Chapter 28's

Inuyasha stroked his neck, his golden eyes staring full of annoyance at the figure of his half-brother. The inuyoukai's hand grip was still stuck to his neck. Never did he think, Sesshoumaru would do that when he delivered the news that Rin had disappeared.

"Since Rin disappeared five days ago, I, Inuyasha, Kaeda-san, Sango, Miroku and Kohaku have been looking everywhere, Brother. We've asked for help from everyone we know I think we'll get word of Rin-chan's whereabouts soon." Clearly Kagome was slow as she looked at Sesshoumaru.

They were now in front of the village entrance, the inuyoukai still looked calm, although beside him, Ah-uh was now cowering in anger, it seemed that the dragon understood what he was saying, while Jaken, was, he was still left behind in the forest where Inuyasha found Sesshoumaru.

Inuyasha furrowed his brows when he heard his wife calling Sesshoumaru 'Sister', and even, in fact, he could also see the dislike in those inuyoukai eyes when Kagome called out to him like that.

"Kagome! Inuyasha!" Call Sango suddenly from a distance. The Taijiya ran up to them followed by Miroku, Kaeda and also Kohaku in the back.

"Hows it? did you guys find Rin-chan?" ask Kagome quickly.

"No, Kagome," Miroku replied softly. "We didn't manage to find the slightest clue to Rin-chan's whereabouts."

Miroku's reply left Kagome speechless, her eyes carefully staring at the figure of Sessshoumaru who was at the side. As he looked at the look on Sesshoumaru's face that remained calm expressionless, he heaved a sigh of relief, it seemed that the inuyoukai was not angry. However, within a matter of a second, Sesshoumaru suddenly moved swiftly gripping Inuyasha's neck and lifting him from above the ground. His golden eyes had now turned blood red.

"Sister!"

"Sesshoumaru-san!"

"Sesshoumaru-sama!"

Shouted Kagome, Miroku, Sango, Kaeda and Kohaku in shock. Inuyasaha tried hard to let go of his neck which was gripped by Sesshoumaru. But, he didn't make it. Instead the grip of the inuyoukai hand grew stronger, "Leave Rin here in your care, but you let her be kidnapped." the normally calm voice without emotion, now turned into a heavy pressure.

No one dared to approach Sesshoumaru or Inuyasha. They all knew, the inuyoukai was angry. Take a wrong step, they may live their lives will be ended.

"Take me off, you son of a bitch! When did you ask me to look after her?!" inuyasha shouted as he pulled the Tessaiga sword from his waist to attack Sesshoumaru. Releasing his hand Sesshoumaru leapt back. Removing Bakusaiga from her scabbard, she also prepared to attack her half-sister.

"Well, it's been a long time since I've seen these two brothers fighting" said Miroku casually staring at Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha.

"It's not the time to say that, Miroku." Sango shook his head, as did Kaeda, while Kohaku could only laugh in nervousness.

"Inuyasha! Osuwari!" yell Kagome strong.

A strong gravitational pressure suddenly, hitting Inuyasha, made the hanyou fall down, "Kagome! What are you doing?!" his screams full of anger stared at Kagome.

"Be quiet You're Inuyasha," Kagome cuek ordered, she turned her head to look at Sesshoumaru hesitantly, "Sister, calm down. This is not the time for that fool. All we have to do now is trace Rin-chan's whereabouts."

Kagome's words made Sesshoumaru's blood-red eyes return to gold. Pointing out his Bakusaiga sword, he looked at Kagome with a face that had returned to being expressionless. "Where was Rin's forest before she was kidnapped?"

"Why is Rin here, Sesshoumaru-sama's mother?" rin asked softly as he looked at the Inuyoukai figure in front of him.

"There's nothing." Inukimi replied, the inuyoukai gave birth to Sesshoumaru. He was sitting on a chair casually staring forward in his room, ignoring Rin who was at the side.

"Nothing?" rin was confused. Looking at Inukimi's face, she again asked a question innocently, "Then, how did Rin get here, Mother Sesshoumaru-sama-sama?"

Rin's question was not answered by Inukimi, his two golden eyeballs staring at the little girl in front of him.

"Given Rin, Rin was in the forest, suddenly Rin heard a voice from behind the bushes, then it was all dark," Rin explained, twitching her eyebrows together, her two big brown eyes looked back at Inukimi, "Mother Sesshoumaru-sama, do you know how Rin got here? Then where is this? Is this place far from the village where Rin lives now?"

