Chapter 30's

"Open your mouth, little Rin. Ahhh.." Inukimi, his right hand holding the chopsticks, the inuyoukai was feeding food to the human girl sitting on her lap. Rin immediately opened her mouth and let Inukimi feed her, her two large brown eyes sparkling, and a smile never left her face.

"Is this food good, my daughter?" inukimi asked gently with a smile. "If it's not good, tell Mother. Mother will order the palace cook to cook another—or, is there something you want to eat?"

Rin shook his head. "No, Mother. This food is so good, Rin likes it."

Spirying and glancing at the inuyoukai in front of him, Rin actually felt very embarrassed. He actually realized, what he was doing now was really disrespectful, because Inukimi was actually the real mother of Sesshoumaru, his master. However, he was unable to stop the feeling that was in his heart. He wants to spoilt on that inuyoukai; he wants a mother.

Lowering his head slightly, Rin looked at Inukimi and smiled shyly. "The mother kept asking Rin what Rin wanted. Therefore, Rin felt that now was the time for Rin to ask Mother again, Is there anything that Mother wants? Rin will try to give you whatever you want?"

Rin's question immediately made Inukimi sigh full of adoration. His heart felt so tight because of happiness. How sweet, adorable, funny, innocent, innocent and charming this human little girl is. The distance might still be tens of kilometers, but he could clearly smell that the smelly owner was heading towards this palace with incredible speed.

Kiri and Kira can also smell the smell. The heads of the two of them immediately looked at Inukimi, waiting for the order from their master.

Rin who saw Kiri and Kira leaving the room became confused, his two brown eyeballs then looked back at Inukimi, "Mother, Where did Kiri-sama and Kira-sama go? Then, what did your mother mean just now?"

Rin's question made Inukimi smile back and hug her. "It's okay, little Rin. There are heartless puppies and murkas heading this way. I asked Kiri and Kira to expel him. Take it easy, it's not a big deal at all.."

Kiri and Kira stood in front of the entrance of the Western Land Palace. Their faces remained expressionless as usual, but seriousness radiated from them. The entrance to the palace had been closed, and on top of it, dozens of palace soldiers had prepared on top of the palace walls with arrows and bows in hand.

The ground where they were standing suddenly shook, the tree branch in front of them crackled and the sound of a tree falling down rang out. The unusually strong and intimidating aura of youki was felt by all who were there. The soldiers on top of the fortress gulped down their saliva, out of fear.

An extremely powerful roar rang out filling the entire sky, and in a matter of a second, the trees in front of the Western Land Palace fell down, a huge white dog leaping out.

Kiri and Kira who saw the figure of the dog immediately bowed respectfully, "Sesshoumaru-sama, nice to meet you," they said simultaneously.

Sesshoumaru stopped looking at them. Snarling low, his two blood-red eyes stared intently at both of his biological Mother's bodyguards as well as the soldiers who pointed arrows at him.

"This is our first meeting, Sesshoumaru-sama. The name of the servant, Kiri and this is the servant's sister, Kira. We were both Inukimi-sama's personal bodyguards, the Western Land Ruler," Left allowed himself to slowly, though his golden eyes still stared at Sesshoumaru vigilantly.

Sesshoumaru simply replied to Kiri's remark with a low growl again.

Sesshoumaru's low growling sound made Kira who was beside her Brother take a step forward, he looked straight inuyoukai in front of him. "I'm sorry for the sassness of the servant, but, please leave this place right now, Sesshoumaru-sama. Inukimi-sama doesn't want to meet you."

The words Kira spoke made Sesshoumaru roar loudly full of anger. His blood-red eyes darkened even more, his front legs clawing at the ground below. His anger was felt by all that was.

Seeing Sesshoumaru's attitude, Kiri and Kira again bent their bodies, "Alright, Sesshoumaru-sama, "they said simultaneously and as they lifted up again, red smoke instantly enveloped their bodies, "Forgive the two of you for not being able to let you into the Palace."

As the smoke dissipated, Kiri and Kira's body figures had been replaced with their original youkai figures; two large white dogs with blood-red eyeballs. Their original youkai bodies were both large, but their size was still inferior to the original form of Sesshoumaru. Not wasting any time, the two of them immediately ran closer to the inuyoukai in front while opening mouth-attacking.

Smiling, Inukimi raised her hand stroking Rin's black hair. However, his smile did not last long. Although unable to hear the sounds of the battle ahead, he was still able to sense the aura from them. A frown appeared on his forehead, as it turned out that his guards had been cornered.

