Chapter 106's

Akiko stared straight at the figure of the inuyoukai ruler of the western land that was now in front of him. The figure never changes, always beautiful and full of pride—the figure of the most perfect true youkai nobleman.

Akiko recalled the first time she saw the inuyoukai. At that time, the new Sesshoumaru who served as the ruler of the western lands came to visit the eastern lands for the border affairs of the two regions.

"Sesshoumaru, meet me, this is my daughter, Akiko." Asano smilingly introduced his only daughter to the inuyoukai lord of the western lands who stood silently in front of him.

Akiko did not say a greeting even though Asano introduced her, as her blue eyes were focused on the inuyoukai in front of her. Long silver hair and a pair of golden eyes. His beautiful face was expressionless, however, his calm appearance and also the terrifying aura emanating—he was just perfect.

"Akiko," called Asano again with a laugh. "Don't be disrespectful."

Akiko soon came to a realization with her disrespectful attitude. Bending over, he immediately saluted with his best smile. "Akiko, Hime from the east is greeting you, Sesshoumaru-sama."

Sesshoumaru did not return Akiko's greeting. Silently silent with an unchanged facial expression, he then looked at Asano. "Sesshoumaru doesn't want to waste time—we go straight to the heart of the conversation."

Akiko was stunned by Sesshoumaru's attitude. Raising his head, he saw that the ruler of the western land was not looking at him at all. There was anger in his heart that appeared, he did not like that inuyoukai attitude that did not care about him.

Asano laughed again. Slowly, he then moved his hand and guided Sesshoumaru sitting in his study. "Akiko, make some tea." he ordered.

Akiko smiled and hid the emotions in her heart. Not wasting any time, immediately, he brewed tea for his father as well as Sesshoumaru.

Standing beside Asano, Akiko just silently silently watched her father and Sesshoumaru discuss the issue of territory, and the more she looked, the more she liked the inuyoukai.

Sesshoumaru was very handsome and from the aura that emanated, Akiko knew. This Inuyoukai is also very powerful. Then, most importantly he was the ruler of a western land that was so prosperous and large. If she were to be his kisak, she would be a woman above all women. Honor, position and power—all of it will be his.

"Akiko," call Asano then. He smiled looking at his daughter who was still at the side when their conversation had finished. "Take Sesshoumaru to the prepared room."

A smile immediately filled Akiko's face. He knows what his father wants. Long before Sesshoumaru arrived at the eastern land palace, Asano had reminded him to grab the attention of the powerful inuyoukai, and—Akiko was very fond of it.

"Come on, Sesshoumaru-sama," Akiko said slowly. "Hamba will take you to your room that we have provided."

Sesshoumaru did not say anything, but he followed Akiko stepping out of Asano's study.

Going slowly, Akiko tried to open a conversation with Sesshoumaru, but no matter what he said, the inuyoukai did not give the slightest reaction—as if he did not exist.

However, the moment they entered the garden, a tree of cherry blossom beautifully attracted the attention of Sesshoumaru. Leaving Akiko, the inuyoukai walked up to the sakura tree and looked at her straight.

Akiko follows Sesshoumaru bangtung. Silent in silence, he saw the inuyoukai slowly raising his right hand to gently touch the cherry blossoms.

"Do you like cherry blossoms, Sesshoumaru-sama?" ask Akiko slowly. He could clearly see that emotionless golden eyes were now shining softly as if he was looking at something he really liked.

Sesshoumaru remained silent, and Akiko did not bother about it either, as she realized, this inuyoukai is not the type of youki who likes to talk. However, unexpectedly, this time the ruler of the western land answered him.

"Sesshoumaru doesn't like sakura. But, Rin likes it."

Akiko came to her senses from her memory a few years ago. Anger rules his heart. That day was the day where he met Sesshoumaru for the first time, as well as, the day where he realized the presence of a human named—Rin.

Rin's.

Rin is a human girl who turned on Sesshoumaru and followed him. Confusion is the first thing that Akiko felt when she found out the existence of the girl named Rin was—isn't Sesshoumaru really hate humans?

