Till The End Of Time [Inuyasha Fanfiction ]
Chapter 138's

The neutral ground chose Koharu of the squirrel clan as their leader, and he had officially written a letter representing the neutral land to the northern land rejecting the offer of joining," report Kira while kneeling before Sesshoumaru in the workspace of the ruler of the west. "Northern lands did not respond to neutral lands, but Takeru himself accepted the decision without making a fuss."

Sitting in his study chair, Sesshoumaru silently silently listened to Kira's report calmly as usual, as well as Inukimi and Kenji who were at the side.

"And as for the eastern lands, Asano as the ruler gained much resistance from the clans under his rule. The war of five regions made his position as ruler threatened."

"Ahh," muttered Kenji softly as he gave a small smile full of excitement. "I hope this time the old fox dies."

"Then, for the southern land," Kira continued with her flat voice without changing one bit. "There is not the slightest movement from the southern lands. The circumstances also did not change, the war of the five regions did not have the slightest effect on Akihiko as the ruler."

Neither Kenji, Inukimi nor Sesshoumaru felt the slightest strangeness about the reports of the southern lands. Akihiko as the ruler of the southern land is not a youkai that can be underestimated. That wolf youkai was a powerful ruler who could control the entire clan under him well.

"At the end of the day, the one that can rival the western land is still the southern land." muttered Kenji softly while scratching his head.

Sesshoumaru did not give the slightest reaction to Kenji's remarks, but not to Inukimi. The former ruler of the western land smiled grinningly. "What could rival the western lands? The South will never be able to have an heir like my golden granddaughter."

Inukimi's remarks made Kenji stare in disbelief at the former ruler of the western land. Looking at the two golden eyes that were shining full of pride, the shogun saru could only shake the head—love of an extraordinary grandmother.

"The southern land will never attack the western land for no reason again," the silent voice of Sesshoumaru from earlier suddenly sounded. "But—stay watch over them."

Sesshoumaru knew, Akihiko would not be able to attack the western lands again, because of his promise to Rin. The wolf youkai to death will always keep the promise he has made, that is; will not attack the land of the west.

There was a sense of dislike Sesshoumaru felt in his heart. He knew, despite this, that even though Rin had become a western earth boy, becoming his wife, becoming a mother, Akihiko's eyes while staring at Rin never changed.

Sesshoumaru did not need to be wary of the southern lands, but he would forever be on the lookout for Akihiko. If there were just a slight gap between his relationship with Rin, then the wolf youkai would definitely try to get between them to snatch Rin from him.

Akihiko is the youkai that Sesshoumaru dislikes the most now, but he also understands the ruler of the southern land that the wolf youkai still loves Rin very much.

Like her who only pursued strength in the past. A youkai living in a dark world full of blood and screams— Rin's brilliant charm will never be forgotten; Akihiko will forever never be able to forget Rin.

Sesshoumaru felt funny, because in the end, maybe he was the one who understood Akihiko's feelings the most when he loved a human woman named; Rin.

"For neutral land, eastern land, and especially northern land" Sesshoumaru said. His voice remained calm and flat, but his eyes shone sharply full of indisputable commands. "If they make even the slightest movement in order to destroy the peace that exists; destroy them without remainder."

Peacefulness.

Sesshoumaru didn't really care about that, but, Rin desperately wanted that for Shura's life. Like his kisakinya who tried hard to create such a peaceful world, he will also try hard to maintain it for as long as he can.

Kenji could only smile hearing what Sesshoumaru said. The word 'peace' spoken by the ruler of the western land really made him want to laugh. Who would have thought that the day he would hear and see that heartless inuyoukai wanted to keep the peace—Rin-rin had really changed Sesshoumaru.

Inukimi said nothing. Sesshoumaru's decision now, he was quite satisfied. Rin's answer to neutral ground has locked their movement for anyone to use, nor will the southern land attack because of Akihiko's promise, then the land of the east and the land of the north also can not do anything—the situation is now really good for him who will spend the rest of his life with his children, son-in-law and golden grandchildren.