"Basic is useless" sneered Inukimi softly. Raising Rin's body slowly and placing her on top of the futon, the inuyoukai kissed her forehead slowly. "Sleep peacefully, my daughter. Mother won't let that ungodly puppy snatch you from my side."

"The son of a bitch is in there!" inuyasha shouted while staring at the palace wall building in front of him. His feet moved as fast as he could, as he could clearly feel the battle behind the wall. Kagome who is on her back can also feel the battle, as well as Miroku, Sango, Kohaku and Kaeda. The aura of the dozens of youkai felt from within the palace, no doubt, the palace was definitely the palace of the youkai.

As they reached the front of the palace walls, their eyes saw a huge hole. Swallowing saliva, they all knew, what made this hole was undoubtedly Sesshoumaru. The sound of shouts, the whirling of arrows released, swords as well as grunts full of anger were clearly heard. Emboldened themselves, they stepped foot in through the existing hole.

The eyes of Inuyasha, Kagome and the others were wide-eyed at the sight of what was happening inside. The original figure of Sesshoumaru stood full of pride mobbed by the palace soldiers with swords, spears and arrows in hand. Sesshoumaru's mouth was tightly bitten by the neck of an inuyoukai in its original form of rebellion, trying to break away. Not far beside him, an inuyoukai who was also in his original form with a body full of wounds and blood stared at them intently full of vigilance.

Around the palace garden seemed to be in disarray, the ground was full of giant claws, fallen cherry trees, destroyed buildings, as well as some soldiers who grimaced in pain with bodies full of wounds. In a short time, there had been a fierce fight in this place.

Waving his head, Sesshoumaru threw the inuyoukai he bit. The huge body hit the palace building and fell down.

"Kira-sama!" shouted the soldiers who were surprised mixed with fear.

Not caring about the screams and condition of his sister, Kiri, inuyoukai who from earlier just stood staring with vigilance immediately took advantage of the opportunity available to attack. Opening his mouth, he tried to bite Sesshoumaru's neck. However, Sesshoumaru did not give it such an opportunity, nimblely he raised his front right leg which had an attacking claw.

The claw hit the left, throwing it back. Blood flowed down, his right cheek torn, yet, as if indifferent to the pain and injuries that attacked him, he got back up.

Inuyasha, Kagome and the others can only go back to gulping their saliva seeing the brutal fight in front of them. Blood had soaked the ground, but it was not even a bit visible to them if the fight was about to end.

"Inuyasha," called Miroku suddenly, though his eyes were still staring at the figure of Sesshoumaru in front. "If you ever want to challenge Sesshoumaru-san again. Remember, never ask me to help you."

Inuyasha sneered at Miroku's remark, but he knew, what Miroku said was actually not wrong. Sesshoumaru was strong, since long ago he was already very strong. But, for Sesshoumaru who was now-himself was no longer able to find a word to describe his strength. Although the ground where Sesshoumaru stood and his silvery-white feathers were full of blood, it was not his blood. His nose can recognize, clearly, the blood that is there is the blood of his opponent—the soldiers and also the two wounded inuyoukai.

Kira who was thrown by Sesshoumaru until it hit the palace building again rose. With a body full of blood and wounds, he immediately moved beside his twin sister. Gazing at the huge inuyoukai figure in front, they growled softly, preparing themselves to return to attack.

Sesshoumaru countered their growls with a low growl full of anger. His blood-red eyes stared at the two inuyoukai.

Roaring loudly, Kiri and Kira immediately dashed towards Sesshoumaru from both directions, their mouths open, exhibiting their sharp canines to attack. However, just as their canines almost managed to touch Sesshoumaru's neck, someone's voice suddenly stopped them.

"Left, Kira, stop."

Looking up at the source of the voice, inuyasha, Kagome and the others saw a female inuyoukai standing on the stairs leading to the main building of the western land palace. His hair was silver and his eyes were gold. His face was very handsome, with a pointed nose, a small red mouth, as well as a pair of lines on the cheeks and a crescent moon on the forehead. The same Mokomoko as Seshoumaru mokomoko surrounded his body.

Left and Kira immediately stopped, growling low again while staring at Sesshoumaru for a moment, the two of them immediately jumped back and returned to their human form.

Sesshoumaru stared at the woman's inuyoukai sharply. Not long after, he returned to his human form, however, his blood-red eyes stared intently at the woman. His face looked calm, but, there was anger emanating clearly for anyone who knew him.

"Explain to me what this all means, Mother..."