However, once he learned more about the human girl, the confusion in his heart immediately turned into anger. The human girl is the adopted daughter of Inukimi, the former ruler of the western lands, and not only that, the human girl was also loved and praised all those in west—hime of western lands.

In the youkai world, for hundreds of years, Akiko was the only hime that existed. Suddenly, a new hime appeared.

Praise after praise for the western land hime continued to sound. About how beautiful she was, how smart she was, how kind, gentle and charming the human girl was. Then, not knowing from when, if someone youkai were to discuss the hime of the youkai world, it was the hime of the western lands that they would remember first, not again, Akiko, it was, hime of the land of the east and heir to the land of the east.

Akiko never hated someone like this. If only he could, he wanted to kill him right then and there. But, he could do nothing, because he realized, the east is not the opponent of the west. Desperation filled his heart, until finally one word Asano, his father resuscitated him.

Why did Sesshoumaru choose a human? Akiko believes that although the ruler of the western land is indeed interested in the human girl, meido is the biggest reason. Such an incredible power, Sesshoumaru could not possibly let it fall on others.

But, in the future, for such a large and prosperous western land, Sesshoumaru would need a powerful heir–heir who was a true youkai; not a hanyou, no, and that's when the inuyoukai will know, who it really should choose, who the real western land kisaki.

Akiko knows, she must wait until that moment arrives, and to destroy the human girl she hates, he also deliberately created ambiguous rumors about her in the human world—he wanted to see what the human girl's life was like after being banished by Sesshoumaru.

Re-enforcing her body, Akiko's smile widened. "Hamba came to offer himself a servant to give birth to an heir of the western land for you, Sesshoumaru-sama."

Sesshoumaru was a youkai who disliked pleasantries, therefore, Akiko immediately said the intention of his arrival.

"You don't want a child just to be the heir of a western land, right?—Hamba can help you give birth to a son with true youkai blood, not like a human woman is a han—" Akiko continued. However, the sound of a shout full of anger suddenly sounded along with the door of the room being slammed open.

"Damn you Sesshoumaru!!! What does this mean!!!!"

Akiko turned her face back, and saw Inuyasha walking in with a face full of anger. However, that innuanyou did not care about him, he headed straight towards Seashoumaru.

"So this is your main reason for forcing Rin to abort her first child?!" clutching the collar of Sesshoumaru's kimono, Inuyasha looked at him sharply. "You're a real jerk!!"

Sesshoumaru returned the gaze of Inuyasha's eyes flat. He already knew from earlier the inuanyou who was hiding and listening to the conversation within this space outside. But, deep down, he really did not understand the way he thought that. What did he mean just now?

"I won't let you play Rin!! I'll take him back to the human village!!" inuyasha continued, no longer caring, his grip grew stronger.

Slowly, Sesshoumaru's right hand was raised grasping Inuyasha's. His face remained flat, yet his eyes became extremely sharp full of intimidation. "Inuyasha," he called slowly. "Shut up."

Sesshoumaru's command and gaze instantly made Inuyasha speechless. However, the sound of Akiko's laughter behind her suddenly sounded.

"This is not your place to talk, hanyou." Akiko's smile, her eyes staring in disgust at Inuyasha.

"What did you say??" releasing her hand grip on the collar of Sesshoumaru's kimono, Inuyasha turned her back to look at Akiko. "Repeat one more time!!"

Akiko's smile grew wider. "This is not where you speak Hanyou. Even though you have Inu No Taisho's blood on your veins, you're still just a weak hanyou."

"What's wrong with hanyou??" hardik Inuyasha's. His two eyes glowed full of anger directed at Akiko.

"Because hanyou is weak." Akiko laughed loudly, his two blue eyes staring at Inuyasha contemptuously, as if this inuanyou was a figure that should not exist in this world. "Because hanyou is the most despicable creature in the world."

"You!!!!" yell Inuyasgha again. He really wanted to pull out the tessaiga sword and attack Akiko right now.