Successive questions make Inukimi stare at Rin. His face remained emotionless, but his eyes stared intently at the little girl. Usually, a human being, be it an adult let alone a small child will definitely feel afraid, if in his condition. However, the child in front of him did not show the slightest fear, instead he still dared to follow and ask with endless questions.

"Are you not afraid of me, little girl?" ask Inukimi.

"Fearful?" confusion filled Rin's heart. "Why should Rin be afraid of you, Mother Sesshoumaru-sama-sama?"

"Because of this." A strong wind suddenly appeared on Inukimi's face, cutting her long silver hair back. His fingernails extended, his golden eyes turned blood red, the tip of his lips raised upwards, revealing a pair of long fangs.

Rin who was staring at Inukimi's change did not move in the slightest, her big brown eyes flickered, and still only the confusion that was on her face, "Rin did not understand," he said softly. "What should Rin be afraid of, Sesshoumaru-sama's mother?" tanyanya polo's.

The blood-red eyes widened, a moment later, the eyes turned back into gold, as well as the nails, face and wind that suddenly blew, everything returned to normal. Staring at Rin with a look of disbelief, Inukimi immediately burst out laughing, "You are indeed very attractive, little girl," his hand patted the girl's head.

Rin who did not understand anything, could only stare at Inukimi confusedly.

As her laughter had stopped, Inukimi grinned at Rin, "You want to help me do something, little Rin?"

Sesshoumaru crouched down to touch a dried-up necklace of flowers on a field of flowers. He, Inuyasha, Kagome and the others are in the forest where Rin was kidnapped. Looking around, the inuyoukai knew, Rin must have spent her time here, arranging flowers and singing as usual. Sniffing the smell, he could smell Rin left behind, the pleasant smell, the smell of various flowers, the smell of spring. Then, faintly, he could also smell the youkai smell left behind.

"I've followed the smell left behind, but it disappeared suddenly outside the forest." explained Inuyasha as he folded his hands on his chest and closed his eyes, "I tid—Apaan, Kagome! Don't pull my shirt!" his screams looked at Kagome who was beside him. However, when he saw the pale face of his wife who was looking forward, towards Sesshoumaru, he immediately turned his face to look at his half-brother.

Inuyasha was silent. In front of all of them, Sesshoumaru's golden eyes had turned blood red, the two lines on his cheeks darkened, his lips raised upwards revealing both of his long fangs. Anger emanated so clearly from the body of the inuyoukai, and it made Inuyasha swallow his saliva, never had he seen Sesshoumaru this angry before, even when he cut off his arm in the past, he was not this angry.

"Big brother.." Call Kagome slowly.

Sesshoumaru did not give the slightest reaction to Kagome. He raised his head up looking at the sky. Red smoke suddenly appeared enveloping the body of the inuyoukai, and a second later, the figure of his body had been replaced by the figure of a large white dog leaping up into the sky.

"What a son of a bitch!" inuyasha shouted with anger mixed with confusion.

"This is not the time to shout like that, Inuyasha!" shout Kagome. "We have to go after Brother. With his current condition, he could have just as recklessly killed!"

"Are you sure, this is okay, Mother Sesshoumaru-sama-sama?" rin asked while looking at Inukimi.

"Yes, little Rin," Inukimi replied with a smile. "Just relax, this pain will only be felt for a moment."

Nodding his head, Rin stuck out his right arm at Inukimi. Nibbling on his lower lip, he immediately closed his eyes. With a smile still on his face, Inukimi raised her sharp-nailed right hand, scraping the snow-white skin. The red blood immediately flowed down filling the small bowl available below. Rin did not make the slightest sound, he desperately endured the pain that invaded his arm.

As Rin's blood flowing down successfully filled the small half-mast below, Inukimi immediately stuck out her tongue to lick the wound she made. The saliva of his race might indeed be poisonous, but, their saliva was also a medicine to stop the extremely nourishing wounds. The blood on Rin's arm immediately stopped flowing, as well as the wound, the wound closed.

However, even though the wound had closed, Rin felt her vision blurred, as she had lost quite a lot of blood. His head was heavy and his body was full of energy. A pair of Inukimi's hands immediately hugged the little body, the inuyoukai raised their hands stroking the little girl's hair.

"Mother.." she slowly smiled and handed her consciousness to the darkness.

"You know where Sesshoumaru went, Inuyasha?" asked Kagome who was on Inuyasha's back full of confusion.

"Where do I know, kagome!" Inuyasha replied annoyedly, he ran as fast as he could chase the big white dog that was in front of him, beside them, Kirara ran with Miroku, Sango, on his back, on his back, kohaku and Kaeda are above Ah-uh.