"Hamba understands, Sesshoumaru-sama." Reply Kira who is still kneeling respectfully.

"Good, back off." Sesshoumaru's orders are slow.

Kira said nothing more. Rise up, he then retreated out of the workroom of the western land lord narrating Sesshoumaru, Inukimi and Kenji.

"The situation is normal and calm again, I hope you can also return to your work, Sesshoumaru," Inukimi said later. His golden eyes looked straight at Sesshoumaru. "Give little Rin's health to me."

"And leave the fushi no trace business to me" Kenji added with a laugh. "I'll try."

For Sesshoumaru now, he only worried about two things, namely; health and the time of Rin's life. But, he is not pessimistic, his kisakin will be healthy and he will definitely find fushi no kusur to prolong his life.

Forever together.

Sesshoumaru smiled. For a dream that is woven and will continue, he will grant the mustahi hope. Himself, Rin and Shura— forever along with as a family.

"Shura is so handsome." Praise Aya slowly. Both of his eyes stared fixedly at Shura who stared back at him dislike in Rin's sling.

"Thank you for the compliment, Aya-chan." Rin's smile was soft. Sitting on the futon because his body was still quite weak, he stared gently at his beloved son.

"Yes, he's the most handsome baby I've ever seen—he looks like Uncle Sesshoumaru." Added Maya. Like her twin sister, her eyes also stared fixedly at the western land heir.

"Did Shiro when the baby lost his good looks to Shura?" sela Shiro looked at Aya and Maya with her golden eyes full of innocence.

"Ah," Aya's laughter could not help but stir Shiro's question. "You're just as handsome as Shura, Shiro."

"Silver white hair, golden eyes, white skinyou really have been handsome since birth. Nothing will beat your good looks." Connect Maya and make a wide smile meet Shiro's face.

"No!" cut Mamoru upset. He stared at his dislike of his two siblings. "That most handsome baby is me!! Brother!! Who are you, brother??"

"You're not the most handsome, Mamoru," Aya replied with a grin. "Thank you for your fate."

"Yes," Maya never wanted to lose in teasing her sister. "You're pretty, but not the most handsome."

"Sister!!!" mamoru shouted with anger. Tears piled up in his black eyes saw his two brothers prefer others rather than him who is their younger brother.

"Even so," Sango who could not stand it again immediately injured the children. His eyes stared intently at his two twin daughters. "Yes, Maya, don't keep teasing your sister."

The crying Mamoru immediately ran over and hugged Miroku who was beside Sango. "Dad, Sister Aya and Sister Maya are evil!!"

"Ah, calm Mamoru," entertained Miroku as he stroked Mamoru's head slowly. "You're pretty good-looking, and ability isn't the most useful thing in relating to a woman's feelings."

"Is dad really?" ask Mamoru. Her crying came to a halt and she stared at Miroku full of anticipation for the justification.

Miroku nodded his head. "The most useful thing is a soft and understanding heart. The intoxicating words. I can teach you nan—aduh!! Sick Sango!!"

Miroku's slow voice turned into a cry of pain as Sango pinched his cheek strongly.

"Don't teach Mamoru that no-no." said Sango annoyed without looking at Miroku in the slightest.

Kohaku who was at the side could only shake his head looking at his sister's family who had never changed in the slightest.

Rin, Inuyasha, Kagome, Kaeda and Shippo who saw the interaction of the Miroku family also said nothing and laughed. Until then it seems like Miroku will never change.

Gathering up to see Shura who had obtained her human figure, the bedroom of the ruler of the western land became cheerful full of laughter. A sense of warmth enveloped all over them even though outside the winter was still continuing.

With Sesshoumaru not in the room as well as Kiri standing outside the room door as a guard, Rin knew, the ruler of the western land wanted to give time for him and Shura to interact with the children as well as others.