Akiko did not care about Inuyasha, she then turned her face to stare at the silent Sesshoumaru. "Hamba will give birth to a true youkai son for you, Sesshoumaru-sama. Not just like kisaki west land—putra strong and will look west for you."

"Hey!! What do you mean!!?" Inuyasha once again shouted and stared dislikefully at Akiko. Really, this fox youkai is more shameless than Miroku. At least, his friend never asked a married woman to give birth to her child. This is! Akiko happily and proudly volunteered to give birth to the child of someone else's husband??

Sesshoumaru looked at Akiko in silence. Don't want a son of a hanyou? The heirs of the west? Real youkai? Son?—inuyoukai it can only think in the heart, what kind of rumors circulating in the world youkai about Rin's pregnancy.

Not wanting a child from Rin who is a hanyou—Sesshoumaru did think like that. But, it was because of Rin's life, not because her son was a hanyou.

His sword, his palace, his power; everything he had, those were the only heirs of the western lands.

"This son of Sesshoumaru," said Sesshoumaru then quietly. His voice was as emotionless as ever. "There will forever be only one person, and he is the son that Rin will be born with, Kisaki lands west of—he is the only rightful heir to the western lands."

Akiko's smile disappeared upon hearing Sesshoumaru's words. A feeling of shock and disbelief filled his heart. Did he not hear wrong? The only legitimate heir to the western lands?

Inuyasha was also stunned to hear Sesshoumaru's words. He silently turned his head to look at his half-brother.

"The child he was born with was a hanyou!! You have no intention of making a weak hanyou as the heir to the western lands right?—west will be destroyed!!" akiko shouted with anger.

"This Sesshoumaru Son will never be weak." Reply Sesshoumaru calmly.

"Well!! You hear that?!" inuyasha's laughter happily stared at Akiko. Perhaps this was the first time he felt Sesshoumaru had said something true all along. "Sesshoumaru doesn't need you, so get out of here!!"

Akiko's words were unresolved, having not known since when, Sesshoumaru had been in front of him. The hand of the western earth-wielding inuyoukai strangled his neck strongly and lifted him upwards.

"Inuyasha is indeed weak and useless." said Sesshounaru slowly.

"Hey!! What do you mean, you son of a bitch!!??" hardik Inuyasha is upset. Does this Sesshoumaru never change? Akiko simply called it weak, and the inuyoukai casually added the word 'Not useful'. However, Sesshoumaru's subsequent remark made the inuhanyou stunned.

"—but, only this Sesshoumaru can call it that."

Akiko who was not breathing, hit and clawed Sesshoumaru's hand. However, the peck on his neck did not weaken in the slightest. Moreover, the pair of golden eyes that looked at him—he could feel the murderous lust that existed.

"Blood from the west, blood from my father, and also blood from me— will never be weak; no one can underestimate it."

Finished saying that, Sesshoumaru released Akiko's neck which immediately fell down and coughed. Not caring for it in the least, the Inuyoukai then stepped out of the room where they were.

Inuyasha did not move. Standing in his place, slowly, his golden eyes followed the figure of Sesshoumaru. His heart was beating so fast, those words spoken by inuyoukai imprinted on his heart.

'Only this Sesshoumaru can call it this.'

'Blood from the west, blood from my father, and also blood from me— will never be weak; no one can underestimate it.'

Did Sesshoumaru defend her from Akiko? Then, western blood, my father's blood—did Sesshoumaru have admitted their father's blood was the same flowing in his veins? Does Sesshoumaru acknowledge the blood ties that exist between them?

Unconscious and also unstoppable, slowly, both ends of Inuyasha's lips lifted upwards, forming a wide smile. With her eyes sparkling excitedly, she ran after Sesshoumaru leaving Akiko alone.

"Wait for me, motherfucker!!"

Rin sits on the futon in her room and Sesshoumaru looks at Inukimi and Kagome. From the open veranda, he could also see Shiro, Mamoru, Aya and Maya who were playing in the courtyard.

"Akiko from the east? What's he here for?" muttered Kagome quietly.

