"You both want to show each other that you are the best. You two want to face each other, so that you both are satisfied. This stupid joke will never be finished",

"What do you mean?"

"I mean that you two should meet me by the pool right after an hour, I need Anna's help with this," she said happily.

I shrugged my shoulders. "Whatever you have in mind won't work. We'll still be hostile to each other after this".

"Trust me. After this you two will hug each other."

I rolled my eyeballs. "true."

"OK, don't really hug but you two might be friends."

"Okay, that's bullshit."

"Wait and see."

Gio disappeared into the mansion, maybe into Anna's room. I doubt he would want to see her stupid face but I was surprised when the two of them came out of the library together, with a mischievous smile.

The two then walked towards Anna's room and closed the door. Don't know what they're doing inside together, but I'm sure they won't like it one bit.

Half an hour later, the two finally came out of the damn room, sitting outside, staring at the door as if it was the most exciting thing in the world. I kept filling my mouth with ice cream, chocolate and a piece of chocolate cake while I waited.

When they came out, Anna immediately started dragging me into my room and locked me inside, she ignored my protest. I banged on the door and shouted for them to get me out, but to no avail.

What are they both planning?

I heard screams and complaints from the other side of the door and could hear that Devan was upset because he was also pushed into his room.

After that, the atmosphere became quiet. No one around would let me out of the room. I'm sure Gio and Anna have warned the maids not to open our room doors.

I was so bored that I decided to take a nap.

It felt like hours had passed until I was violently awakened by anna jumping around in bed, screaming for me to wake up.

In my sleeping condition, she somehow managed to drag me out in the pool area, the place Gio wanted to be.

Devan was there too, with Gio. Devan looks upset, more angry than in the morning. It made me smile

"So, you little boys are ready for this?". Gio asked us enthusiastically.

"Why did you drag me here?" Devan asked angrily.

"The four of us gathered here for a fair competition between Devan john and Adinda Daria Daralyn." I looked at her with my mouth open, not because of her announcement of the competition, because frankly I had expected it, but because Daria's middle name, Adinda, that name was too similar to my name. It was so similar that it started to scare me.

If you don't know my real name is Adinda Darla Devina and pretends to be Daria Daralyn's sister, the daughter of a billionaire.

It can't be a coincidence, can it? It feels impossible to me. How could our first and second names be so similar? That's too close.

"Before we start, I want you two to promise us" Anna said

"What?" I asked carefully.

"The one who won this, is the better one between the two of you. You both have to accept that reality and move on with your lives. We don't want to hear any more about the jokes you guys do to each other. Don't try to hide it because it's pointless." Said Gio, glancing at Devan.

"After the winner is announced, we want the two of you to at least be polite with each other. Try to make friends, you don't know how great you are individually and we'd love it if you two tried to get to know each other's amazing sides." Anna added.

Gio groaned in pain, he tried his hardest not to show it.

"You're mistaken. All the amazing things are here." Devan said as he pointed to himself from head to toe. "Not there," he said, pointing at me.

"It's sad how good you are." I sighed, shaking my head at him sadly

"Friends, this is what we're talking about. You both have images of each other embedded in your mind and it's not at all pleasant and you don't want to see each other in a different perspective. You two are very stubborn" Anna said

"So we want you two to promise us that after this meeting, you two will be friends and not say bad things to each other."

Anna looked at me expectantly, "So you agreed to do that, right?"

I thought for a moment about it. If it comes out as a winner, I don't have to worry about Devan's silly jokes. I was getting tired of our childish attitude. It's not very like me.

"Yes, I agree." I said as I nodded at Anna who gave me a big smile.

Devan grunts. "You're a total coward.

"Agreeding to make peace with you doesn't make me a coward. It makes you a coward. You are so afraid to be friends with me. You're afraid I won't change as you thought about me all along. So Devan john, tell me, are you afraid of me?"

He looked at me for a moment. This must be the first time he's not glaring at me. I kept staring at him as he exhaled sharply through his nose.

"All right, I agree".He said somewhat reluctantly. "But I'm not afraid of you. I'm pretty sure you're who I think you are."

"Then you'll be surprised because I'm not like that. You don't even know me" I said with a triumphant smile at him

"We'll see later"

"Ooh, yeah! I didn't expect the two of you to give up so quickly. Essentially, Gio told them about the player," Anna said excitedly.

"OK, so this game consists of three rounds. The first is where you have to jump into the pool," he said, pointing to the pool, and picking up an object, the key to your room. We have locked your room and both room keys are similar so it doesn't matter which key you find. The first one to find it, will win the first round."

I looked around the large swimming pool in front of us. "But that stupid key must be anywhere in that pool. Don't tell me we have to search the whole pool to find that key." I whine.

"No, what did you expect? Nothing is easy, '" Gio replied

"Second spin?" Devan asked casually

"Friday. The person who gets the first key will have the advantage. Others will be second to them so they know the strategy. This isn't real hide-and-seek. All you have to do is get into the room without being caught by the others." This one seems easy enough. The house was huge and one could easily get lost. I was sure I could sneak into my room without a problem.

"However, if you meet your enemy outside your room, then you should go to your room. How-to? Don't know. You can wrestle past them, do anything to get into your room. But make sure you don't kill each other. Once you get into your room, you're safe. Then you have to search for three notes that contain puzzles from the internet. The one who takes the least amount of time to complete the task is the winner of the round, If you win both, you are the winner! If not, then you two should go into the third round.

"And what is it?" I asked, crossing my arms in front of my chest. This better be a little easy.

"Nothing is difficult, we'll all sit down and let the two of you figure out the answer to this puzzle. You can't cheat, which means you can't find the answer. The person who takes the least amount of time will be the winner. That'sthat's all".

"Okay, let's get started. Can we start?"

"Wait, do we have to jump into the pool in clothes like this?" ask me while looking at my shorts and tank top.

"Unless you want to do it in a bikini." Said Gio while shaking his brows.

"No" I answered quickly.

"Let's start the first round!" Anna said excitedly while clapping her hands