"It seems, Sesshoumaru knows who kidnapped Rin." Miroku.

He knew how much the girl adored the inuyoukai. Without Sesshoumaru, in this world there would never again be a girl named Rin whom they know today.

Kaeda did not say anything, she just stared at the figure of Sesshoumaru. Frowning both of his eyebrows, he only felt as if what he had been thinking was right, Sesshoumaru should have cut all ties with the girl. Sesshoumaru will only bring danger to the sweet girl.

A short silver-haired female inuyoukai stood looking at Inukimi. He didn't say anything, but his two golden eyes stared at the bewildered ruler of the western lands in front of him. Inukimi was sitting with a smile, on her lap, a little human girl was soundly asleep with a smile on her face. Her mokomokonya covered the little girl's body like a blanket, while her clawed hands unceasingly stroked the girl's black hair gently.

"Inukimi-sama, I brought you the kimono you requested." said the woman slowly while handing over a reddish-white kimono with some circular motifs around it.

Inukimi paid no heed to the inuyoukai woman's words, her golden eyes still staring at the figure of the sleeping human girl. The hand that stroked her hair then moved to gently touch the human girl's cheek. "Little Rin, get up," she called softly.

Inukimi's gentle call, as well as a warm touch on her cheek, made Rin open her big brown eyes slowly. When his gaze saw the figure of Inukimi who was smiling gently at him, a wide smile flashed across his bare face. His brown eyes were closed, his cheeks were reddish, happiness was clearly emanated.

Seeing the smile on Rin's face, Inukimi was unable to stem her laughter, she immediately lifted the small body and hugged him tightly. The little girl was indeed human, but she was extremely worried. Her plain and beautiful smile was truly something extremely beautiful, as well as her spring-like body odor, a very pleasant smell. The smile on Rin's face immediately turned into a small laugh, soaking the face in Inukimi's chest, her hands raised in return for the embrace of the inuyoukai.

The short-haired Inuyoukai who was staring at the scene in front of him became increasingly confused. He did not know why Inukimi, the ruler of the western lands could behave like that to a man, and not just Inukimi, even so with his son, Sesshoumaru. He knew that the little girl in front of him was the little girl Sesshoumaru turned on, followed, protected and became the gossip of all youkai in Japan. What was so special about this little human girl, that the daiyoukai that everyone feared could behave like that to her?

Releasing her hand that hugged Rin, Inukimi raised her hand back to caress the black hair of the human girl, "Change your clothes, little Rin," she ordered gently. Rin nodded his head. Slowly, Inukimi turned her head to look at the inuyoukai woman in front of her. Quickly, the inuyoukai knelt down handing the kimono in his hand to Rin.

Rin gazed curiously at the woman inuyoukai, besides Sesshoumaru and Inukimi, this was the first time she had seen another inuyoukai this close. Rin immediately introduces herself, "Hello, my name is Rin. Nice to meet you, Inuyoukai-sama."

Rin's words made the woman inuyoukai stunned, shocked and confused, never had she met a human who was willing to introduce herself a youkai all this time, usually the humans will be scared to death when dealing with youkai.

Inukimi who saw Rin's attitude laughed, and grabbed the little girl's attention, "His name is Left, little Rin. He's my personal bodyguard." he explained.

Staring at Kiri's face once again, Rin immediately smiled broadly, "Rin understood," he said cheerfully, "It's nice to meet you, Kiri-sama."

Rin's smile made Kiri not know what to do, in her long life, this was the first time someone smiled like this at her, an innocent smile full of sincerity. Rin's small hand was then stretched out to receive the kimono on the left hand. Aided by Inukimi, he removed the kimono he wore and replaced it with the kimono.

Rin's eyes immediately widened as she looked at the kimono she was wearing. This kimono is very beautiful, and it is also made of very fine silk fabric. Smiling broadly at Inukimi, Rin wanted to thank her, however, the shoji door of their room suddenly opened, a short-haired male inuyoukai with a face similar to Kiri walked inside, walking inside, followed by a fox youkai behind him who carried an established containing food. The inuyoukai face was expressionless, and as he looked at Inukimi, he lowered his head in salute, as well as the fox youkai behind him.

"Bless your head, Kira." Inukimi ordered the inuyoukai.

As Kira raised her head, her golden eyes immediately met Rin's large brown eyes which looked at her curiously up close. "Why is your face so similar to Kiri-sama's, Kira-sama?" tanyakanya.

"Because we are twin brothers." answered Kira briefly, her eyes looking at Rin, though her expressionless face, curious and confused feelings filled her heart as well, why didn't this little girl show the slightest fear? Why did this girl dare to look at her face this close?