The children are still afraid of Sesshoumaru, and it is still not understood Rin. What's scary about that inuyoukai?—dia handsome and very good, right?

"But" said Shippo then awakened Rin from his daydream. The little fox youkai's eyes looked at Shura who was still putting a dislike face on everything in the room. "Shura is really similar to Sesshoumaru."

"Yes," Kaeda said slowly. "He was a copy of his father. I can clearly imagine what his face will be like."

"Cih," Inuyasha sneered and returned Shura's sharp gaze. "The same thing. This little guy will be very stubborn and difficult to keep when he can walk later. You need to get ready, Rin."

"I don't agree with that Inuyasha," tepis Kagome quick. A smile filled his face as he looked at Shura. "Shura will be a submissive child and will not trouble Rin-chan and Brother. Don't you see how her eyes look at Rin-chan?"

Inuyasha fell silent at Kagome's question. Staring at Shura back, he looked at Rin's face. Remembering, the small inuyoukai eyes when looking at his mother and father were indeed very different.

Rin just smiled. Slowly, he lowered his affectionate eyes on the son in his carry. "Shura's gonna be a submissive kid, isn't she?"

Shura did not understand Rin's question. But, hearing the soft voice and seeing the smile she loved so much, she laughed and raised both hands to touch her face.

"Eh!! He's laughing!!"

"Shura is so funny!!"

"Mamoru is funnier!!"

Shura's laughter instantly made everything in Rin's room noisier. All who saw him could not believe that the little inuyoukai who always put on a face did not like them could laugh this happily all of a sudden.

The noise made the laughter on Shura's face disappear. Looking at Inuyasha, Kagome and the others, he grinned furiously with golden eyes that turned blood red.

All who were there instantly fell silent, staring at Shura's face now, they could only return feeling how amazingly similar she was to Sesshoumaru.

"Shura, don't be like this" Rin said slowly to calm Shura down. Bowing her head down, she kissed her son's forehead gently. "Rin preferred Shura who laughed or smiled."

The kiss on the forehead made the anger on Shura's face disappear, as well as her red eyes that returned to gold. Staring at Rin for a moment, he then closed his eyes and buried his face in the chest of the mother.

Rin could only go back laughing and shaking his head with Shura's attitude.

"Shura inherits your laugh, Rin-chan." Kagome smiles then and looks at Rin. His eyes sparkled happily. "He's gonna grow up to be very, very good-looking."

"Curtainly, thank goodness she inherited your smile and laughter" interrupted Inuyasha, folding her hands across her chest and throwing her face away. "At least there's something good this little guy got from you. This boy better look like his mother."

"Hmnn, I agree with that," Shippo said as he nodded his head. "A boy better look like his mother. I also hope that Shiro inherits more good things from Kagome than from you, Inuyasha."

"What do you mean, Shippo?!" gazing at Shippo's dislike, Inuyasha immediately raised his hand to hit the fox's youkai head.

Shippo immediately dodged and hid behind Kagome. "See that!! I hope Shiro doesn't inherit this brute of yours someday!!"

"Shiro is a good boy!! Shiro is not rude!!" shiro shouted interrupting Shippo's words. His eyes then focused on Kagome, "Mother, Shiro will be a good boy!!"

Kagome shook her head looking at Inuyasha and Shippo's attitude, she also did not understand Shiro who was participating in the commotion.

Kaeda who was unconcerned about the commotion looked at Rin who was right in front of him. He smiled gently. "You need to take good care of yourself, Rin. You're a mother now."

Rin's condition is still not restored as before. The wounds he got from the process of giving birth were heavy even though it had healed, still giving quite a worrying effect. He became weak and was required to rest long.

Rin smiled wider and nodded his head. "Yes, Rin understands Grandma Kaeda."

"Good." Kaeda's laughter looked at Rin who was already considered like her grandson. Seeing the happiness on that beautiful face, she sincerely joined in.

Rin smiled.