Inukimi did not say anything, but she also thought what the purpose of Akiko coming west was to visit Sesshoumaru. There has been no change in western and eastern relations lately, except Sesshoumaru who refused the marriage—mata Inukimi soon fell asleep at the thought of what Asano offered at the beginning of spring this year.

Kagome could see the change in Inukimi's calm facial expression becoming shocked and then becoming angry. "Inukimi-san, can you guess why Akiko came here?" ask me the future is slow.

Inukimi did not answer Kagome's question. The anger on his face made him grin and rub his sharp fangs to a sound.

"What's up, Mother?" tanya Rin was worried about Inukimi's attitude.

Rin's voice immediately awakened Inukimi from her anger. Closing her eyes, she then took a breath and calmed herself down. As he opened his eyes again, the former ruler of the western land looked at his son-in-law and smiled. "Mother is okay, little Rin."

Inukimi's smile makes Rin smile, "What's bothering your mind, mother?" ask Rin slowly.

"I was thinking about the reason the fox came here and I felt, he came here for the purpose of targeting—Sesshoumaru." Answer Inukimi slowly. He knows, Akiko is interested in Sesshoumaru. But, he knew better, if what Akiko really wanted was—the ruler of the western lands.

The eastern land was a weak region, and Asano's power as ruler was also not strong, let alone Akiko's position as heir to the eastern land. That's why, she needs strong support.

"Eh??" rin and Kagome were shocked.

"You mean, hime came west to target Brother's life?" ask Kagome quickly.

"No," Inukimi replied while shaking her head. "I mean he came here with the intention of warming Sesshoumaru's bed."

"Eh??" exciting Kagome and also—Rin.

"Akiko has long been eyeing Sesshoumaru and intends to become a western land kisaki" explained Inukimi not to care about Rin and Kagome's reaction. "If I don't understand why she dared to come so blatantly like this now—does she not see my daughter-in-law pregnant?"

Kagome was speechless at Inukimi's explanation. He did not know what to say, the way of thinking youkai and humans are very different, it seems they do not have moral ethics or tolerance. However, soon the future miko was conscious with Rin who was beside her. Panic fills the heart, how would a woman feel if she knew there was another woman who had openly come and intended to warm her husband's bed?

Rin did not say anything, nor did the look on his face change. Digesting Inukimi's words, she slowly lowered her gaze on her stomach.

"Rin," call Kagome quick. The panic in his heart grew bigger seeing the reaction of the pregnant mother. "Calm down, you can't betray me."

Kagome's words made Rin raise her head to look at the future miko and smile. Rubbing his stomach, he nodded his head slowly.

Inukimi, who saw Rin's smile, soon realized what she had just said. But, he felt that his daughter-in-law would rather know this soon than too late.

"Little Rin," Sighing, Inukimi then called Rin slowly and made the human woman and Kagome turn her face to look at him.

"You know," Inukimi said softly. However, his face was very serious. "Sesshoumaru it—anjing."

"Eh????" rin and Kagome are together again. But this time I was surprised by something different. Is Inukimi cursing her own child?

"Yes, Sesshoumaru is a dog, "repeated Inukimi while nodding her head with an unchanged facial expression. "While he looks like a man, never forget that his true form is a dog from the west."

Rin and Kagome soon awakened from their shock at Inukimi's explanation. They clearly remember Sesshoumaru's original form, but—heard Inukimi out loud and a serious face said Sesshoumaru was a dog, not knowing why it felt so—ane.

Inukimi, who was unaware of what Rin and Kagome were thinking, continued. "And, that dog—setia. Sesshoumaru will never be able to betray you. His instincts won't allow."

Inukimi's words, Rin knew, it was to convince Sesshoumaru. Smiling gently, he then nodded his head. "Rin understands. Thank you, mother."

Another woman.

Rin had never thought about that possibility all along. But now he would not want to think about it. Sesshoumaru who is beautiful, strong and powerful—a ruler of thousands of respected youkai. In her life, would she be the only woman she had? In the future, when he is gone, will the inuyoukai still have it in their hearts?—does it, there will be a replacement?

