Till The End Of Time [Inuyasha Fanfiction ]
Chapter 88's

From the open window, the sound of laughter was heard clearly. In one of the rooms in the western pavilion of the western land palace, Sango and Kaeda smiled at a human girl sitting gracefully wearing a white furisode.

The girl's long black hair was bunned and neatly arranged. Her pretty face in thin make up was met red with a pair of clear brown eyes sparkling with happiness and a beautiful smile on her face.

"You're the prettiest bride I've ever seen, Rin-chan." Sango said softly. A most beautiful woman on her wedding day, and it's true–Rin is amazingly beautiful today.

"I agree" Kaeda continued, nodding his head. "You are the prettiest bride my old eyes have ever seen."

The red clover on Rin's face turned red to hear the praise of Sango and Kaeda. Bowing down, he desperately held back the shame that filled his heart.

"Rin-sama," call Rei and Rika, the fox youkai who served Rin since childhood with a smile. "It's almost time."

In Rei and Rika's hands, they held a white uchikake. Seeing Rin standing up, not wasting any time, the two fox youkai immediately put her on the human girl.

Sango and Kaeda inevitably held their breaths at the shiromuku Rin was wearing. They had already heard that the dress was made by Onigumo the yarn spinner who was famous for his work, and it was true that Rin's bridal dress was the most beautiful wedding dress they had ever seen.

A very pure and plain white color, dozens of white-tiered birds are believed to invite good luck embroidered beautifully. They did not know from the thread and by what technique the level bird was embroidered, but the birds were like living.

In Japan, maybe my shiromuku that Rin wears is the most beautiful. Sesshoumaru really prepared everything best for the human girl who would be his wife today.

Kaeda looked at Rin with a smile and moved closer to the girl. Both of his hands then raised the wata boushi that Rei had given him. Slowly, he covered the face of the girl who was smiling full of warmth at him.

Kaeda has no children, and although brief, the days she spent with Rin when the girl was entrusted to her as a child, the old woman always thought the beautiful girl was her granddaughter.

"You should be happy, Rin." Kaeda said slowly. Tears piled up in his old eyes.

There was an unstoppable feeling Kaeda felt. The little girl he used to worry about, was now an adult. The girl will marry the man she has always loved, though, yes–though the man is a daiyoukai.

Rin nodded her head hearing the speech as well as seeing Kaeda's facial expression. His two tiny hands slowly raised and grasped the hand of the old miko. A smile re-expanded on his face. "Rin will always be happy, Grandma Kaeda."

"Good then." Kaeda laughed and closed his eyes. On this happy day, she did not want to shed tears. Rin's happiness, Kaeda is actually very confident, the husband of the girl who is like her grandson can make this girl happy, even though she is a daiyoukai.

"Rin-chan," called Sango then with a smile. He handed a white fan to Rin. "I wish you all the best, and I'm sure Sesshoumaru-san can make you happy forever."

The proposal and kimono according to human tradition, then now, the wedding party that is also in accordance with human tradition and the most beautiful shiromuku, Sesshoumaru who hates humans is willing to do it all for Rin. What does the human girl mean in that inuyoukai heart?–all is clearly visible.

Rin laughed lightly at Sango's words. Receiving the fan, he once again nodded his head. "Yes, thank you Sango-sama."

Rin did not say anything more, standing still while tightly grasping the fan in hand, she let Rei and Rika tidy up her clothes. A smile did not stop filling her beautiful face, and she slowly closed her pair of brown eyes. Until this very second, in fact, he was still unsure, this was real or just his dream.

Loving Sesshoumaru for Rin is like breathing, something that has stuck in him since he opened his eyes after dying in the canines of a wolf. But, beloved by Sesshoumaru, Rin never imagined it would come true.

She had indeed expected that inuyoukai to love her as well, but, she later also realized Sesshoumaru was a daiyoukai who had everything, whereas she was just a human girl with nothing. What side of her would that inuyoukai love from her?

Therefore, he decided to always be beside that inuyoukai, without being loved is also okay. He is enough to always see it.

Then, suddenly–Sesshoumaru proposed to him. The Inuyoukai wanted him, wanted him who was a human being to be his kisakinya–became his legal partner.

How happy and scared he was. Happy to be together and scared if this is all just a dream. From the day Sesshoumaru proposed and kissed her to today, which was their wedding daythe reality and the dream come together.

If this is indeed a dream, then, Rin wants to always be in this dream. Let this dream be a long and beautiful dream in which he will not wake up forever.

