Dating ideas

He knew that the question would come up as the night went on, but he still looked surprised.

"I came up with an idea and you might not be entirely happy with the idea." He said after a few seconds.

"I think I'll be fine as long as you give me a chance".

"I'll give you three dates. This date is no ordinary date. In these three dates you have to prove to me that you are sincere with your feelings".

Sounds like a business deal

"Sorry about that. You already know I'm a businessman. We don't engage emotions when there's something we can experience, be it a loss or a profit. It's an attempt to protect my heart." Add

"Don't equate your feelings with your business."

"I knew. I'm sorry."

"What happened after these three dates?"

"I'll judge you. And if it's higher than seventy-five percent, I'm really gonna ask you out."

"You're enjoying this too much, you feel like you're giving a test. And what if it's not higher than seventy-five?"

"Will think about it later. Oh, and there's a rule"

I looked at him with anticipation.

"You can't kiss me on one of those dates. No intimate contact of any kind."

I scoffed. "You always kissed me!."

"Is it possible that you forgot the kiss you stole from me every time you showed up late at night in your room when I was pretty drunk?"

My cheeks got very hot, it was like grilling beef tenderloin on it.

He had admitted to being drunk only for the first few nights. I felt ashamed to have stolen a kiss and I muttered my apology to him, I didn't say anything about my secret. I feel like a perverted criminal. No, I'm not a sexual offender.

"I'm so sorry." My speech

"It's okay, but I don't want you to kiss me when I'm unconscious, I don't realize what's happening to me or under the influence of alcohol"

I'm nodding. "I'm really sorry for taking advantage of you all night"

"Hmm.you really took a chance."

"I'm really sorry"

"It's okay."

I was still very embarrassed and shuddered every time I thought about it.

"We should go to sleep." And then repeat my sentence because it sounds like it implies something else as well. "To each of our own beds in our own rooms"

I heard him chuckle behind me as he got up to pick up a blanket and pillow.

....

I'm not gonna rush. The next day, I sat down with a pen and paper and wrote down good dating ideas. I don't want to be shallow. I know Devan doesn't want anything fancy.

Last night's dinner proved that. Even something as simple as cooking together can make her happy.

I spent the whole day thinking about what I could do. Even when doing anything else, the three dates that loomed ahead were always on my mind.

I thought about his life. He was an ideal student. She told me she never had a boyfriend in college, never did anything fun or went to a party. Despite having attended many parties with Anna, it was something Devan could not experience.

So, it was a slightly hasty decision but I knew where I was going to take her on our first date. A wild college party. To show her something she had never seen before. I'm sure he wants to try something new.

I searched the nearby campuses and with Bella's help found June's house. He was a student at a nearby college and had a party at his home this weekend. She is the younger sister of Bella's friend. He told us that we could join them even though we knew we were not invited and barged in there, no one would notice.

When the weekend came, I told Devan to dress casually and his schedule was free for the night. I chose to wear a burgundy dress that was just above the knee with a halter neckline.

When we arrived, Devan was very surprised. He really didn't think I was going to take him to a party.

"Are you casually taking me to the High School party for our date?"

"I know it's weird and you might hate it now, I remember not going to a party during your college days and I don't want you to miss it. Even though I don't like parties myself, I think it's important for you to experience them. And this isn't a High School party, the host is a student."

"It's not what I expected." Said. "You surprised me."

We entered the house and it was quite crowded. Devan is never in a crowded place and wishes he didn't feel crowded.

"Are you okay?" I screamed in the middle of the music.

He's nodding. "Where are we going?"

"Let's drink first."

I took him to a bar that had a lot of cans of alcohol, gave him one and we sat on the bench. I looked at him to analyze his reaction.

"It's so noisy in here?" He said, while watching the crowd of people dancing

The air feels like hot sweat and I hope he doesn't hate it.

"I've never been to a party like this before."

"Yes, I guessed it. The only party you've ever attended is a boring business party."

"It's different."

"Did you never even go to a club?"

He closed both his lips. "Not , I mean"

"How do you know you never left?"

"I just don't think it suits me."

"Let's dance?"

"Here?" He asked, looking at the crowded crowd of people with no room to enter

"Yes, it must be fun." I jumped off the bench and stretched out my hand for him

He put his empty can on the table and put his hand on my hand. I led her to the middle of the room and she looked around, a little panicked

"How to dance.-"

I smiled and went to his ear. "It's okay. Just chill. I know you may be worried about how you'll look to others, but trust me, no one will remember it even if you do the worst dance in history."

"I only know quiet ballroom dancing, I never danced in a club".

"No problem."

I pulled her closer and guided her hand to my waist and placed my hand on her neck

"So how are you feeling?"

"A little uncomfortable." He admitted he was still a little self-conscious

"Dam. You said there shouldn't be intimate physical contact." I was about to step away from her but she tightened her arms at me.

"No, it's not because of you. Actually you are the only thing that makes me a little uncomfortable. And this does not fall into the category of intimate physical contact"

He leaned his body a little closer until the side of my head touched his cheek. "I've never been in an environment like this. It's a little overdone but I'll be fine."

I nodded, suddenly finding myself speechless as my nose touched his neck. We hugged, but awkwardly followed the rhythm of the music.

After some time, I felt he relaxed a little as the crowd started to wane. He pulled away and started dancing. Although the movement was a bit stiff, I laughed and danced.

We're having fun. It was late at night and we had a few drinks. Devan was a little drunk, he became more comfortable. We dance more than just intimate. We spent some time outside in the pool area sipping fresh air while eating the cookies we found in the fridge in the hope June wouldn't mind seeing the two delicious cookies run out.

By the time I decided that we should go home, it was already past one in the morning. I called the driver because Devan was a little too drunk to operate the phone. He leaned against me heavily as we sat on the front porch stairs.

I don't drink as much as he does. Now he rests his head on my shoulders and his eyes are closed while wrapping my arms around his waist to make sure he doesn't fall.

He would occasionally mumble something on the skin in my collarbone and I had to catch my breath. She was still not out of her dancing phase because she asked if I wanted to dance with her again a few times.

As soon as the car arrived, I brought it inside with the help of the driver. She's sleepy.

When we got to the mansion, I put her to bed after taking off her shoes and made sure she was in a comfortable position to sleep in.

With a kiss on his head, because even though he said he shouldn't kiss her, a kiss on the forehead isn't dangerous. I whispered good night to her and left the room
