POV BACK TO DARLA YAA

I darted straight into a sitting position as soon as my eyes opened. I immediately regretted sitting down abruptly because the room was spinning at such a high speed. I closed my eyes and pressed my fingers into the temple. It took me a while to recall the last thing I did, which was a fight with Luna.

I let out a breath. I was worried about what I should do and what I should do.

I saw a medicine on my desk. Immediately I downed it with water and thanked whoever put it there because my headache had just begun to feel.

The atmosphere at the breakfast table was tense. I woke up late and everyone had breakfast. Devan has gone to work. I

regretting not being able to catch him before he left.

I don't remember many things from last night after my quarrel with Luna, hoping not to do something stupid but upon seeing my parents and Anna sitting at the dinner table even when they didn't need to, I felt like I was doing something big and stupid.

I immediately swallowed my breakfast despite not having an appetite. I rushed out of there to clean up my dishes and quickly picked up my phone that was vibrating like crazy all along.

I ignored thousands of notifications and searched Daria Daralyn on Google.

"Tidaaaaaakk" pekikku slowly. All those articles were about my explosion outside the party. My photos are everywhere. I cried and my makeup was a mess.

Apparently I had rushed out of the party to meet the paparazzi who recognized me and in a drunken state I shouted that I was Daria Daralyn and then proceeded to confess all the things that Daria had done The real daralyn. It was all very dramatic, I was so embarrassed. I don't want to face anyone after this. I want the earth to split open and swallow me whole, so that I will not see the light of the sun again.

I took too long to wash dishes and then escaped to the room secretly smelling a confrontation with my parents.

There goes. Here's finally. I will be caught and expelled. There's no way the original Daria wouldn't have found the article. I didn't even have time to tell Devan the truth I was going to tell him after the party but then I got drunk because of what Luna told me and now everything will be ruined. How long will the original Daria appear??. I gotta get out of here before that happens

Before I could make a drastic decision, there was a knock on the door. I approached slowly, afraid it was his parents.

"Darla" whispered Anna. I almost broke the door open by forcing it.

"Anna, II made a mess."

"Dam. Luna's coming to talk"

"It's over, isn't it? We'll get caught. We have to go back to our old lives."

He shrugged his shoulders. "This is the best anyway. I've been waiting for today. I'm sick of being here. I'm sorry you didn't have time to tell Devan. But there's still time. You could probably tell him."

I shook my head. "You weren't at the party last night. I can't do it anymore."

"Why not?"

"Luna told me she couldn't tell him."

"Why did he say that? He wants you to tell him more than anyone."

"I don't know. He told me he needed to find Daria. Daria lied about her whereabouts and she might be somewhere worse off. He thinks he's not safe there and he wants to look for him in a place suspected by his private detectives. He didn't want me to tell Devan because he wanted me to pretend for a few more days until the real Daria was found. I can't wait a few more days! I could die from all the guilt, so I accidentally got drunk and messed it all up."

He put his hand on his shoulder. "All will be well. I'm sure Luna has a plan. Let's just wait for him."

Luna came right before lunch. All this time he refused to go out,

"Gosh, looks like the paparazzi have made a home outside. They're not leaving". Luna's greeting did not calm my anxiety.

I rushed towards him, "Luna, what are we going to do?"

"Darla, it's done. There's nothing we can do to remedy this situation unless you want to come out and apologize for your disrespectful disclosure".

I shake my head strongly. "No, I don't want to go in front of them."

"Then, there's nothing we can do but wait until the situation calms down. Do not search for articles. They said all the bad things about my friend"

I sat on the bed, hugging my legs to my chest. "It's scary. How did Daria handle all this from a young age?"

"Mostly he doesn't care what the world thinks of him. It used to bother him a lot when he was young, but gradually he became indifferent to the gossip and rumors about him." Luna looked sad on her face

"Where is he?"

"I was planning to leave today to look for her but this happened and I had to go back to make sure you were okay."

"thank you. And I'm sorry!

"It's okay. Maybe telling you that you shouldn't tell Devan at the party isn't the right place or time.I understand you're angry and frustrated with the situation. I just don't want any more trouble until I find out Daria's whereabouts first."

"Is he really in danger?"

"I'm not entirely sure. He gave me the name of a small town where he lived and even though he ordered me not to involve detectives to look after him, I did it anyway because I was worried about him. This detective has been trying to find him for a year and I guess he's a bad detective or Daria is really good at hiding because she can't find him, so I hired two more detectives and they couldn't find him. When all three failed, I realized he was lying to me. He doesn't live in that city which means he doesn't want me to know where he lives and the only reason I can find for his lies is that he's somewhere he shouldn't be". He concluded.

"Maybe he's just worried you're gonna tell his parents." I reasoned.

"I doubt it. She trusted me enough to call and I didn't say a word about our relationship to her parents, so she definitely knew, she could trust me with anything. Anyway, one of the detectives found something. It was from a town across town that he told me about. He finds a girl who looks like him and suspects she may be Daria. He was named . She is Darina Revana a high school student who is the same age as you two. He's adopted. That's what he's collecting but he suspects it might be a disguise done by Daria. I doubt there's another girl who looks like her."