"Come, Rin-chan," Sango's slow voice then rattles Rin out of her mind. "The time has come."

Opening her clear brown eyes, Rin could see Rei and Rika who had no idea since when had walked towards the exit and opened the tightly shut shoji door slowly.

Stretching out a hand, Kaeda looked at Rin gently. "Come on, Rin-chan."

Smiling once more, Rin received the old miko's hand. Slowly, his feet stepped towards the door that was wide open for him.

The first thing Rin saw was a bright blue sky and a gentle breeze. A red-colored western-brimmed flag was attached to the surrounding of the pavilion where it was, flowers were blooming and nearby people were fascinated to see the bride.

"Rin-chan, you're beautiful.." Praise Maya who is wearing a miko shirt in disbelief.

"You really are like a princess in the fairy tale world, Rin-chan." Add Aya who is beside Maya. He also wears a miko shirt.

"Rin-chan!! Marry me!!" shouted Mamoru who was in Miroku's arms while crying. He still could not accept that the Rin he always liked would marry the Sesshoumaru he feared today.

"Mamoru, I won't help you if Rin-chan's husband comes looking for you, later." Laughter Miroku saw the attitude of his biological son. Patting the small back, he smiled. "From Rin-chan, how about you marry Rin-chan's daughter instead? She must be no less beautiful than Rin-chan."

"Daughter Rin-chan?" ask Mamoru. The crying on his face stopped. Both of his eyes were fixedly staring at the smiling Miroku.

"You sure you want to be Sesshoumaru, Miroku?" tanya Shipo who was beside Miroku could not believe it.

Shippo's question instantly made Miroku who was joking immediately break out in cold sweat. What did he just say, was different with Sesshoumaru? Does he want his family's bloodline to end in the Mamoru generation?

"Alright, Father," agreed Mamoru suddenly did not care about Miroku's paled face. "Mamoru will marry Rin-chan's daughter only later. She will definitely be as beautiful as Rin-chan!"

"M-mamoru, with the words of father first.." Obviously Miroku is panicking. What mistake did he make today? He had to erase his son's intentions which would be the end of his family line before it happened.

The Kohaku who had been beside Miroku, did not listen at all to the father-son talk of Miroku and Mamoru. The entire attention of the young taijiya was centered on the figure of the bride who was bowed in shame with a smile on her face.

How beautiful Rin is today, Kohaku cannot describe it. Never changed, the girl was always just like it–beautiful and so shining in her eyes.

There is pain Kohaku feels. In the past, she used to think, what Rin was like when she used my Shiromuku on her wedding day–the girl must have been very beautiful. However, it was a pity that she did not wear my shirom for him; Rin wore it for another man.

Princess in a fairy tale, Aya said rightly. The girl is indeed the princess in the fairy tale who is always beautiful, and she– is not her prince.

They were different, from the beginning to the end, Kohaku knew, the girl was always out of her reach. No matter how hard he tried, he would not be able to grasp it.

"Rin-sama," a soft Left voice suddenly rang out, making Kohaku come to his senses from his daydream. A single happy smile filled the beautiful face of that inuyoukai."You're so pretty."

Kira who was beside Kiri nodded her head in agreement with the words of her twin sister. A gentle smile also filled her handsome face, and her pair of golden eyes stared gently at the human girl.

"Sesshoumaru is lucky to have such a beautiful wife!!" kenji's laughter was loud, he patted Kohaku's shoulder that was indeed beside him. "I think Taisho is also laughing in nature there for getting a daughter-in-law as beautiful as you, Rin-rin."

"I-iya," Kohaku laughed later, a smile fluttering across his face. He did not come to ruin the event, he came sincerely to pray for the happiness of the girl he loved. "You're so pretty Rin."

"Thank you, everyone" Rin replied with a small laugh. Both of his clear brown eyes sparkled happily.

People nearby, Rin gazes around, from Kaeda, the Miroku and Sango families, Kohaku and Shippo, Kiri and Kira, Kenji and–

"Jaken-sama, Ah-un..."

"Jaken-sama, Ah-un, why are you here? Aren't you supposed to be in the Sesshoumaru-sama troupe?" rin asked as the two youkai arrived in front of him.

"I-I took care of you since childhood, so I think I really should be in this group of yours, Rin-sama, as well as Ah-un." Jaken answered a little nervously. He threw away his face not looking at Rin.

Jaken had been planning to follow Rin's entourage from the beginning. He would definitely be kicked by Sesshoumaru if he walked in the ruling party of the western land.

