Chapter 69's

"You still feeling tired or unwell, Rin-chan?" kagome asked looking at Rin sitting in front of her.

Rin shook his head. "No, Kagome-sama. Rin is fine."

"Where, Rin, Kagome?" inuyasha asked Kagome who was sitting on the porch of the room staring at the blue sky outside.

"Why are you worried like that, Inuyasha," Kagome laughed at Inuyasha's reaction. "Didn't you agree with our plan to let Rin-chan and Akihiko-san?"

Inuyasha fell silent at Kagome's question. Pouting in dislike, he walked up to that future miko and sat down beside her. Folding his hands on his chest, the inuhanyou was throwing away his face. "Rin is my sister. I don't want anything bad to happen to her."

Kagome laughed again. "I don't think Akihiko-san will harm Rin-chan. You're worried about something that's not necessary."

Akihiko's smile grew wider at Rin's question. "You choose it for me, Rin."

Nodding his head again, Rin again chose some namagashi for Akihiko.

The stall owner immediately wrapped the candy Rin had chosen. With a smile on his face, full of caution and courtesy, he gave it to the human girl. "Please, hime-sama."

"Shut up!!" akihiko's angry voice came back to make the little girl scared.

Rin turned her head to look at the angry Akihiko and returned a small smile. "It's okay, Akihiko-sama."

The hime smile from the west once again made Akihiko stunned again. Confusion filled him, the ruler of the southern land was eager to kill and shut the mouth of the little girl who bravely exposed the secrets of this human city to Rin. Only, he could not, because Rin was in front of him now.

This human city was a city he had deliberately helped. Building a magnificent building, mowing it and giving money to the townspeople, Akihiko wants the inhabitants of this city to obey his orders–command to accept and honor it. For, the ruler of the southern lands wanted to show Rin; unlike the west and Sesshoumaru, he accepted humans and humans accepted them.
