Chapter 29's

"It's pretty.." Rin said in amazement. Both of his big brown eyes were twinkling staring at the palace garden where he was. The blooming cherry trees neatly planted filled the garden, the petals of cherry blossoms flew carried by the blowing wind, and the smell of fragrant cherry blossoms clearly smelled the very spring— he loved.

"You want to play, little Rin?" inukimi asked who was beside Rin slowly.

Rin immediately nodded his head quickly while smiling broadly, "May?" tanyakanya.

Inukami smiled and nodded his head slowly. Rin immediately laughed, not wasting any time, he ran forward. Both hands raised up, jumping, he tried to catch the petals of cherry blossoms carried by the wind. Every now and then, he would turn his head back, looking at Inukimi who was sitting on a leisurely chair and smiling widely.

Inukimi's golden eyes continued to gaze at Rin's figure adoringly, following her every step of her small foot, then, as the little girl smiled at him, she would immediately return the smile. Kiri and Kira who were beside Inukimi saw it all, it had been two days since the strange human girl in front of them was now in this western land palace, and undoubtedly, it was, that easily and not knowing how, he had managed to conquer the heart of the Inuyoukai ruler of the western land.

"Inukimi-sama," said Kira suddenly, "Hamba has already done what you are trying to do. But, do you still want to carry out your plan to bring Rin-sama here?" tanyakanya.

The smile on Inukimi's face disappeared hearing Kira's question. Slowly, he turned his head to look at his bodyguard with a face expression that did not care, "Leave it," he replied. "I don't care about that plan anymore."

"Hamba understands."

Inukimi then looked at Left. "You did what I told you to do, Left?"

"Already, Inukimi-sama." replied Left quickly. "Onigumo has finished making new kimonos for Rin-sama. Tomorrow morning, the kimonos will be in front of you."

"Good." A smile flashed across Inukimi's face. He has ordered Onigumo, a youkai spider knitting yarn to make new and beautiful kimonos for Rin. To her now, that little human girl only deserved to wear the best quality silk kimonos in the world. He was already impatiently waiting for tomorrow when the kimonos arrived, with his own hands, he would definitely put all those kimonos on Rin. Her little princess will definitely be the prettiest and sweetest princess in the world.

"La-anu.. I-mother.." call Rin suddenly. He was now standing next to Inukimi who was sitting on a leisurely chair.

"Yes, what's up, little Rin." Inukimi looked back at Rin with a smile and a gentle look.

Slowly and timidly, Rin raised her hand and draped a chain of cherry blossoms she made to Inukimi. "For you, Mother" he said with a big smile.

Inukimi was stunned by what Rin was doing, and a moment later, she immediately raised her hand tightly around the little girl, "You're so sweet, little Rin!" her laugh. She was overjoyed, all this time, no one had ever done things like this to her, presenting her with flowers and calling her 'Mother' with a sincere smile full of excitement. The happiness of being a mother, being loved by her child, this was the first time she felt it all.

Rin laughed and reciprocated Inukimi's embrace equally tightly, burying her face in the inuyoukai's chest. Just like Inukimi, she is happy, because she has now returned to having a mother. She can be spoiled, give flowers and call 'Mother' to someone again. He remembered how warm, pleasant and sound his sleep was last night. She slept in Inukimi's room, on her bed, next to her. Both Inukimi's arms hugged her, as well as the mokomoko that seemed to be her blanket. Then, when he woke up, Inukimi was still beside him, kissing his forehead softly and whispering softly, 'Good morning, my little daughter..'. In dreams, he never imagined it.

Inukimi let go of her embrace, but the smile on her face still remained. His hand gently sidestepped Rin's bangs that were about to close his eyes. "Is there anything you want right now Rin-small? The candy? The doll? A toy?" she asked "Tell Mother, whatever you want, she will give it to you."

Rin shook his head, "Rin needs nothing" he replied and returned a timid smile. "Rin now just wants Mommy to be next to Rin.."

Both of Inukimi's golden eyes immediately widened to hear Rin's unexpected answer, a moment later, she immediately laughed. "Oh, little Rin," he said and kissed Rin on the forehead gently. "Mother is here. Mother won't let anyone separate us."

A mother who has never felt what it really feels like to be a mother, as well as a child who has lost and coveted a mother, even though they are youkai and human, they seem to be able to complement each other perfectly. Left and Kira who saw the interaction between Inukimi and Rin knew, what the ruler of the western land said was true, the Inuyoukai was beyond doubt, would not let anyone separate the human girl from her side, including her biological son, Sesshoumaru.

Rin tiba-tiba menoleh kepala menatap Kiri dan Kira yang berada di samping mereka dengan wajah tanpa ekspresi. Mengangkat tangannya dia kemudian menyerahkan dua untai gelang bunga sakura pada mereka. "Kiri-sama, Kira-sama, untuk anda berdua. Rin membuatkan ini untuk anda berdua." senyumnya.

The two inuyoukai brothers were stunned by Rin's words. Their golden eyes were wide in disbelief. They did not understand why this little girl could behave like this to them, giving her homemade flower bracelet to the youkai she had just met?

Looking at the two inuyoukai brothers who did not take the flower bracelet that he had responded to, the smile on Rin's face dimmed. Inukimi who could feel, smell and see the changing atmosphere of the human girl, immediately raised her head staring at the two guards sharply.