Jaken's words widened Rin's eyes, kneeling down, she suddenly hugged the frog's youkai tightly. Tears of happiness flowed down her cheeks. "Thank you, Jaken-sama. Thank you for being with Rin today."

Jaken always had a special position in Rin's heart. Indeed his mouth is rough and always arrogant, but, youkai frog is always accompanying him first when he was little wandering with Sesshoumaru. Looking for food, telling stories and taking care of it even though it always fails–Jaken is one of the people who are always there for him.

Hugs and sobs of happiness Rin makes Jaken who was nervous to close his eyes and inevitably to cry.

Today, seeing the little girl who had always followed him growing up and getting married, Jaken inwardly felt deeply moved. The innocent girl who always believed her every word when no one believed– deep down in her heart, she always considered the girl her family.

Ah-un who sees Rin and Jaken crying lowers both heads and attaches them to Rin's head. Both of their eyes were closed, a small fissure coming out of his mouth.

Rin laughed in tears of happiness. He then releases his hand that hugs Jaken and touches Ah-un's head slowly. "Thank you, Ah-un. Thank you for Rin."

Ah-un is one of his guards. Accompany and let himself sit on his back when he was exhausted, and sometimes warm him up in the cold of the night. For Rin, like Jaken, the two-headed dragon was also an irreplaceable figure. The two of them were part of his blissful childhood bliss.

Everyone stared at what was happening and smiled. There is a feeling they feel. In the great and glorious lands of the west, the figures of Jaken and Ah-un are meaningless. They were lowly and weak youkai, but not for the human girl who was about to become a western kisaki, they were an irreplaceable figure.

"It's been, it's been," Keeda said later. A smile adorned his face. "Don't cry anymore, Rin. On this day of your happiness, you should always smile."

"Right," agreed Kenji with a laugh. He walked up to Rin and extended his hand. "We don't have much time either. Don't let Sesshoumaru and the others wait too long."

Kenji's words immediately returned to make Rin realize. Receiving Kenji's helping hand he then stood up. Staring at Kenji, his clear brown eyes then moved on Jaken and Ah-un who accompanied him on his travels as a child. To Kaeda, Sango, Miroku and the children who accompanied him in the human village. For Kohaku and Shippo friends as a child. Kira and Kiri are guarding her, and Rei and Rika are always taking care of her. Slowly she laughed happily. His most beautiful laugh.

The joy and happiness that become one. A feeling of fulfillment that overflows in the heart. How many years had passed, day after day, season after season, in the new life she had obtained, it turned out that a kara girl who had nothing, was mute and malnourished, and was, hated and shunned by everyone, not knowing since when, he had returned to have her a warm family who had always loved him.

Kagome could hear the sound of bells, and she could also see from a distance, the group walking closer to where she was slowly from the front.

As well as the Sesshoumaru troupe, the troupe was also escorted on the right-left side by twenty youkai western warriors dressed in armor and carrying the flag of western greatness.

In the middle, Aya and Maya who were wearing miko clothes smiled widely and walked slowly in the front row of the group. Both of their hands carried bells, and they rang loudly at every step.

In the second row, he sees Jaken who keeps crying and wipe away the tears while holding Ah-un's bridle.

A large stretcher lifted by the four inuyoukai was behind the two youkai. Left and Kira as well as two female fox youkai walked on the right and left side of the stretcher. Then, behind the stretcher, he could also see, Miroku, Sango, Mamoru, Kaeda, Kenji, Kohaku and Shippo walking over with a face full of smiles.

Slowly, Kagome's eyes returned to the large stretcher. The palanquin was very large and also tall. With teak wood painted red without a roof, the four sides are only covered with white silk cloth with a western symbol that is very striking because it is red.

The wind blew softly, flying the silk cloth, making anyone who was there could see the silhouette of a white kimono girl sitting gracefully inside the palanquin. It doesn't seem obvious, but it's enough to make everyone curious.

Slowly, Kagome's two eyes were directed at Sesshoumaru who was in front of her and smiled. She could not see the expression on her husband's sister's face, because she could only see her back, so she thought, what is in the mind of the inuyoukai now?

Sesshoumaru did not move, at every step of the group that approached him, only the white palanquin was within his golden eyes. From within the stretcher covered in white cloth, he could see clearly, the silhouette of the human girl that was inside.

The smiling little girl with a face full of wounds to her without fear, the little girl she lived in, the little girl who followed and protected her. Sesshoumaru never thought that the girl he saved would be the only one he loved.