"That's it, huh? Quickly," Rin smiled, "Rin is also happy to meet you, Kira-sama."

Just like Kiri, Kira was stunned to see the smile on Rin's face. He did not know what to say, until his keen sense of hearing caught Rin's loud stomach.

Rin's face instantly turned crimson, she could hear her own loud stomach noises, let alone the youkai who had a keen sense of negation. Laughing, Inukimi looked at the fox youkai who was carrying a well-established meal. The fox Youkai quickly walked up to Rin and placed the establishment in front of the girl.

"Please enjoy Rin-sama's meal" said the fox youkai slowly.

The word 'sama' that the fox Youkai used made Rin furrow her brows, she did not understand why she was called out with such respect. However, before she asked him, Inukimi suddenly lifted the small body of rin and placed it on her lap. His hand then moved to pick up the chopsticks and began to bribe food into Rin's mouth, "Open your mouth, little Rin. You've reported it."

Rin did not understand what Inukimi had in mind while doing all this to her, however, she did not reject it either, immediately opening her mouth to eat the proffered food. A wide smile adorned his face, Inukimi's demeanor really made his heart feel very warm and joyful, vaguely, he could remember, this was the feeling he had felt back then while indulging in his mother, the feeling he thought he would never feel again.

Inukimi smiled back at Rin. The little girl in front of him was so sweet, looking at him, not knowing why, her maternal instinct rose. When was the last time he felt these feelings? It seems like it was centuries ago. And, when is there a child who wants to spoil him? The answer is; there never was. Sesshoumaru, her only son never spoiled her. His son was too calm, independent and there was no sweetness at all. She never gave herself the opportunity to do the things she wanted to do as a mother would.

As Rin finished her meal, as Inukimi finished cleaning her mouth with the handkerchief available above the firmly established, she stared fixedly at the inuyoukai face. Slowly, he suddenly rose and softly kissed the right cheek of the inuyoukai, surprising everyone, including Inukimi.

Rin's face flushed red, she knew what she was doing might not be polite, but this was what she used to do when she wanted to thank her mother. Looking at Inukimi timidly, she whispered softly, "T-thank you, Mother. I-I mean, thank you, Mother Sesshoumaru-sama-sama.."

Inukimi was completely unable to resist the feelings that flooded her heart again, she quickly hugged the little girl tightly in her lap. This girl is really very sweet. He wants! She wanted this girl to be her daughter. He would definitely pamper her to the fullest, nice kimono, good food, toys and everything, he would give it to this little girl his little princess—.

"Call me, Mother," Inukimi ordered without letting go of her embrace. "From today, call me Mother, little Rin."

Rin's eyes widened at Inukimi's orders. This high-status Inuyoukai was willing to let himself who was a despicable human call her 'Mother'? happiness filled his heart, laughing wide, he immediately returned the embrace, his mouth immediately opened saying a word that had not been said for a long time, namely, "I-Mother.. Mother, mother, mother..."

"Don't the son of a bitch know what it means to take a break?" inuyasha shouted with anger. It had been half a day more that he and the others chased after Sesshoumaru in the figure of the big white dog running in front, he had started to get tired, as well as the others.

"Ugh..," grumbled Kagome who was on Inuyasha's back. "I don't think Big Brother is tired in the least, Inuyasha."

"Then, may I stop and rest for a while, Kagome?" ask Inuyasha.

"Can't!" kagome shouted as she raised her hand hitting Inuyasha on the head. "We mustn't let Brother roam unattended in this kind of condition, fool!"

Inuyasha was silent at Kagome's remark, his head was not exhausted thinking, actually, what was in his wife's mind now? Wandering without supervision? What does he think Sesshoumaru is? Since Sesshoumaru had Bakusaiga, he knew, as much as possible, he did not want to be an opponent or enemy inuyoukai it again. Sesshoumaru was strong, so strong that it frightened him, although yes, he would not be able to admit it to anyone, including Kagome.

Fear suddenly struck Inuyasha's heart. What if Rin gets hurt or worse; dies? If that were to happen, judging Sesshoumaru's current rage-filled attitude, he would definitely go berserk, and by then, there would be no more who might be able to stop him, unless they. Nah! Inuyasha doesn't want to do that! He was no longer willing to do something that harmed Kagome and the others! Not because of cowardice or anything, because he did know, they were no longer a match for that inuyoukai in front of him.

"Geeh!" inuyasha cried out in frustration all of a sudden, "You better still be alive and not have the slightest injury, little girl!"
