Chapter 39's

"May Rin ask you something, Mother?" rin asked slowly while looking at Inukimi. Both of his hands were still carrying Shiro who was asleep quietly. "Why and since when was Mother in this village?"

Inukimi's question quickly made everyone turn their faces to stare at the former Western Land Ruler's inuyoukai. Rin's question was right, they all didn't know why and since when the inuyoukai had been in their village.

Inukimi laughed at Rin's question. "The mother has been in this village since three months ago, little Rin."

"What?" everyone who was there was surprised.

"No way!" inuyasha half yelled. "I don't smell or feel your aura at all. You can't have been in this village since three months ago!"

Staring at Inuyasha with a look of disdain, Inukimi then closed his eyes. "Never believe anything that people say, and always consider himself the most righteous. It turns out that you inherited the qualities of Fuck Taisho before meeting Sweet Izayoi, Son of Taisho."

"Eh?" inuyasha exclaimed in surprise, as again he heard the name of his late biological mother slide out from his Father's first wife.

Opening his eyes, Inukimi looked back at Inuyasha. "Your panic about the strange miko condition and Taisho's granddaughter has blinded you. That's why you never realized my existence was hiding the smell and aura."

Inuyasha was silent a thousand languages heard Inukimi's reply. He realized, what the inuyoukai said was true, after Kagome's condition worsened, he could never calm down. Worry, fear, confusion and panic became the feelings that filled his heart from morning opening his eyes to night closing his eyes.

"Don't you feel weird? Although the strange miko was getting weaker by the day, she was still able to endure to the end," Inukimi asked calmly with a small smile. "That's because I always put body-boosting potions into her diet."

Inukimi's words again surprised everyone. They all could not believe what they heard, however, seeing Inukimi, they also knew, that inuyoukai was impossible to lie. Although he looks strange and liking at will, he is not the type of person who likes to lie.

"really?" rin asked suddenly, a bright smile splashed on her beautiful face. "Thank you, Mother! Mother is great! Rin thanks you very much for being willing to help Kagome-sama, Inuyasha-sama and Shiro from the very beginning!"

Inukimi's eyes did not blink hearing Inuyasha's repeated question. Except for Rin and Myoga who were visibly confused, all of them held their breath in silence, waiting for Inukimi's reply full of vigilance and anticipation.

"My husband.. Fuck Taisho.." stammered Inukimi mentioned Inu No Taisho's name with wide eyes. Silent for a moment, he then closed his eyes and lowered his face down.

Guilt instantly filled Inuyasha's heart. He became feeling guilty and uneasy towards the Inuyoukai in front of him. Although she was Sesshoumaru's mother, she had already helped him, Kagome and Shiro. They owe him. He was disrespectful and rude. The question just now must have been very sensitive for Inukimi. Which woman is happy if asked that way by her husband's son from another woman.

"I-Inuyasha, ask for ma—" said Kagome quickly, understanding her husband had made a mistake. However, as he had not yet finished his words, Inukimi suddenly raised her head up and laughed out loud to the surprise of everyone.

"I-yes. H-servant here." Reply Myoga quickly while jumping down from Miroku's shoulder and saluting full of fear. In contrast to Inu No Taisho, he was never able to estimate the Inukimi attitude that he knew was always beyond expectations.

"Tell me!" inukimi orders while laughing. "When did I become Taisho's scumbag wife? Or in our world, when did I become his legal partner?"

"Eh?" Excite all that exists except Rin. Inukimi's question instantly also made them come back shocked.

"I'm not your real father's legal wife or partner" Inukimi explained. "I'm perfect is too good for that son of a bitch."

"But" Inuyasha replied. The confusion in his heart had overcome the fear and also the vigilance he should have felt for his closeness to Inukimi. "You're Sesshoumaru's real mother, aren't you? You're supposed to be Dad's wife, right?"

Releasing his hand, Inukimi then smiled slightly. "Do I have to be your father's legal wife or partner to give birth to Sesshoumaru?"

"Eh?"

"Me and Fuck Taisho are still relatives and friends. Coming from the Inuyoukai clan of the Western Land Rulers," Inukimi explained with a smile still on her face. "In the west, long ago, we were both the strongest. And for the sake of the west as well, we know, we need a younger generation; a strong successor. That's why Sesshoumaru was born, my son and Taisho, inuyoukai the result of the union of the two strongest inuyoukai."

"-you mean?"

As she looked at Kagome and Shiro, she knew, she could die for them, because she loved them so much. Then, for a father who has not been with him since he was born, for a father who died protecting his mother and himself, how big is his love? Is this how much his father loves him and his mother? How sad his heart was, but it was also undeniable how happy he was. His father loved him, truly loved him, this was the first time he realized and felt it.

His wife is fine, his son has survived, and he has learned the true reality of the love of his biological father who never raised him. Yep! "Ohhhh!" rin's shout suddenly shocked everyone there. Rising from her seat, the human girl quickly handed Shiro who was in her carrier to the panicked Inuyasha. "Inuyasha-sama! Rin forgot! "Pardon Rin! Forgive Rin for being late to Sesshoumaru-sama!" his door stammered as he arrived in front of Sesshoumaru. Trying to catch his irregular breath, he patted his chest which suddenly hurt from running fast.

Sesshoumaru did not reply to Rin's words. He just stared at the girl. Observing his clothes, he could see and smell some bloodstains that filled his red kimono. He did not like it, he would make sure this human girl in front of him to replace and burn the dirty kimono he wore until it became ashes later.