Noticing Inukimi's sharp gaze, Kiri and Kira immediately raised their hands to receive the flower bracelet in Rin's hands in a respectful manner, "Thank you, Rin-sama" they said together.

A wide smile returned to Rin's face and made the two inuyoukai brothers stunned again. This human girl was truly beyond prediction, how could she smile so happily just because they received her flower bracelet? What a strange girl, but most importantly, not knowing why, they liked that big smile. They could not explain the smile with the word, it was so beautiful and could calm the heart. They both thought, maybe it was this smile that captured Inukimi's heart, as well as the famous Sesshoumaru who hated humans so much.

"No, you fool!" reply Kagome, "We must keep following Brother."

"You sitting on my back is obviously okay, but I'm already so tired of knowing!"

Kagome was speechless upon hearing Inuyasha's protest. His black eyes looked at Miroku and Sango above Kirara as well as Kaeda and Kohaku above Ah-Un, fatigue clearly visible on their faces. He can understand that, even to be honest, he is also very tired. They had been traveling all night without rest.

Looking back at the original figure of the Sesshoumaru youkai, Kagome sighed, maybe they should take a break for a while. However, his two eyeballs suddenly stared at something strange, Sesshoumaru who from yesterday kept running so fast suddenly stopped running.

"What's wrong with Brother, Inuyasha?" ask Kagome for confusion. Sesshoumaru who stopped running raised his head to look at the sky. His nose sniffed through the air and a moment later, his eyes looked back at the trees in front of him.

"Where do I know!" inuyasha shouted again full of anger. He didn't understand his wife, why he always asked her a question she couldn't answer, "Tell me, Kagome! although me and the son of a bitch have the same father, we are buk—" he explained, but the explanation stopped when his nose managed to catch a smell in the air. The run stopped, and his face paled, "T-no way...."

"What's up, Inuyasha?" asked Miroku who was on Kirara's back ats bewildered. The cat Youkai stops, as well as the Ah-Un that Kaeda and Kohaku drive. However, before the hanyou managed to answer the question, Sesshoumaru who was in front of them suddenly roared very loudly, the front legs which had large and sharp nails clawing at the ground below, his red eyes grew increasingly dark, and from his open mouth, saliva flowed down, dripping down on the grass and scorching it—his poisonous saliva.

No one moves, they all stare. Fear filled their hearts, the inuyoukai had been visibly angry ever since he found out Rin had disappeared, but it seemed that his anger was mounting. What should they do now, they really don't know anymore.

Not caring for anything, Sesshoumaru again ran over, breaking through the trees in front of him. As Sesshoumaru's figure disappeared from view, Inuyasha immediately lowered Kagome and ran forward, leaping upwards, he pulled something tied up on the branch of one of the trees.

"Inuyasha, what's wrong?" kagome asked puzzledly, she ran over to that hanyou, as well as the others.

Inuyasha did not reply, he showed them all what he had just pulled from the tree branch. Their eyes were all instantly wide in shock, the one in Inuyasha's hands was a piece of green silk cloth of the highest quality, and they were all well acquainted with the cloth, and they were all well acquainted with it, the cloth was the same cloth as the kimono motif Rin wore when kidnapped. However, what actually surprised them so much was that the green color on the silk cloth was no longer completely green, there was a red color filling it—blood.

"Tell me that what I saw was wrong, and the color of the kimono cloth was completely green." Said Miroku unwilling to believe what he saw.

"Not wrong, this cloth is the kimono cloth of the little girl. The smell is still in order, and the blood is there.." explained Inuyasha softly with a confused facial expression mixed with dislike, "It's not wrong, it's his blood."

"Rin's blood?" asked Kohaku with a pale face.

"Yes," Inuyasha replied quickly, "Then, another one. I did manage to get the smell of that little girl, I guess so did Sesshoumaru, just that I didn't know which direction was right."

"You mean, Inuyasha?" ask Sango confused.

Inuyasha raised his head and sniffed the air. "This place, the wind blowing from all over the direction met, and I could clearly smell the smell of the little girl's blood in it."

"Anyone who kidnaps Rin, might tie a kimono with the smell of Rin's blood to confuse you and Sesshoumaru who have a very keen sense of smell. What a great trick.." Praise Miroku, even though his face looks unhappy, because this means they still can not find a clue to Rin's whereabouts.

All those who were there were silent again, their heads thinking about the possibility of where Rin is now, until finally Kaeda who was silent from earlier broke the silence. "All of you, are you going to let Seshoumaru-san just like that now?"

Kaeda's question makes Inuyasha, Kagome, Miroku and Sango aware. They all knew, with such a state of inuyoukai now, they really should not let it go, but following him still felt very wrong. What if he suddenly went berserk and attacked them?

"I think we better follow Sesshoumaru-sama," Kohaku said suddenly, "Don't you guys feel it? Although the smell of Rin-chan's blood was in all directions, the direction she was in remained unchanged. He continued to run west. I think he really knows who kidnapped her and where Rin-chan is."

"You're absolutely right, Kohaku," agreed Kagome. What Kohaku said made a lot of sense, as did Miroku, Sango and Kaeda.

Inuyasha sneered and threw away his face, however, deep down he agreed with what the young taijiya said. His hand then touched the Tessaiga that was on his waist. Taking a breath he could only hope, hopefully he would not have to face the circumstances until he had to raise his sword to his half-brother again.
