Shippo, Yuki and Sora were wide-eyed by the small youkai confession.

"Dan—," continued Yuki again. Raising his head upwards, his red eyes stared hatefully at the person who had destroyed the village and killed his family members. "The youkai-youkai were subordinates of the neutral land leader, Shui."

Yuki's explanation was like a bomb, the neutral ground youkai bodies trembled in disbelief, while for the eastern, northern and southern land youkai they stared at Shui waiting for an explanation.

"That's lying!!" the voice of Hima, the flower youkai who had long followed Shui suddenly broke the silence. Both of his eyes looked at Yuki not believing what the white rat youkai said. The revered Shui of neutral lands could not have been the mastermind of the destruction of youkai villages in Japan.

Yuki did not show the slightest bit of bitterness even though Hima said she was lying. For the first time, she was grateful she was born as a white mouse youkai—because as a white mouse youkai she could also drag Shui who had destroyed everything he had to justice.

Stepping forward nearing Kenji and Shippo, Yuki looked at both her and Sora's address. Smiling, he nodded softly at Shippo who was looking at him worriedly. "I'm fine, Shippo-kun."

Looking back forward, Yuki took a few breaths. Then, using his right hand, without fear, he gouged out his own right eye.

No matter the blood flowing down or the pain, Yuki then blew his eyeball which was now in the palm of his hand.

The red eyeballs on Yuki's palm shone, and slowly, twinkling, the air that was blown through those red eyes became dense. The longer the bigger, until finally it becomes a big—mirmin.

The white rat youkai from neutral ground was not a strong youkai. They are not youkai fighters with extraordinary destructive power. However, they have one advantage that other youkai don't have their eyes; shinjitsu no akai me.

The white rat youkai is a live recorder. Their red eyes can record everything they see and show it if they want to with one eyeball as payment.

That was the reason why Yuki and Sora continued to follow the youkai who disguised themselves as humans and destroyed the village. Because they want to find and show it to the real world—dalang actually.

Scenes filled the large mirror. A ruined village, a dead youkai, a youkai disguised as a human.

The eyes of all those who are glued to look at what is dear in the mirror. Alternately, from the village of the white rat clan, the village of the white butterfly clan, the village of the blue rabbit clan, the village of the water bird clan, the village of the fire lizard clan and the village of the golden spider. Voice screaming, fire burning—destruction and death.

Then the scene changed again. The youkai disguised as a human kneeling gave their regards to Shui, Shui and his bodyguards who killed them—all of them were clearly emblazoned.

The eyes of the youkai who were staring at the mirror, slowly, looked back at Shui who did not move in the slightest above the night sky. They did not know what to do, but the truth and reality had answered— that destroyed the youkai village in Japan was indeed the neutral land leader; Shui.

The recording is played. The large mirror that Yuki created then broke and disintegrated without a trace. Slightly staggered back, Sora immediately ran over and helped her sister stand up.

"We've made it, Sora." Yuki said softly to Sora. Smile on Yuki's face. Despite having to sacrifice her right eye, she did not feel regretful or sad.

Sora nodded his head while crying. A smile filled his face as well. "Yes—we've made it, Brother."

Kenji and Shippo smile at Yuki and Sora's smiles. Those two little youkai, especially Yuki had already sacrificed enough, and—the sacrifice will not be in vain.

Raising his head looking at Shui, Kenji smiled grinning. His voice broke the silence. "Do you still want to dodge, Shui?"

"Shui-sama, what does this mean?"

"Why Shui-sama?"

The sounds of the cries of the neutral ground youkai were again heard. They asked for an explanation from the leader they had respected all along. They all know the red-eye footage of the white rat clan never lying.

"Curtain!" cibir Inuyasha is upset. He stared dislikefully as Kenji paid no attention to the chaos that was returning. "If you have this kind of information, why don't you just show it from the beginning!? We don't need to fight a war. No one will die except that white-eyed jerk, and also—Sesshoumaru will not get hurt."

Inuyasha's words instantly made Kenji and Shippo stare at the innuanyou in disbelief. The eyes of the two of them looked at him as if checking whether the one in front of them was really the Inuyasha they were familiar with.

"What??" inuyasha asked again full of aggravation stared at like that by Shippo and Kenji.

"Are you right, Inuyasha?" ask Shippo slowly while jumping and pulling the cheek of the inuanyou. "You're defending Sesshoumaru? Since when did your relationship become this familiar?"

"Toga in nature must be crying now, because you sisters are getting along now," Kenji added, wiping away tears that did not know when it had flowed. "Finally the dog could really close its eyes quietly."

A mixed of shame filled Inuyasha's face. Raising his hands, he clasped the heads of Shippo and Kenji. "Silence!!!"

Shippo grumbled in pain as he rubbed his head, as did Kenji. However, a moment later, the monkey youkai smiled. "Calm down, Inuyasha," his green eyes then turned to look at Sesshoumaru who was still on his knees concentrating on healing his wounds. "One or two holes in the heart would not be able to kill Sesshoumaru. To kill him, you must pluck and destroy his heart."

