I'm Not Daria

I'm Not Daria
Little exaggeration??

My hair is goosebumps, I want to scream but nothing comes out of my lips.

I just gulped.

I stared at the bathtub filled with blood, at least that was what it looked like. Something poked a little out of the water.

With trembling hands, I reached out and dipped my hand in the water. Sensing something hard in it, I grabbed it and pulled it out only to throw it back into the water while I stumbled back in fear.

I landed on the cold bathroom floor, crawling away from her.

The doll was very creepy, a bloody doll with large, empty black eyes and a bead grin on its face.

I screamed in fear when I saw him. The doll looked at me with its evil smile that could make me run up the hill. Suddenly, the lights went out. I screamed even louder.

"Yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy"

I got up with difficulty, ran towards the door and pulled it open.

Huge mistake

In a hurry, I opened the closet door, not the door that could get me out of here. As soon as the closet door opened, something fell on my shoulder.

I'm tumbling. I stopped breathing because I was sure it wasn't a towel or a dress or any type of clothing. Right then, the light flashed and I closed my eyes.not wanting to see what landed on my shoulder.

But I'm in a curious ghost.

I opened my eyes and peered towards my shoulder. My mouth was open again but I couldn't scream.

On my shoulder was a bloody hand, with blood flowing from his arm to the tip of his finger dripping down, on me and the clean tiles on the bathroom floor.

I jerked back, fell to the floor curling up towards the door. I pulled it but did not flinch, it locked from the outside. Someone got me stuck here. I banged on the door, wailing for them to throw out the clothes.

The lights flickered and went out completely after a few seconds. I heard laughter from the end of the bathroom, from the bathtub and I could have sworn my heartbeat stopped for a moment

Something slid out of the closet and the lights flickered again. In the dim light, I saw what came out of the closet

It was an eyeball. The iris of the eyes is green.

"Aaaaargg"

I held onto my chest because I could feel the bile rising into my throat. My breath gasps as I struggle to get air in my lungs. I'm really petrified.

The chuckling continued, accompanied by moans and it was then that I realized the figure, half hidden behind a closet.

His eyes shone in the dark with a sinister grin that shone in the darkness. The fact that I could see it even with a white cloth covered from head to toe made it worse.

I almost had a heart attack right now, or passed out. In fact I had stopped breathing unconsciously as well not helping. My lungs protested for oxygen, but the protest was not heard in the face of my fear.

I closed my eyes tightly, hoping it would be a nightmare.

"Please! Help u! Eject me!" banging on the door, my face might have been flushed from crying.

A few seconds passed before I heard the sound of the door breaking,

I looked towards my brightly lit room, saw the person who came to save me. That was Devan

I don't care who it is

I reached out to him in a hurry, but suddenly I lost focus and felt like I was falling. I clenched my teeth, preparing for the impact, but in the midst of the fall, a strong arm surrounded me and prevented painful contact with the floor.

Devan knelt down and pulled me closer. I held onto her, wrapped my arms around her waist as I sobbed in her chest.

He rubbed my back comfortably

"It's okay, Daria you're okay. You're safe" she whispered to me, but it's hard to believe.

I cried even harder on his chest and shook my head, my lips shaking.

"That's those things. I fear. Get me out of here" stammered because my lips were shaking. Pressing my face against his chest, not wanting to see my terrifying surroundings.

"Daria, it's not real. Look at me," he said, cupping my face. "Breathe."

Can't do. Not getting out of there.

"They're real. Get me out of here!" I struggled to get up while holding on to Devan for support.

"Stay here. You look like you're gonna faint or puke".

"No!" I screamed at him. "Take me out of here!"

"Hey, it's okay, I'll show you that there's nothing here" he said, stepping away from me and heading to the bathtub.getting his shirt from behind

He's laughing a little. "Nothing scary here. Promise."

"No, don't go!"

"Relax, this is all fake. Look," he said and I shouted as he picked up the eyeballs.

He squeezed it and the eyeball broke in the middle of the road. Instead of something sticky, what comes out is just a sponge-like substance.

"What?"

"Yes, and this arm" he said, while pulling his severed arm. "It's from the soft toy I just painted red. Look, it's not real"

I just stared at him

"So calm down, okay? Don't cry"

He was looking for something in the closet.

"I've been playing creepy voices on my phone." He pulled out his phone and tapped something inside. The creepy noises stopped instantly and he stuffed his phone into his back pocket.

He walked towards the bathtub and picked up the doll.

"It was one of Jessica's dolls left behind. I made it look scary. And this" he said, grabbed a white cloth covering the ghost behind a closet that turned out to be an unused trash can placed on a bench.

"I put a glow in the dark sticker here to make it look like a face" he said. He pointed around the bathroom. "seen? Nothing scary here."

"You're the one who set this up?" I asked, my fear disappeared quickly and changed with anger.

He opened his mouth to say something but closed it and took a step forward "Daria"..

"No, listen to me. How dare you do something like that to me? All for some stupid reason to take revenge on me? How old are you - five years? There's a limit you can't cross, Devan".

"Daria, I.." she hesitated, closed her eyes and groaned. He stared at his shoes for a few seconds before staring at him. "I want to say that 1. I'm so-"

"You what?!"

"Sorry," he said quickly. "I'm sorry, okay? It might be a little overwhelming this time, but...

I laughed without humor. "A little overdone?"

"Okay, a little exaggerated this time but..

"Get out." I said, pointing to the door.

"What?"

"You heard me. Just get out of here."

He sighed. "Hey, comeon. I didn't know you'd be so scared".

What happened to this tough girl ? Inner devan

"If you don't know that, you won't set it up. You did it intentionally. Now get out of here. I don't want to see your face anymore."

"Well, it's almost impossible when our rooms are facing each other, unless you decide to lock yourself up in this room for the next two months, but I have my doubts."

I groan, annoyed. "Get out."

He kept looking at me and didn't move to leave.

I stepped towards him, making sure to stomp his feet hard. I was surprised to see how he did not flinch even though it was extremely painful.

I grabbed her arm and pulled her out of the bathroom with great difficulty.

He pulled his arm back from my grasp and held my shoulder with his other hand. "You're okay, right?"

I grunt. "When did you start caring?

"Who said I care. I'm just worried about my reputation with your parents. I don't want a spoiled brat like you to ruin it."

"Of course" I said cynically.

"Think all you want. But that's the truth."

"That sounds like you're trying to convince yourself of that."

He riled, rolled his eyes and without a word, left.
