I'm Not Daria

I'm Not Daria
Seeking Anna

Anna owned a car that her parents gave her when she was 16 and has been using it ever since. It has been more than 5 years now and the car has shown signs of old. However, it was a small black car that was still good.

"When are we gonna get there?" I asked, It's been over half an hour and we're still driving down the streets of New York to get to his friend Sera's house.

"Are you so excited that you can't wait to get there?"

"Hopefully."

He rolled his eyes. "We're almost there." Anna replied, excitement is evident in her tone. Anna is a woman who loves to party.

He stopped in front of a large house with high walls surrounding it and an intricately designed black gate with two people in black on either side.

Anna opened her seatbelt and glanced at me who was still wearing a seatbelt.

"Why don't you come out?" She asked while tidying up the corners of the dress that was very fitting for her.

Anna's dress worn on me is a little big but still looks good.

"Who are they?" I asked, pointing towards the muscular men at the gate.

"Eh... They are the guards." He said he turned his eyes back towards me, which had been fixed on the guards.

"At the party?" I asked in disbelief.

Who will be at a party? I don't even know what kind of party this is. Suddenly I felt self-conscious. What if I dress too much? Or even worse, the wrong costume??

"Yes". Now come on, you'll be fine."

"I hope so". I got out of the car and walked towards the big gate with Anna

The gate was wide open and the cars drove inside.

We were stopped by the guards as soon as we reached the gate. One of the guards asked for our names and we told him. Then he talked to someone through the microphone and we were finally allowed in.

"Why do they need so much security?" ask me.

"Sera's parents were rich and had a very successful business. I don't know, they're billionaires or something so they have a lot of business rivals, so they need security."

"They're billionaires?" askaiku.

"Yes." Yeah."

"Anna, are you sure we're in the right place. I mean, they're very rich and we just work in a cafe. I would feel so out of place" I said hesitantly.

It's gonna be so awkward for me. Not only are his people strangers, but they are also billionaires!! I shouldn't have come at all if I knew how low the feelings of inferiority were among my classmates. I had to listen to Anna.

"MAZUR! It has nothing to do with the party. Sera is the sweetest and kindest man I have ever known. He did not care about his status and his parents were also kind, as long as it did not harm them. So don't try to kill anyone here, okay?" He looked at me with a serious face. I was at a loss as to what his words meant, hoping that he would laugh out loud after saying that, but he instead put on a serious expression.

"Why? I'm planning your fancy funeral tonight!" I said cynically.

"I knew. That's why I told you not to kill anyone." He said and finally his expression turned amused.

....

There was a big house in front of us. In front of the house there is a large garden overgrown with beautiful flowers and there is also a swing. white pillars on both sides of the entrance of the house and at the entrance there is a guard.

Do they really need that much security? Are they threatened by something?....

....

We climbed the stairs to the entrance and the guards did not stop us. As we entered the palace-like house, my jaw gaped at the sight ahead .

The hall is very big and beautiful. The inside of the hall was spectacular with white walls and the other walls had a nice purple design covering the entire wall that gave the room its color, except for the people.

There is also a large chandelier hanging from the glittering ceiling with brilliant lighting.

after I observed this magnificent hall, I only realized the people inside. Oh, my God, I feel so out of place. Fortunately, they were not looking at us.

"Come," Anna gestured, holding my hand and leading me through the crowd. We walked to the bar in the corner. They're serving drinks.

Anna looked at me with a pleading expression and I raised an eyebrow.

"Cannot be. You promised me not to drink tonight".

I don't know anyone here and I need a non-drunk person to drive me home because I don't know where we are , Anna took me to Sera's birthday party and I was there for the first time.

"Promises are made to be broken" he replied.

"And if you break this promise, I will give your bones to my dog!" my threat.

"You don't have a dog." She's speechless.

"I'll buy it."

"Oh come on, Darla rilex a little. When was the last time you drank?"

"A week ago? " , I answered

"seen? A week ago! 7 Days ago? 168 Hours ago?! 10,080 minutes ago! And 604,800 seconds ago. That was a very long time Darla".

"You sound drunk so you don't have to drink".

"I'm not drunk and why not drink? I have the right to do whatever I want."

"Hey Anna, are you coming?," I heard a friendly and sweet voice from behind Anna, We turned to the source of the voice.

"Hey Sera! Happy birthday to you!" Anna said while hugging him. I think he is sera .

"Thank you," Sera replied as she let go of her embrace with Anna .His big black eyes looked at me.

"He was my friend I told you about. Darla this is Sera, Sera this is Darla". Anna introduced us to each other, casually gesturing

towards us.

"It's nice to meet you. Happy birthday Se-had not had time to finish his sentence, Sera had already rushed towards me and hugged me tightly. I returned her embrace gently.

"thank you. Come on." He grabbed Anna's hand and dragged her away from me and slowly disappeared amidst the crowd.

Oh my God, help me....

I looked around frantically looking for signs of her existence. Too many people around me are drinking, talking and laughing. No one wants to look at me as they walk past me.

Okay, I don't need to panic. It's just a birthday party and Anna definitely wouldn't leave without me. I'll find him eventually.

I just hope he won't come close to alcohol.

I looked for him among the crowd while following the trail where they disappeared.

I asked some people if they saw Sera and most of them replied that they had not seen the birthday girl and some of them said that she might be in her room.

His room? How could I possibly find her room in this huge place?.

I decided to stay calm. It was his birthday, so he would come to cut the cake or whatever. I went back to the bar where they served drinks and sat in one of the chairs.

I feel so lonely. I hope he comes back to me soon.

I sat there for some time somehow seeing people talking, dancing and eating around me.

I knew this party was a bad idea for me. Next time I can't listen to Anna, I promise myself not to attend the party anymore!.

Greetings of love from me
