Chapter 49's

His sky blue eyes looked straight at the human girl clapping in front of him. The girl's brown eyes sparkled, not showing the slightest trace of fear that should be felt in this strange place, then, on her face, a smile so beautiful.

"That's so lovely!" praise the human girl again. Rising from where he was sitting, he immediately approached the blue-eyed youkai.

The youkai just stared at the girl in front of him with an expressionless flat face. Staring at the girl's face intently, she had to admit, the human girl was extremely beautiful, even more so with her smile that was so charming. However, she was not the one who considered beauty to be important.

"Rin was really fascinated to see it," the girl continued with a smile. "Rin was also eager to be able to play such a beautiful sword."

The blue-eyed Youkai still said nothing. The girl in front of him was the girl known as Hime from the West. Of all the news that was blown by the wind during this time, she was always described as a god girl. However, looking at her now, she knew, the girl was a childish girl, even already this big, she still used her own name to point at her.

Seeing the still-silent blue-eyed youkai say nothing, Rin then stopped praising. However, a smile still flashed across his face. "Em, I'm sorry if Rin interfered, but where is this, huh?"

A grinning smile flashed across the blue-eyed youkai face. The wide-eyed person before him made his heart feel satisfied, and he knew the answer he would give would definitely make those brown eyes filled with fear. "Because you were kidnapped."

Rin's wide-eyed widened, his mouth opened slightly in surprise.

The grinning smile on the blue-eyed youkai face grew wider, the satisfaction in his heart growing stronger. The existence of the human girl in the south was actually not one of his plans, but he was obviously eager to see what the west could do to him by kidnapping the only human so beloved of the western land youkai. What can the west do to avenge him who has frightened the human girl and taught her the difference between a human and a youkai.

Turning his head down, Rin rummaged through the contents of his head. He was kidnapped and is now in the south. How could it possibly be? He can't remember anything. What really happened? Raising his head staring at the youkai in front of him, Rin again asked the question."I'm sorry if Rin asks again, Who are you?"

Rin's question left the youkai stunned for a moment, as his reaction was definitely not something he suspected. There was no fear on that face, there was only confusion.

"Akihiko from the south." reply youkai it slowly.

Rin's brown eyes were wide again. Akihiko from the south, he clearly knew that name. The ruler of the southern lands was as famous as Sesshoumaru of the west. The wolf youkai who is said to have powers that match Sesshoumaru's.

Rin's reaction again made Akihiko smile. This time, the girl would definitely be completely frightened. However, for the second time, the youkai ruler of the southern land was again made stunned by the human girl. The fear, the cry of horror or tears that he thought would fill the human girl's face remained invisible, even though there was a beautiful and warm smile.

"That's it, huh? Nice to meet you Akihiko-sama." Rin's smile while bowing his body saluted.

The same smile, the real smile is not artificial. Akihiko did not know what to do against the human girl in front of him. Is this girl in front of him stupid or crazy? Didn't he feel the slightest fear?

Staring at Akihiko who was also looking at him, the smile on Rin's face widened. He was in the south, kidnapped and in the south youkai Palace? He should have been afraid, but with his life experience that was always kidnapped by Sesshoumaru opponents as a child, not knowing why, this did not cause the slightest worry or fear in his heart. And also, looking at Akihiko, he knew, the youkai was like Sesshoumaru, a youkai with high pride and honor, he would not hurt her weak and helpless like his general youkai.

"Are you still going to practice Akihiko-sama's sword?" rinn asked again with hope. "If it's still, can Rin watch it? Your swordplay is so beautiful, it's like dancing, Rin wants to see it again."

Akihiko looked at Rin, unable to deny the disbelief she felt in her heart. He was an enemy, and why could he still say such a thing? Is he doing a show?

Not caring for Rin, Akihiko then stepped foot and walked away. The human girl in front of him she admitted, was quite unique. But also stupid at the same time. His sharp ears could hear clearly the sound of small footsteps as well as the light laughter that followed. Why didn't the girl run away? Why is the girl following him? Then why is he still laughing?

Rin chuckled as she followed Akihiko, she was unable to hide her laughter. During this time, he always heard from anyone who said Akihiko was similar to Sesshoumaru, and he admitted, there was indeed a resemblance between them, namely coldness, carelessness and self-esteem.

Stepping towards the palace, Akihiko's blue eyes caught the figure of Tsubasa standing gracefully with a smile welcoming her. Bending his body slightly saluted, his smile widening. "Akihiko-sama."

Akihiko did not return Tsubasa's greeting, he simply stared at his beloved concubine, until Rin who arrived behind him broke the silence. "Tsubasa-sama"

Tsubasa raised her body when she heard Rin's voice, and she was stunned when she saw the human girl running past Akihiko with a dense smile on her face towards him. "Tsubasa-sama."

Akihiko stared intently at Rin as he passed by, his sense of smell catching the smell of spring and girl. But what still made her confused was the wide smile on that face.

Arriving in front of Tsubasa, seeing the concubine's face, Rin immediately realized something. "Rin knows now" he laughed. "Tsubasa-sama was the one who kidnapped Rin? It was Tsubasa-sam who brought Rin to the southern land palace right?"

Tsubasa was not menajwab, however, she stared at the confused human girl. Smiling and laughing freely, he did not expect the girl would show him that.

"This is Rin's first time here. Please help, huh? " the smile of Rin again. "Rin's never been here before, it's gonna be fun."

Questions burst with excitement and laughter, seeing Rin, Tsubasa could not stop herself from asking. "Why aren't you afraid?"

Tsubasa's question made Rin who continued to speak stunned. The smile on his face disappeared, but for a second, then a smile again filled his face. The big smile that managed to make Tsubasa and Akihiko stunned because of the beauty.

Why aren't you scared? A simple question with a simple answer? Why aren't you scared? Rin knows, as she used to be when she was little, as she usually is and will never change, she has nothing to fear, because her patron will come—Sesshoumaru will come for her.

Inside the dark room, a short black-haired youkai with green-colored eyes stood in silence, but a fluffy grin filled his face. Clasping tightly onto a piece of paper in his hand, he raised his head to the night sky, he then laughed loudly. "Yuu, Sen!"

"Yes, Takeru-sama," replied the figure of two youkai who had kneeled behind Takeru simultaneously.

"Prepare everything. And wait for my cue to start." Takeru ordered as he turned his face to look at his trusted subordinates.

"Hi, Takeru-sama ." Reply Yuu and Sen again.

Takeru just laughed happily. It is time, the war between the west and the south will soon take place, then once it is all over, he will show the world who will rule next.