Inuyasha did not reply to Kenji's words again. Silently, he folded his hands on his chest and threw away his face. "I'm not worried about it."

Kenji just came back laughing at Inuyasha's dishonest reaction. "Then" he continued. "No youkai from the west shall die tonight."

Kenji's words made Inuyasha look back at the monkey youkai confused. "What do you mean?"

Kenji looked at Kiri and Kira. "After this commotion is over, find all the bodies of the western land youkai that are deciduous—Sesshoumaru will use tensaiga to revive them."

Kenji's words were softly spoken, but both Takeru and Asano immediately turned their gazes at him.

Kenji realized the views of the two rulers. Smiling a grin, he looked back at the gaze directed at her. "North and East lost many powerful youkai, but—west will not lose anyone. The strong and great western lands will never change."

Both Takeru and Asano were silent and tightly clenched their hands. Kenji's emergence has really ruined everything, now that things have gone awry uncontrollably. This war they have lost many youkai and will not gain the slightest advantage.

Akihiko said nothing. Silent mebisu, he recognizes the cunning of Kenji, the famous shogun of the western lands. The one he was after after waiting for a long time to uncover the truth, it turns out that this— hit the ground east, north, neutral and also; south.

Akihiko seemed to want to laugh seeing the old youkai. How cunning, in this great war, once again, the western lands will come out victorious without the slightest loss. With a tensaiga sword that can turn on those who die, you know, that sword is very dangerous.

Closing his eyes, Akihiko did not think much. He did not feel anger or resentment, for the wolf youkai knew that the southern land forces did not suffer significant losses such as the east and north. The South joined the last battlefield, and the strength of their forces was also balanced with the strength of the forces of the land west.Southland did not fully fall into Kenji's trap.

"Curtainly," Inuyasha's lips didn't care. His eyes looked at Kenji straight."Are you sure Sesshoumaru wants to bring them to life?"

Kenji's reply left Inuyasha stunned. But for a moment, he nodded his head. What the monkey youkai said was true, if Rin opened her mouth, Sesshoumaru would definitely immediately greet her—her brother would never be able to refuse the human woman's request.

Laughing once more, Kenji then raised his head to look at Shui. His black-eyed and green-eyed gaze was directed at the white-eyed youkai. "Hak owns the western lands that you said at our last meeting" he said softly as he hilariously snorted. "I guess you don't even have the right to lead a neutral land anymore—you don't have any rights Shui."

What Kenji said made Shui who was in a cornered position laugh out loud. Crushed was already a friendly and calm expression that usually filled his face. His two white eyes now shone full of madness. Looking at the monkey youkai, he smiled. "I should have killed you that day, Kenji-san. Ahh—I underestimated you too."

Shui's expression and speech made everything else go silent again. The Shui that was in front of them was no longer the Shui that they were familiar with. It turned out that his hospitality was just a mask to control them.

"Good," Shui said again. The smile on his face grew wider. "If I don't have the right, then you think Sesshoumaru and his only son who will die today won't have that right either."

Shui's words instantly made everything that was back stunned.

"This war started with me. But—don't forget. Heir is the only thing that becomes the problem," continued Shui again. Looking around, he shouted loudly. "Destroyer of the balance of the world. Are you willing to let a hanyou become the leader of youkai???"

Shui knew, he would no longer be able to dodge his involvement in the ruined youkai village. But, he doesn't care. If the subtle way doesn't make him get western lands, then the choice is violence. Sesshoumaru and his unborn only child will die today, no matter what happens. The youkai below will have no reason to stop it. Then, when they die, then with his own strength, even though he has to slaughter the rest of the youkai lands west of—he will sit on the empty throne as the new ruler.

Shui's question had a very strong blow to the youkai. Doubt appeared in all of their eyes. Although the initial cause of this war came from Shui, but their real main goal was to stop hanyou from becoming ruler of— to maintain balance.

Asano can see the change in circumstances. Not wasting any time, he opened his mouth to take advantage of the situation. Timur had already suffered a considerable loss, and he couldn't let it go. Therefore, no matter what happens, Shui must not die. That white-eyed Youkai must become the ruler, in other words; Sesshoumaru and his son must die.

"Shui's right!!" asano shouted loudly. His eyes looked around him. "Even though Shui is a sinner, what he says is true. Do not forget our main goal, namely; maintain the balance of this world. Don't let a hanyou ruin everything!!"

"Oh, huh?—so?" inukimi's soft voice suddenly interjected Asano's words.

Surprised, all of them turned to look at Inukimi, who was not far from where Sesshoumaru and the others were.

Standing upright full of elegance, Inukimi's hand hugged something that kept moving but covered her moko-moko. Beside him, Miroku and Kohaku stood guard over him full of vigilance. A second later, an extremely wide smile filled the beautiful face of the former ruler of the western lands.

"Can you repeat your words just now again?"
