Devan's attitude

The wedding was beautiful. I'm very happy for Andrew and Silla despite not knowing them very well. Their marriage was like a fairy tale. I don't believe that such things exist in real life, but seeing Andrew and Silla makes me think that they are an exception.

After the reception, Andrew and Silla set off for their honeymoon. The bouquet of flowers was captured by Devan by Luna. This is very surprising and everyone is sure that they will be the next couple to get married soon.

Devan was a little weird at the reception. Every time he spoke, he was always busy talking to other people. Even when I saw him alone. When she saw me she panicked and dodged me by going in the opposite direction and asking someone to talk to her.

At the time of the dance, she was actually dancing with all the women in the hall except me. It felt like he was purposely avoiding me. Not understanding why he was doing this, I really wanted to dance with him once but he never gave me a chance. She even danced with Anna but not with me.

So many men asked me to dance with them, even Raka. I knew that if she refused to dance with him, she would make a fuss and nag me all night so I had no choice. I saw Devan looking at Raka with a cold gaze but Raka was too busy looking at me to notice him.

I know that Devan doesn't like to see me dance with him.

The night ended with him and Luna coming out of the reception room before everyone else after congratulating the newlyweds and I felt disappointed, weren't we friends? Why is he really ignoring me like that?

As expected, at the end of the reception party, Anna was already unconscious. I didn't want to deal with Anna being drunk and Gio who was similarly drunk volunteered to accompany her and leave her in her room when they arrived. I ordered the driver to drive them home because I didn't know where Gio was staying. Anna looked so sleepy that it felt safe to leave her to Gio because under such circumstances, I doubt she would say anything about our secret to Gio.

I stayed for a while to take pictures with the couple and congratulate them, after which I decided to go home.

What occurred to me during the trip back to the mansion was Devan and his strange behavior.

But after thinking about it a lot, I found an excuse. Perhaps Daria and Devan's rivalry has been known to the media and she has no intention of improving their situation. Because I'm sure it's going to be huge and maybe he just doesn't want the limelight to be distracted from Andrew and Silla because it's a special day they've been waiting for a long time.

When I met Anna the next day, the first thing I noticed was that she looked exhausted even though she had slept for more than twelve hours. Her hair was messy and a lot of tangles were visible. But before I could speak to him, he closed the door in front of my face.

Right after the wedding, the day of the exam is approaching. I had to work extra hard during those days and also had to work extra hard to keep my secret, a secret. It was decided that Luna or Bella would pick me up from the mansion every time there was an exam and would take me to the campus on the grounds of hanging out.

When I returned to campus it felt strange for the first time, also to be careful and try not to meet with Pritta.

I left the house in clothes that were considered normal to them and changed clothes in the car with other clothes that would not catch my attention. And after the exam changed, I went back to the clothes I was wearing when I left the house.

Anna's exam started a little slower than me so she had a few more days to prepare herself.

I can do my exams without any problems. The exam surprisingly went well for me, I guess I'll be bothered with all the pretenses I did. Fortunately it didn't turn out that way.

During those days I couldn't talk much with Anna and Devan or anyone.

I locked myself in my room for about a month to study for exams.

But what bothered my mind for that long was Devan. He didn't ask me to talk to him at all. Just a while ago he whined at my door, asking me to go out and spend time with him. We had fun while we were in Paris and when we went to watch a movie late at night. Even driving for an hour for breakfast at my place of work was fun.

Why is it so quiet now?

I'm just making up a reasonable reason for that. He must be busy. She must be with Luna. He must be on a business trip. He must be tired. She must be sleeping because she's so crazy.

Yeah, it's been a month. I was busy with the exam and did not think too much about his absence.

But when the exam was over, I realized it.

So I decided to try talking to him.

The next day was a sunny Sunday, I woke up a little earlier than usual, took a shower and put on a cute top and shorts.

I know a little bit about his Sunday routine and it's no different than any other day. On Sunday he worked. The only difference is that he wakes up an hour later on Sunday.

On other days he woke up at six and on Sunday he woke up at seven

When I heard him ruffling his room, I went and stood right in front of his door with a smile.

A few seconds later, he opened the door.

She must have been surprised to see me suddenly because her eyes were slightly widened.

He looks almost ready to work in a dark blue suit. Her tie was coiled around her neck, waiting to be resolved and she was in the process of wearing her watch even though she stopped to look at me.

"Uh..." I tucked a hair behind my ear, not knowing what to say. "Let me do it for you," I said as I stepped closer to fix the tie.

I felt her eyes on me, but I stayed focused on making her tie perfect.

"It's done" The tie finished well and smiled at him. "Do you want to watch a movie with me after work? You want the experience of living like an ordinary person but we didn't get it last time."

Devan avoided my gaze. "I'm busy and there's a date with Luna later so I don't have time for that."

Without waiting for my answer, he closed the door behind him and started walking down the hallway.

"Wow, you're really busy" I muttered at the door.

Alright, he must have a lot of work today and of course Luna is more important than me.

I watched him walk until he disappeared slowly around the corner.
