Chapter 163

"Shura, forget it.."

Shura stared fearfully at Sesshoumaru who was in front of him. He could also hear the screaming sounds of Kagome, Jaken and the others.

"Sister!!"

"Sesshoumaru-sama!!"

"Shoumaru-san!!!"

Red blood soaked Shura's gaze. His golden eyes could clearly see the hand that pierced through his biological father's back as well as the heart that was beating in the grasp.

"Shoppers!!" the sound of Inuyasha's cry sounded loud, not knowing since when, that innuanyou had been behind Shura. Swinging the tessaiga, he attacked Shui.

Shui jumped backwards. The hand that pierced through Sesshoumaru's body and grasped his heart retreated backwards into the open dimensional door, disappearing from sight.

Sesshoumaru's body collapsed downward, and Shura immediately caught him. Sitting on the ground, she stared in disbelief and was also afraid of her unconscious father's condition. The fear of the small inuyoukai grew bigger as he felt the body cool down quickly.

"Shoumaru!!" Inuyasha knelt down. His face was deathly pale as he saw both of Sesshoumaru's eyes closed, and the most frightening thing was, he could not feel the slightest aura of life from his half-brother anymore.

"Oi!! Sesshoumaru!! Wake you!!! Wake up!!!" full of panic, no matter which Shura was still in shock, Inuyasha pulled the collar of Sesshoumaru's kimono and shook it strongly. "Sister!!! Open your eyes!!!"

Kagome, Jaken, Miroku and the others did not move the slightest bit from the position they were in. Their heads were still trying to digest what was happening in front of him. Is what they see now real?

"Hahaha!!!!" The loud laughter of Shui sounded resuscitated all that was there. Laughing happily like a madman, he raised his hand that held Sesshoumaru's heart upwards. "One or two stabs in the heart won't kill Sesshoumaru. But, what if his heart is pulled out??"

Shui's words made everyone turn to look at the dragon youkai. Standing in the distance, his strange figure with the human body of a woman and connected youkai stared at Shura and Inuyasha full of excitement. Then, firmly in the eyes of all there was, he squeezed Sesshoumaru's heart to shreds. "What if his heart breaks like this?"

"Kill you!! I'll kill you!!!" dark in the eyes and filled with overwhelming anger, without caring for anything else, Inuyasha darted forward towards Shui. tessaiga lifted up. "Babeehaha!!!"

Shui laughed at Inuyasha's anger. Undaunted by the bakuryuha attack directed at him, he used his youkin aura to change the direction of the attack.

Inuyasha did not stop despite seeing his attack being diverted by Shui, still full of anger he still ran forward. However, from beside him, a spear shot out at his head.

"Brava!!!"

"Dad!!!"

"Buyasha!! Beside you!!"

The screams of Kagome, Shiro, Sakura and the others were heard. Aware of the sudden attack, Inuyasha immediately turned his body to dodge.

The sudden fatal attack was avoided by Inuyasha, but the spear still managed to injure him. Landing on the ground, a long streak wound on his right hand was inevitable. Red blood flowed down to the ground.

"Shoppers!!" full of anger, Inuyasha looked at the owner of the spear which was none other than Asano. Not that from the moment they fought, the fox youkai did not attack at all, why was he now attacking and interfering?

Standing up, Inuyasha wanted to attack Asano. But his gaze suddenly became unfocused and both of his legs lost steam. Placing the tessaiga on the ground as a refutation of her almost falling onto the ground, she stared intently at Asano who was smiling broadly at her.

Poison.

Inuyasha had no idea what this poison was. But, he was certain that Asano's spearhead contained poison which caused his condition to become like this.

"Shoppers!!" inuyasha again. How could they just continue to carry out such cunning and cowardly attacks?

"Although only a hanyou, you are indeed strong Inuyasha," Asano said with a smiley face. "My poison is strong enough to kill youkai in general, but you're still alive, still able to speak. The blood of inuyoukai is indeed extraordinary"

Inuyasha did not reply to Asano's words, his two golden eyes staring intently at the ruler of the eastern land full of hatred.

Still with a smile on his face, Asano then took out a glass bottle where they sealed Inukimi, Kiri, Kira, Kenji and other western land youkai. "Inukimi-san, Kenji-san and all of you, are you ready to welcome the new ruler of the western lands?"

Inukimi, Kenji, Kiri, Kira did not show the slightest change in expression as to what was happening. Their faces were cold without emotion. But, not for the other western land youkai. They stared in disbelief and then got angry.

Shui smiled broadly at that. The death of Sesshoumaru was something they would never have imagined. With the death of Sesshoumaru, that is to say, the ever-glorious western lands have fallen into his hands.

However, all of a sudden, Shura who had been silent from earlier did not move darted forward. With a sword drawn in her hand, she attacked Shui. His golden eyes had turned blood-red, his lips raised revealing a grin full of anger - he had almost returned to the original figure of his youkai.

Shui was quite surprised by Shura's attack. But, a moment later he immediately dodged the small inuyoukai attack while laughing.

Shura did not care, attacking continuously nonstop, he launched an attack for his sake. Merely, how he attacked, he still did not manage to touch Shui in the slightest. The difference in their strength was huge.

"Shura, my son." call Shui using Rin's figure. Smiling, he looked gently at Shura. "Why did you attack me?"

Shura looked at her mother figure for a moment and attacked again. The one in front of him was not his mother, he would not hesitate anymore. But, Shui suddenly moved his rubbed hand Rin caught the small inuyoukai hand. His two brown eyes glared at the heir of the western lands, the smile on that beautiful face disappeared replaced by a grin full of madness. "Not only did you kill me, you are now also harming your father."

