Sitting staring at the kneeling warrior in front of him, the noble Mio was unable to hide the feeling of shock in her heart. "Two youkai villages destroyed again?"

Takeru's question made Shui's laughter even louder. Smiling widely, he raised his head and looked back at the northern land lord that was in front of him. "Yes." Yeah."

"Hmn," Takeru muttered as he nodded his head like he was thinking hard. "Meaning that it will be destroyed next is the youkai village of the fire lizard clan from the northern land."

"Are you sad?" shui asked with an unchanging smile on her face.

"Oh, yes," cried Takeru then while drinking the tea in front of him. "You've heard that the wolf is in the west now."

Shui turned his gaze back to Takeru. A small smile she nodded her head slowly.

"The wolf seemed to be really interested in the western land kisaki," Takeru laughed loudly, his two green eyes then looked at the curious Shui. "What are you gonna do?"

Shui lifted the teacup in front of him and drank it slowly. A moment later, as he placed the teacup onto the table, he smiled with a grin, while his white eyes shone with excitement. "I'll see what offers he'll make."

"How's Rin-chan doing, Kagome?" sango asked slowly looking at Kagome who was sitting in front of him with Inuyasha in their room.

"Stay the same," Kagome replied softly as she sighed. "So does the child in her womb—bet me, Inukimi-san, and Jinenji are really confused not knowing what we should do."

Entering this autumn, a change occurred to Rin. Although no one said it, everyone could see, the health of the human woman was a bad—. His pale face grew paler, his voice grew slower, even his legs no longer had the strength to stand for more than ten minutes.

Inuyasha's words instantly made everyone in the room turn their heads to look at him. No one wants to harm a child in the womb? Is this inuanyou joking?

"Take your word, wolf." left quietly. His two golden eyes turned blood red, and he growled with anger, as did Kira.

Sesshoumaru once again paid no heed to Akihiko's words, he just returned to staring at the sleeping Rin. Moving his right hand that stroked black hair onto the cheeks of the woman that were precious to him, his golden eyes softened. "Rin will not die, neither will our son—they will live. This Sesshoumaru trusts Rin."

Akihiko laughed at Sesshoumaru's unexpected words. To believe? Just because he believes Rin's words, he dares to play with the human woman's life?

Staring at Sesshoumaru again, Akihiko smiled a smirk full of disdain. "If your beliefs are proven wrong, what will you do?"

Akihiko's question made Sesshoumaru stunned. As soon as the ruler of the western lands came to his senses, he trusted Rin's words saying he and their son would live, but, he never thought about what he would do if it turned out to be proven; wrong.

For Rin to continue to convince herself that everything would be fine, Sesshoumaru never told the woman what the consequences would be if it turned out that she could not keep her words.

Every belief has its consequences, even more so the belief promised to him Sesshoumaru, the ruler of the western lands.