In contrast to him being a human, Sesshoumaru was a daiyoukai who could live for thousands of years. In that long life—how selfish he is, if he hopes there will be no other woman.

Rin loves Sesshoumaru, but, from all that, she wishes her beloved youkai; happy. Being able to be with him until the end of his life, Rin is satisfied, can be his wife and mother of his child, Rin already will not ask for anything. Therefore, if at any time, Sesshoumaru has another woman—he will not mind.

Loving Sesshoumaru, Rin does so with all her soul and body. If the inuyoukai it wants, if the inuyoukai it is happy and satisfied—he will not fuss; he just wants Sesshoumaru happy.

The sound of the shoji door opening immediately made everyone in the room turn their faces to the source of the sound, and the smiles on Rin's face widened as they saw who was coming; Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha.

"Sesshoumaru-sama." call Rin while laughing.

As usual, Sesshoumaru walked towards Rin. Not saying anything with an unchanging facial expression, he immediately sat behind the human woman.

"Alright," Inukimi laughed loudly at Sesshoumaru's attitude which was no longer strange to him. He did not ask his son at all the intention of Akiko's arrival. Stepping out past Inuyasha, his laughter grew louder. "Since you're back, I'll go back to my room as well. Little Rin, you just rest."

"We will also return to the room" Kagome continued. He could see Shiro, Mamoru, Aya and Maya who were in the garden frightened by the sudden presence of Sesshoumaru. "Call me if you need help."

Rin laughed and nodded his head. "Thank you, Kagome-sama."

Standing up, Kagome then called out to the children who immediately ran towards their room.  Sighing, slowly, he shook his head and walked out. The future Miko did not say anything more, but she gave a small smile when she saw the closeness of a couple in the room before closing the door.

Pulling Inuyasha's strange hand from silent silence to their room, a small frown filled Kagome's face. "Inuyasha, what's wrong with you?"

"What's wrong with me?" ask Inuyasha back.

"You—smiles constantly," replied Kagome puzzled. She could see clearly, a wide smile on her husband's face that was usually always cranky and gluttonous. "You look so happy."

"Cih," clucked dislike, Inuyasha threw away his face. But, a smile remained fluffy on his handsome face. "It's none of your business."

"What did you say??? Explain to me what happened!!" kagome shouted in annoyance. Looking at Inuyasha's attitude, he knew he had missed something important.

Kagome and Inuyasha's voice deepened, and as things turned quiet again, Rin leaned her back against Sesshoumaru's chest. Looking at the inuyoukai, he smiled. "What business is it Akiko-sama coming to the west, Sesshoumaru-sama?"

Sesshoumaru did not directly answer Rin's question. Slowly, she wrapped her hands around the woman and the child in her stomach. "It's not important business."

"All right." Laughing, Rin did not ask further about Akiko's arrival. Sesshoumaru said it doesn't matter—and it doesn't matter what it is.

As if agreeing with the mother's mind, the child in Rin's womb moved back, making himself and Sesshoumaru surprised.

"This child is really your son, Rin." Sesshoumaru's smile looked at Rin with his pair of gentle eyes. Their children are really active.

Rin laughed widely, but, he did not reply to Sesshoumaru's words. Maybe the inuyoukai speech is true, maybe their child will be similar to him later. Slowly, with a gentle smile on her face, she stroked her stomach gently lovingly. "Rin loves you, Sesshoumaru-sama also loves you—we always love you..."

Sesshoumaru's smile only grew wider hearing Rin's soft words. Closing her eyes, she then buried her face in the crevice of the human woman's neck in her arms, smelling the smell of eternal spring that had changed slightly due to her pregnancy. Slowly, his hands also moved to stroke the stomach where he knew their child was.

Their boy.

His son and Rin. Today's talk rounds out Sesshoumaru's decision, forever, he will have no other children besides this child. Because it was forever too, the position of this child will never be replaced—the only heir to the land of the west that exists.