Such a happy and beautiful smile, because to him now; he had earned everything. Something she always hoped for and yearned for, pseudo-dreams that became real—with those who meant so much to her.

Then, a second later the smile on his face disappeared.

Both of his eyes were wide. His pale face was getting pale. Moving his hand, immediately, he handed the Shura in his carriage to Kaeda.

What Rin did instantly made everything there was confusion. The voice of Shura who now issued a protest for not being in the arms of the mother was heard filling the room. However, the others did not care, the eyes of all there were directed at the western earth kisaki who lowered their heads down.

"Rin-chan, what's wrong?" ask Kagome confused. He immediately raised his right hand wanting to touch Rin, only that the human female voice suddenly stopped him.

"Get out."

"Eh??"

Everyone is stunned. Their eyes that were directed at Rin then turned into fear as the human woman raised her face upwards.

The pale beautiful face was now getting pale to the point that there was no blood flowing. His two clear brown eyes were filled with fear, while his body was trembling violently.

"Get out!!!"

Rin shouted loudly, and along with his shout, the seki meido in his chest shone brightly. The tightly shut room shoji door suddenly opened, a strong wind blew and blew Inuyasha and the others out.

What happened so fast. Except for Inuyasha who had the best reflexes, he immediately jumped up and ran forward through the strong wind that blew towards Rin, as well as Kiri who was outside the door from the beginning.

The left who did not know what was happening could not hide his surprise. What the hell's going on? Why did Rin suddenly use the power of meido seki? Then, his pale face—inuyoukai a western land kisaki personal guard only knew he had to stop his master. The consequences for that weak body when using that dangerous power—he did not dare to imagine it.

However, upon arriving at the door of the room that opened, both Inuyasha and Kiri were restrained with a visible fortune that did not know since when there was.

"Rin!!"

"Rin-sama!!"

The loud screams of Inuyasha and Kiri were full of confusion mixed with fear. Their golden eyes stared fixedly at Rin, while the clenched hand smacked the fortune, trying to destroy it.

"Rin!!"

"Rin-chan!!"

The voice of Kagome and the others who were connected also sounded strong calling the name of the frightened Rin. However, the woman did not care about it, until the sound of the baby's dike caught her ear—Shura.

Rin's eyes fell on the small figure of Shura who was in Kaeda's arms. The little Inuyoukai was crying loudly with both wide-open golden eyes directed at him. Both of his small hands raised and moved continuously—ingin back to his mother's embrace.

Shuras.

Shura who was always calm, her son who never cried even on the day she was born was crying now—crying for not wanting to part with her.

Slowly, a small smile filled Rin's pale pretty face. The fear on his face disappeared replaced by tenderness and love for his son. "Don't cry, my son from the west. Mother is okay..."

Rin said slowly and softly. Along with the shoji door slowly closing by itself, his brown eyes never escaped the figure of his son who was so precious to him.

"Please, Mother..."

The shoji door was tightly closed, as well as the window. The treasure surrounded the entire room as if it wanted to close and separate the human woman inside with the outside world.

"Rin!!"

"Rin-sama!!!"

"Rin-chan!!!"

....xoxOx....

Sesshoumaru, what's wrong?" ask Inukimi quietly. His golden eyes stared at the dumbass Sesshoumaru who suddenly stood up from his seat, as well as Kenji.

Sesshoumaru did not answer Inukimi's question, nor did he care about her mother's confused gaze and Kenji's direction.

Sesshoumaru felt his heart beating fast. An unpleasant foreign feeling filled his heart, as well as an overwhelming fear—.

Sesshoumaru.

Rin's beautiful smile and laughter like spring flashed through Sesshoumaru's mind. The smile he loved so much—the smile that was engraved eternally in his heart.

Rin loves you, Sesshoumaru-sama.

In that instant, Sesshoumaru ran over. Run as fast as he could towards the room where Rin and Shura were. Heart beating is not careless, the feeling of unbearable fear—Sesshomaru at that time never thought, that was the beginning of the end he feared the most.
