Chapter 176

Running, Akihiko headed towards the top of the hare mountain. He could feel clearly the aura of some youkai at the top of the mountain and also, he knew there was a fight going on. Unstoppable, the seven swords quickly began to injure the enemy. The wind cut, the water crumbled, the fire burned, the ground melted, the wood smashed, the metal leveled and the lightning scorched.

The ten bodyguards of Shui, including one of the guards Inuyasha was facing were simply unable to do much against the Shura elemental sword. They were unable to predict the movements of the sword as well as the abnormal strength.

One by one, Shui's bodyguards fell down and did not move anymore. Their bodies were shattered in an inexplicable manner, and Shura who was still left on her feet then knelt down with disordered breathing. The elemental sword then disappeared, an overwhelming sense of exhaustion and weight filled him, but, a small smile filled his face. Her strength—she has the power to save her father.

Akihiko did not say anything, he silently looked at Shui with his flat face, but his sky blue eyes seemed to say that he agreed with Inuyasha's words.

Shui jumped back staring away from Inuyasha and Akihiko, his eyes staring intently at the two of them. Anger was clearly visible on his face. Grinning, he felt extremely humiliated, and prepared to attack again.

"Shiro!!!" in the tension that existed, Kagome whose existence seemed to have been forgotten suddenly shouted loudly. Gathering all his holy power, he released his arrows.

Everything was staring at Kagome, and a second later Shui's eyes widened. The arrows released by the future miko were not targeting him, but rather—two glass bottles that sealed Inukimi and other western land youkai.

Shiro who saw the direction of Kagome's arrow immediately realized his mother's intent. Not wasting any time, he immediately ran towards the glass bottle that was above the ground.His golden eyes could see the small cracks created in the glass bottle when the holy arrow hit it, and gathered all the energy that was there, and, upon arriving in front of the glass bottle, he swung the sword smashing at him.

The crack in the glass bottle widened and then shattered. Instantly, Inukimi, Kenji, Kiri, Kira and the youkai of the western lands were sealed away. Standing before Shiro, they stared at the exhausted-looking Inuhanyou who used all his strength.

"Good job, Shiro." Kenji raised his right hand and ruffled Shiro's hair while laughing. "You're a big one."

Shiro brushed off Kenji's hand and looked at him sharply, he didn't like being treated like a child, much less in the presence of so many people. Then, what's the big one?—he's been a kid all this time?

The free Inukimi laughed at Shiro's attitude, she quite liked Taisho's granddaughter. His courage and strength, he was indeed one of the descendants of the western inuyoukai lands. Smiling, the former lord of the western land then looked at Shui. "Your collapsed stage, can we take over?"

Shui didn't reply to Inukimi's question, his anger at seeing what happened made him turn his head to look

to Kagome. Moving, he shook the sword in his hand. Youki's attack appeared and shot towards the future miko.

"Kagome!!!"

"Mother!!"

Inuyasha and Shiro cried out in panic at what had happened. However, Kenji, Kiri and Kira soon move at an incredible speed towards the future miko and fend off the attack.

"Of all that's here, you picked a human miko? Didn't you choose the wrong opponent?" smiling, Kenji asked Shui.

"Damn it!! How dare you!!" shouting in anger, Inuyasha ran over as he unsheathed the tessaiga towards Shui.

Shui immediately jumped away. However, all of a sudden, Inukimi had been by his side and laughed. The mokomokonya moved quickly to attack. "So things seem to be turning around now."

Shui repelled Inukimi's attack and turned the dodging body. However, once again an attack suddenly appeared attacking him. She did not see who the attacker was, but, Shui also knew, the attack just now came from the liberated western land youkai.

Dodging once more, Shui then jumped up and flew up into the air. Staring down, he could clearly see all who were preparing to attack him. Their faces looked impatiently wanting to tear her apart.

"Hahahaha," laughed out loud, Shui who was flying above the air did not look scared or daunted in the slightest. In fact, he looks very happy. "Alright, alright. I think it's better if you die together."

Continuing to laugh, Shui's body then changed. His back grew and then exploded. Huge chunks of meat emerged from the back. Moving, the chunks of meat grew bigger and elongated as if they wanted to cover the afternoon sky.

Shura and all those below were vigilantly staring at Shui. They had no idea what the dragon youkai was planning right now, but they had an uneasy feeling in their hearts.

The chunk of red meat then split into thousands of tentacles grabbing each human who was in an iron cage on the mountain.

"No!!"

"Please!!"

The cries of fear and the asking for help of the humans sounded. But, their screams then immediately came to a halt. Full of insanity and unreasonable strength, the humans then pulled apart the existing confinement and dashed towards Shura and the others.

"What else is this??" shiro shouted in surprise at what had happened.

The humans who were running towards them started attacking. Their eyes were all bleached out of focus, bluish veins were appearing all over their faces and bodies, and their open mouths were revealing sharp fangs.

The fight again ensued, both Inukimi, Kenji, Kiri, Kira and the western land youkai immediately took up arms against. But, the humans did not look afraid, even when their hands, feet or even heads were cut off, they still attacked.

"Damn it!!" shouting in anger, Shiro raised his sword against the humans. The number of them back was not comparable, even though he had just been happy to see the number of them who could finally win from Shui.

Kenji, Kiri and Kira who fight the humans do not stay away from Kagome. The three youkai fought while protecting the future miko who could not do much because his holy power did not affect the human.

Inukimi, who is also against men, cannot do much. The imbalance of their numbers makes them unable to move freely. Thousands of humans with youkai-like and emotionless power were definitely not things to be underestimated.