Sitting beside Sesshoumaru, Rin who had started to calm down, immediately smiled broadly at the inuyoukai. "Have been born Sesshoumaru-sama! The men! Your niece is born! Rin gave it a name. Called Shiro! You should see it, Sesshoumaru-sama!"

Rin's two hands then clasped Sesshoumaru's. Rising from his seat, he tried to meanarik inuyoukai the ruler of the western land. The big smile on his face grew wider. "Will you see it, Sesshoumaru-sama? With Rin, Rin is eager for Shiro to see Sesshoumaru-sama!"

When the shoji door of Inuyasha's room and the others were opened, none of them could hide the feeling of surprise in their hearts when they saw Sesshoumaru standing at the door with Rin smiling widely, except Inukimi and Jaken. For the two of them, Sesshoumaru who granted Rin's request was no longer a shocking story.

"Inuyasha-sama," call Rin quickly. Releasing her hand that Sesshoumaru was holding, she immediately ran up to Inuyasha who was still holding Shiro. It was not realized by him how disturbed the Inuyoukai Sovereign of the Western Land was from losing the warmth of his hand. "Let Rin hold Shiro for a bit, huh? Inuyasha was stunned to hear Rin's request. Staring at Sesshoumaru for a moment, he thought to himself, may he hand Shiro over to Rin now? For Sesshoumaru who hated hanyou and humans, it was possible, he would harm his son.

"It's okay, Inuyasha," interrupted Kagome suddenly with a small smile. He knew what Inuyasha had in mind now. "Silver can't hurt Shiro."

Sesshoumaru remained expressionless hearing the remarks as well as what Inuyasha was thinking. To harm? He feels insulted! It would be foolish if Inuyasha thought he would harm a helpless newborn baby. His pride and his normalcy could not possibly allow him to do so low.

Sighing, Inuyasha finally handed Shiro in his carry to Rin. "Be careful, yes.."

Rin immediately nodded his head as he accepted Shiro with a smile on his face. "Yes! Aye! Rin understands!"

All eyes in the room followed Rin as she walked closer to Sesshoumaru. Everyone held their breaths and waited for Sesshoumaru's reaction upon seeing Shiro for the first time. Inukimi who was there just smiled, her eyes twinkling with laughter, because she knew that her real son did not want to be where he was standing right now. However, again because of Rin, the proud inuyoukai held back. No one knows, not even Sesshoumaru himself, the fact that Rin has managed to embrace the Western Land Ruler inuyoukai in his small hands.

"Sesshoumaru-sama!" call Rin cheerful, while showing Shiro to Sesshoumaru. "Shiro! Look, this is Shiro!"

Seshoumaru lowered his eyes to look at Shiro who was in Rin's arms. Looking at him, he could only think how similar the baby hanyou was to Inuyasha. The nose, mouth, hair, ears of the dog, and also he knew, even though his eyes were closed, those eyes must be golden in color like him. No doubt, the little hanyou in Rin's arms is really Inuyasha's son. Grunting softly, Sesshoumaru could only hope, that the baby hanyou did not inherit his father's stupidity, even though Sesshoumaru felt that what he expected was in vain.

Laughing happily, Rin then looked at Shiro for a moment. "Shiro is so handsome, huh? So far, Shiro is the prettiest and funniest baby Rin has ever seen. Rin thinks Shiro must be the most beautiful baby there is."

"Kagome!" yelled someone suddenly and made everyone, except Sesshoumaru and Inukimi stare at the source of the voice coming from behind the Inuyoukai Sovereign of the Western Land.

"Kago—" the voice of the shout instantly came to a halt as he realized Sesshoumaru's whereabouts. His small body immediately shook violently. "S-Sesshoumaru.."

Looking over the head from behind Sesshoumaru's body, Rin was shocked to see who was behind his master. A little fox youkai who was his childhood playmate; shippo.

"Shippo!' call Rin quickly full of excitement.

"R-Rin.." Shippo stammered back when he saw Rin. Several years without meeting, he could hardly believe the figure of Rin who is now in front of him. It is undeniable that the human girl has now really grown up very beautiful. It turns out that the stories he heard that the human girl who is the adopted daughter of Inukimi and the girl in the guardianship of Sesshoumaru is the most beautiful girl in Japan is not at all wrong.

Not knowing what to say, Shippo could only be fascinated staring at the baby hanyou in Rin's arms. Raising her hands slowly, she tried to touch Shiro's cheek. "Dragon your mouth, Miroku." Sango ordered as he slapped Miroku's shoulder slowly. Although in her heart, she quite agreed with what her husband said, as well as Kohaku, Jinenji and Kaede who had been silent from earlier.

Inuyasha's eyes and everything else were wide-eyed, except for Rin who didn't know anything Sesshoumaru remained expressionless while Inukimi chuckled. Inuyasha's face flushed red, Kagome's sudden confession of love left her clueless as to what to do. His wife had never behaved like this before, confessing her feelings in front of the crowd without a second thought. However, looking at that happy face, he knew, the shame as well as everyone's gaze, it was all completely unimportant. Approaching Kagome, ignoring the people's support, she immediately hugged the miko tightly. Little laugh, he kissed his wife's soft forehead. "I knew. I love you too.."

Sango, Miroku, their sons laughed at Inuyasha's words. Kohaku, Myoga, Inukimi, Jinenji and Kaede smiled. Shippo and Jaken, grumbling to see Inuyasha's attitude, although in fact they also smile.