Shura's eyes widened to hear Shui's words, his movements instantly stopped, and the charm was not wasted on the dragon youkai. Raising his legs, he forcefully kicked the small inuyoukai body until it bounced backwards.

"Dora!!!"

"Small!!!"

"Sister Shura!!"

A voice full of panic was heard. Trying to stand staggered, Shura coughed and vomited blood. He could feel some of his ribs being broken and almost pierced into his heart. His gaze became unfocused, instantly, he felt a pair of hands holding his body.

Raising his head, Shura saw Shiro had been in front of him. Her face was full of worry. "You okay, Shura?"

"You're a murderer!!" Shui shouted back using Rin's voice. Rin's face that he uses shows hatred staring at Shura, while the original face above smiles happily as if watching a comedy skit. "You killed me!! You also killed Sesshoumaru, your own father!!"

Shura was biting her teeth tightly. His blood-red eyes were filled with fury, and he wanted to advance again to attack the enemy in front. Carefully guarding her consciousness, the little inuyoukai no longer cared what happened to her, the important thing was that she had to kill Shui today as well.

However, just two steps Shura took, Shiro had stopped her. That inneryou swiftly pulled the arm of the western land heir.

"Start!!!" shout Shura. His eyes were now on Shiro, as well as his angry grin.

Shiro did not release Shura as instructed, instead his hand grip on the small inuyoukai arm was getting stronger. How could he let go of Shura and let her fight Shui herself?—for it would be tantamount to suicide.

Kagome, Miroku, Sango and the others did not move in the slightest to see what was happening. It all happened very quickly. However, they realized, their current situation was completely unsettling, it could even be said to be very dangerous. Without Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha who are now injured—the possibility of them defeating Shui, Asano and also Akiko together is nil.

Then, in the precarious state that existed, the voice of a small child suddenly rang out breaking the silence.

"My name!!!!"

Without any orders, Miroku who heard the voice came to a realization and immediately moved quickly. Pulling the hands of Sango and Kohaku who were nearby, he immediately ran over and yelled calling his family's cat youkai, "Kirara!!!"

Several small balls suddenly fell from the sky. Upon touching the ground, the small ball instantly exploded and created a thick, colorful smoke covering the entire eastern pavilion of the western earthen palace.

Inuyasha who was confused by what happened, suddenly felt someone lift his body and run fast in the thick smoke that was there. "What the fuck is this!!!??" surprised scream.

But, the person or rather youkai who lifted Inuyasha to his right shoulder did not reply, he ran towards Shura as well as Shiro who was also confused and raised them both.

Putting Shura and Shiro together on his left shoulder, the youkai slowly said. "Hold tight."

"Eh? Who are you!!?? What the fuck??" shiro shouted in panic, while to Shura, he rebelled and stared intently at the youkai who lifted him up with a pale face full of anger. "Let me down."

Shura did not want to leave this place. Her father was still here, and most importantly, she still hadn't killed Shui.

"Sorry, Shura-sama, I can't do that." Reply to the youkai and unceremoniously use his right hand holding Inuyasha on his left shoulder to knock Shura unconscious.

As for Kagome who was similarly confused, she still had not digested what was happening, but the voice just now that called Miroku was not foreign, that voice was the sound of—"Kagome!! Everybody!! Don't stand anywhere, let's hurry!!!"

Someone's small hand suddenly pulled Kagome's hand, and there was no need to think about it anymore, the future miko knew who the owner of this voice was. "Shippo??"

Shippo, the little fox youkai that pulled Kagome's hand did not turn to look at her. In the thick, colorful smoke, she guides future miko along with Sakura, Mamoru, Aya, Maya and Jaken to Ah-un who has no idea since when it was in front of her. "We must escape as soon as possible!!!"

"Eh???"

Shui, Asano and Akiko who were trapped in the thick smoke were unable to do anything. Not only did it disturb their view, this strange smoke also messed up the aura of the youki present so that they could not feel anything.

Gathering his youkinya, Asano then puffed his cheeks and blew out the air from his mouth. The air or more precisely the strong wind was then created and swept away the colorful smoke that sealed the eastern pavilion of the western land palace.

As the view became clear, Shui, Asano and Akiko could see well, Shura, Inuyasha and the others had disappeared from their sight, except for Sesshoumaru who was lying lifelessly on the blood-filled ground.

"They ran away" Akiko said annoyedly. After a long wait, she thought she could see Shura, the human daughter dying miserably today.

Asano did not reply to Akiko. He did not know who had appeared and disturbed them, but the voice of the little boy they heard was definitely not unfamiliar. But, even though they managed to escape, their goal was reached; the death of Sesshoumaru.

Stepping slowly, Asano approached Sesshoumaru. However, all of a sudden, an extremely powerful pillar of fire appeared and restricted his movements that approached the inuyoukai.

Surprised, Asano immediately jumped back and prepared to fight whoever appeared. The one who could create a pillar of fire like this was definitely not a random youkai. However, nothing appeared, and as the pillar of fire disappeared, the figure of Sesshoumaru on the ground also disappeared.

Asano, Akiko is surprised to see Sesshoumaru disappear. The effect of the smoke that was messing with them sensed the aura of youki still remaining, so they had no idea who was carrying Sesshoumaru's body at all.

Asano and Akiko then turned their heads to look at Shui who remained calm despite what happened. The two of them did not know what was on the dragon youkai's mind.

Shui didn't move, he was silent. But, not long after, he burst out laughing like a madman. "The dust!! Run away!! Its alright. But remember, the consequences remain!!!"

Along with her laughter, from behind Shui, a large dimensional door then opened. Laughter and crying sounds rang out, and from within the dimensional door, youkai ran out. Their eyes were all full of madness and grinning smiles filled the faces.

"Destroy it!! Occupy the western land palace!!"