Warm feeling meets heart–happiness. A very pleasant feeling, more than satisfied than when he defeated his enemy, was more proud than when he had nourished the west, more than anything he had felt. Happiness that he never suspected there was–happiness that was taught and given by the human girl to him.

Loving and being loved, the same two feelings come together. A life full of those feelings, how happy. It will not be darkness. The world will always be bright full of beautiful light, like a spring full of millions of beautiful colors, smiles and laughter, warm and pleasant.

Therefore, the world can laugh at him, youkai can talk about it–tale of a daiyoukai who loves a human girl. Out of all that was, he chose a weak human being. But he will never regret anything that happens, because this decision is the most correct decision he has ever made.

Aya and Maya then stop and separate to pave the way for Sesshoumaru when it arrives not far in front of the inuyoukai, as well as Jaken and Ah-un.

Stepping forward slowly, Sesshoumaru's footsteps were firm and firm. His face remained flat expressionless, but his pair of eyes sparkled and shone beautifully in the abundance of sunlight.

The soldiers who lifted the stretcher slowly lowered the stretcher. Rei and Rika who were at the side immediately came forward and opened the curtain of cloth that covered the girl in the palanquin.

The blinds open slowly, the sky is bright blue, the wind blows softly and brings the petals of cherry blossoms falling down. Sesshoumaru looked at the human girl who was sitting gracefully wearing my shirom looking up at him head on.

White as snow with a tiny face. Neat-growing eyebrows with a pointed nose and long pliable eyelashes frame a clear brown eyeball full of warmth. Cheeks that meet red like roses, and a smile–smile the eternal spring she loved.

Sesshoumaru's heart skipped a beat, his golden eyes widened.  The human girl in my shiromu grabbed his attention. In the presence of so many people, he could see nothing but the girl.

How beautiful that human girl is today. She was wearing all-white clothes, yet, within her golden eyes, the girl was emitting all colors. So beautiful and pure without blemish, perfect as can be in the world–bride of his woman; the bride of Seshoumaru the ruler of the west.

"Rin..." Call Sesshoumaru slowly. Slowly, Sesshoumaru extended his right hand to Rin.

The hand that was outstretched with golden eyes that looked at him was fixed yet gentle. Rin looked at Sesshoumaru. In the black kimono and haori of a male satinist, how handsome is the inuyoukai he has always loved.

A savior in the darkness of his life. He who gives her life, gives her warmth, gives her family– gives her everything she has. Then, in everything given to her, the inuyoukai never expected anything from her, and Rin also realized, she had nothing she could give, except one, namely; her love.

Being loved by someone is so much fun, being loved by someone is so happy. That is why, for his great and deep love, for a love that will never change no matter what, he will love this inuyoukai more than all his body and soul does not care about the time–he gives such eternal love to him.

Moving his left hand slowly, Rin received a helping hand from Sesshoumaru. With his clear eyeballs sparkling with happiness, the smile on his face widened even more.

A sense of warmth is felt when their skin touches each other. How true this touch is, and perhaps indeed from the beginning, their hands should be like this, interlocked and not let go of– forever.

Rise to his feet, without saying anything, Rin lets Sesshoumaru lead him out of the stretcher. Simultaneously without letting go of the linked hands, the two of them stepped forward slowly emptying the future together.

Rei immediately came forward and stood behind Rin and opened a large umbrella, avoiding the bride from the sunlight.

Aya and Maya return to their starting positions, step forward and the sound of bells in their hands again is heard breaking the silence.

Jaken and Ah-un did not move, they stared at the daiyoukai figure of the ruler of the western land and his bride in silence. But, the tears did not stop flowing from Jaken's eyes. Seeing the smile on Rin's face and the soft eyes of Sesshoumaru, she was happy.

The two groups that stopped walked slowly again. With Aya and Maya in the front row that paved the way, the two brides in the middle of the line and the families of both parties behind the completed–rombongan stepped towards the blessing place.

All those behind looked at the backs of Sesshoumaru and Rin, then, their gazes then fell on their linked hands.

Black and white, youkai and human, strong and weak, dark and light, but–they are so harmonious. No coercion without disability, combined and melded into one–they were really created to be together.

Who would have thought Sesshoumaru would eventually actually marry Rin? Who would have thought they would be together? What will happen next? That future no one knows, therefore, all that exists pray sincerely in the heart; happiness for both brides is eternal forever.