On the other hand, Inuyasha was trying to reach the place where Shura was. The Inuhanyou could calmly hand Kagome over to Kenji, Kiri as well as Kira because she knew how powerful they were, as for Shiro, his son was in a pretty safe place because it was together with the youkai clan leaders in the western lands. Only Shura has Akihiko as her only protector.

"You can fight, Shura?" akihiko asked Shura, but her eyes only looked at the enemy who was getting closer towards them.

"Can." Reply Shura briefly and stand up. His breathing was still irregular, yet, he was trying to control it. Putting up the horses, he was ready to fight again with his bare hands.

"Send the right side to you." Running, Akihiko unsheathed the sword and delivered his youkin attack slashing the heads of the approaching humans. He moved forward attacking, but still kept a fairly close distance to Shura.

Shura herself tried to fight as much as she could. The western land shepherd did not dare to recklessly use his power now, because he did not dare to risk losing consciousness due to exhaustion. The power he possessed was indeed enormous, but his current self was simply unable to use it.

Shui who was flying above the sky saw clearly what was happening, and he then focused his gaze on Shura and Akihiko. Slowly, a chunk of meat emerged from its backer again, enlarged, the chunk of meat began to form the appearance of a person or rather a youkai who was none other than; takeru.

Separating himself from Shui, Takeru jumped down and attacked Akihiko brutally without stopping.

Akihiko, who was aware of Takeru's whereabouts, managed to withstand all the attacks, but he was pushed far enough away from Shura. Staring at the ruler of the northern land, Akihiko could see the expressionless blank eyes on the face, and it made him feel very ironic.

When Shui died at Sesshoumaru's hands ten years ago, Takeru brought the dragon's youkai body back to the northern lands, and it seemed like his goal back then was none other than to swallow the dragon's youkai power. Only, the leader of the northern land did not expect, instead of gaining strength, it was he who was swallowed.

"You really only know to trouble others." Akihiko said then and began to attack Takeru who was in front of him.

Akihiko's distance from Shura could be seen clearly by Shui, and taking advantage of the opportunity, he shot down towards the small inuyoukai at high speed.

Shura who noticed Shui's attack immediately prepared to defend. But suddenly, the dragon youkai opened a dimensional door and entered it. Then, right behind the small inuyoukai, a dimensional door opened again.

"Dora!!"

"Small!!"

"Gatoshi-sama!!"

The shouting voice of Inuyasha and the others was heard by Shura. Realizing the existence of the dimensional door behind him, with all his might in a critical state, the western land heir turned his dodging body.

From inside the dimensional door, Shui again appeared with a sword in hand attacking Shura, and not letting the small inuyoukai dodge, he continued to chase after her while launching an attack.

Inuyasha and the others breathed a sigh of relief at Shura who managed to escape Shui's attack. But, they could also see the small inuyoukai was quite desperate—he was completely unable to fight back and could only survive. However, they cannot do much because of the thousands of humans who continue to attack without fear and cannot die.

"Fuck!!" inuyasha shouted in frustration mixed with fear. He is unable to reach Shura, as well as Akihiko who is fighting Takeru, as well as Inukimi, Kenji, Kiri, Kira, Shiro and the youkai leaders of the western land clan who are facing the humans. "Dora!!!"

Shura could hear Inuyasha's screams, but she didn't care about it. Focused on Shui, he continued to try to survive the attacks directed at him even though wounds and red blood began to fill him.

"I like your eyes, Shura," said Shui smilingly looking at Shura. "Your golden eyes are very similar to the eyes of brother—the eyes of a ruler."

Shura did not reply to Shui's words, she tried to concentrate on finding a gap to strike back.

"But, unfortunately you can't be the ruler" Shui continued. His tone rose and he laughed loudly. "Because you're going to die here!!!"

The sword in Shui's hand shone, and a powerful youki sword attack darted rapidly from close range towards Shura.

Shura bit her lower lip and tried to protect herself with both hands. He wanted to use his strength to create wealth again, but the tremendous pain in his chest suddenly struck me.

"Dora!!"

"Small!!"

"Gatoshi-sama!!"

The sound of full screams back of worry was heard by Shura as his body bounced backwards. Other than his chest, he now felt a tremendous pain in both of his arms. The heiress of the western lands could see the red blood, and she also knew, it was her blood.

Falling onto the ground, Shura ignored the pain and tried to get up. Looking at the long and deep incision wounds on both of his arms, he was quite grateful his hands did not break.

"You will never be able to become the ruler of the western lands, Shura!! " Sui's voice is heard again. As Shura raised her head, she saw that the dragon youkai had been right in front of her with a resplendent smile and eyes full of madness. "Because your blood is contemptible blood!! The blood of the creature that caused big brother to die!! Dirty blood! ! Human blood!!"

Clutching the collar of Shura's kimono, Shui raised the small inuyoukai high. "You don't deserve to live!! You must die!! Die!!"

Shouting on like a madman full of laughter, Shui again raised the sword in his hand. The sharp tip of the sword was pointed towards Shura's head.

"Dora!!"

"Small!!"

"Gatoshi-sama!!!"

The sound of screaming full of confusion was once again heard. What was happening in front of him now looked very slow, but Shura himself was unable to do anything about it. He who is still unable to control his power is completely unable to use his power—is he going to die this time?

'Bonding strength.'

What her birth mother said in the flower garden of a million colors was again evoked in Shura's head. What he whispered slowly in his ear remembered.
